A tale of a Soul

“So tired…”trailed Kai as he walked alone again long the dirt path that lead to his next destination where ever that would be, everything for him was going sluggish till he began to sense a powerful evil force nearby “What the hell is that?” he thought as he tried to sense the direction of which the dark energy was emitting from “Nothing should have that much power.” Kai taking this note began to run towards the energy hoping for it to be the Azure Knight. Sadly though his search would end at the mouth of a cave and the energy began to fade “Damn it I went the wrong way.” He said as he then began to notice storm clouds coming fast “No storm should be this fast.” He thought as he walked into the cave for shelter. Upon exploring the cave he went further and further in till he reached a carved out stone stair case and the smell of sea water began to fill his nostrils “What is down there?” he questioned as he lit up a torch and walked carefully down the stairs with his katana drawn “Hello?” he yelled down the stairs hoping for a response only to hear his echo come back. He walked down the stairs for a few minute till it lead him to a giant platform in the middle of room with water surrounding it and a statute on it’s side next to the platform “What is this place?” he thought as he soon walked in the middle of the platform “And what’s this energy I feel?” he thought as he walked looking for a much weaker energy “This isn’t the other energy I felt before, but it’s still evil.” He said as he put down his torch and the room then lit up “Strange.” He thought as he then looked around to see a door leading to another part of this cave “What’s down there?” he thought as he proceeded to walk down the stairs to soon meet his next opponents “What do we have here?” asked Cervantes and Astaroth stood next to him “Another soul SMASH!” roared Astraoth as he took out his giant axe and Cervantes drew his two swords “Come on how is two on one fair?” asked Kai “I am going to destroy you both.” He said trying to call their bluffs “Weak human.” Laughed Cervantes “I have taken on many like you before and now I have their souls to prove it” Kai then looked at him in awe “How powerful can you be your half dead.” Said Kai “Very.” Grinned Cervantes as he then released his dark energy along with Astaroth’s “Okay this is going to be a problem.” He said as he then got ready to take them both on.
“Bring it old man.” Said Kai as Cervantes and Astraoth jumped down at him. “You should of run while you could.” Laugh Cervantes as he then began to stab his swords at Kai to be blocked every time. “Now!” yelled Cervantes as Astraoth took the opportunity to smack the butt of his axe into Kai sending him backwards “I can’t beat them alone.” Said Kai as he dropped his Katana and took out his kunais “they’re my only hope.” He said as he threw one Kunai at Cervantes to pierce his leg “Do you think that hurts me boy?” asked Cervantes as he took it out effortlessly “I tried.” Said Kai as he then threw his Shuriken at Astraoths axe hoping to break it in half to only see it deflected right to the side and into the statute “CRUSH!” yelled Astraoth as he then rushed Kai and shacking the floor as he ran “No you Ogre!” Yelled Cervantes as he tried to stop Astaroth, Kai then slide under Astraoths legs and stabbed his last kunai into astraoth’s back and slide down all over him “AH!” screamed Astraoth as he fell to his knees “now you die first.” Smiled Kai as he then positioned the Kunai in the back of his head the next sound not Astraoth’s death scream, but rather Cervantes’s gun, which he then pulled out and shot Kai in his arm “damn it.” Thought Kai as he then dropped his kunai and held his arm in pain “You thought you had us?” asked Cervantes walking up to him “I tried.” Laughed Kai “Any last words?” Asked Cervantes as he then checked Astraoth’s wounds “Yeah.” Said Kai slowly pulling out his fire bomb “Out with it boy.” Said Cervantes as he walked up to him and pulled out Nirvana “I am taking out of you with me.” Said Kai as he slowly began to fade in and out of consciousness, he then threw his bomb at Astraoth, fortunately the bomb was filled with gas and gunpowder making the bomb extremely powerful which “NO!” yelled Cervantes as he turned to watch astraoth burn to ashes “He can not be reincarnated now!” “What have you done fool?” asked Cervantes as Kai passed out “Damn fate.” He thought as he then noticed a figure speed behind Cervantes and the two began to clash.
