Nightmare's redemption

Ivy then awoke the next morning to find herself in a warm blanket while Nightmare was on the bed with a few light blankets on him. “You really aren’t that monster anymore are you azure knight?” asked Ivy to his sleeping body she then kissed him slightly on the head and soon found herself amazed she had done that “What am I doing? Am I falling for this demon?” she asked herself as she then left the cave for some air. Nightmare then found himself having an interesting dream.
Dream
“I want to stay like this.” Said a feminine voice to Nightmare as they both laid there sweating and panting after their recent activity Nightmare nodded and then soon found himself fighting an unknown fighter “you think you can finish us off that easily don’t you. You have become weak and feeble and no longer deserve to guard soul edge or Calibur “ he then found himself falling into darkness and then ended up on a battlefield smoldering with bodies skeletons and the rotting flesh of man “WHERE AM I!?” he yelled “these are all the people you have and will kill.” Said Siegfred walking over to him “YOU!” said nightmare picking up soul edge “Yes I am alive, but I am in two now you will need to find me at the highest temple and together you and I will destroy that sword in your hand and make sure none of this happens.” And with that Siegfred left

“ARRR!” yelled Nightmare sitting up in cold sweat, he soon saw the blanket Ivy was under on him and saw her body gone “She’s gone.” Said Nightmare a bit saddened but then saw Valentine in the corner “hm” he then got up and went to get breakfast. Ivy soon returned and saw Nightmare gone “The obimination has awaken.” Said Ivy to herself as she headed to the bed to get some sleep.
Nightmare then came back and cooked breakfast for both of them “I need new armor.” He said as he finished making it. Ivy then got up and ate her share silently. “I have to leave soon to go back to my home.” Said Ivy softly “So then leave I do not hold you here.” Said Nightmare coldly, Ivy then looked somewhat stunned and finished her breakfast quickly “ I will be gone by night then I will just need supplies.” She said coldly back to him. “then that’s all I need to keep you here.” Said Nightmare to himself mentally
Night time soon came and Ivy had gotten her supplies “I will be off now farewell and the next time we meet it will be the last.” Said Ivy walking out of the enterance Nightmare soon got up and followed her “What?” asked Ivy “I am going to show you a quicker way.” Said Nightmare leading her into the forest “this is called the dark forest due to it’s lack of light, but it’s not dark at all.” Ivy then stood closer to Nightmare hoping not to get lost “Everything has it’s secrets this forest is no different….Here we are.” Said Nightmare as they both stood in water “this isn’t a path what trickery is this?” asked Ivy preparing to take out Valentine “this.” Replied Nightmare kissing her on the lips. Ivy then dropped Valentine and was first surprised but then eased into the kiss making it more passionate. “ this was your plan all along wasn’t it?” asked Ivy as they broke apart “yes it was.” Replied Nightmare smirking he then felt valentine coil up around him and Ivy pulling them closer to each other as they began to kiss one another more passionately and with more need. The lake around then soon began to light up as fire flies began to appear slowly but soon everywhere lighting up the scene “ why are you doing this?” asked Ivy softy “because for my entire life I have been alone and you’re the only person who can understand me and because I think I love you.” Said Nightmare almost as if he was human and meant it Ivy then smiled at it “but you can’t love the monster can you?” asked nightmare looking at his hand “I am an abomination to the world everything I touch dies and the people I love are dead.” Ivy then used her hand to turn Nightmare’s face to her “some people are monsters wither it be inside or outside we just can’t let the monster win on the inside.” She then kissed him again “I Have wanted you for so long.” Said Ivy needly “I want you to be my first and only.” Nightmare then nodded and the two headed back to the cave.
