Chapter 3

Riku peeked open one of his heavily lidded eyes, sunlight streaming in bright rays through the cracked curtains. Riku groaned as he rolled over to hold Sora, only to find a cold, empty spot where the warm body should have been.

Riku sat up in his bed, looking around the room for a sign of the beautiful stranger he met last night. Nothing... all he could find was a note next ho his bed, written by Sora.

Dearest Riku,

Riku, last night was wonderful. Please don’t try to find me. Just live in my memory, you'll always be in my heart. Maybe one day we can meet again and we can hang out or something. I think we met by fate, and remember that even though I'm with another man, I still love you dearly, my friend.

Riku groaned as he laid back down on the soft mattress and wallowed for a few moments before getting up and dressing himself. He took the elevators down to the first floor, to be greeted by Leon and Cloud, hands on each other, making out like mad men. "Am I interrupting anything?"

Cloud's eyes peeked open as he pulled away from Leon. "Ah..." he stuttered with a deep blush on his face.

"Don't worry. I won't say a word. I'm just wondering where Sora went?"

"Oh... Sora... he left a few hours ago. He told me to give you this." Leon grinned pulling out a wad of hundred dollar bills. "Where did he get that kind of money?" Riku asked, grasping the money from Leon. "He went to our local bank and came back with it."

"I see. Alright... well... if you see him again, tell him Riku said hi alright?"

"No problem. Come back again Riku." Cloud smiled as he led him towards the door, opening it for him. "Yeah, thanks for everything guys. You can go back to what you were doing then." he winked, leaving them both blushing furiously.

-Three Years Later-

Sora smiled as he and his baby boy, Asaba walked along the streets of Paradise Island. "Daddy, daddy... can we go get ice cream please?" Asaba stared up at him with seagreen eyes. Rikus eyes. "Maybe later tiger. I gotta go run some errands first okay?"

Asaba frowned and pouted his baby lips, his silver hair gleaming in the morning light. "C'mon sweety, we gotta go take this to Mr. Sourpuss, then we can go to get some ice cream okay?" Sora grinned, making fun of his boss.

"Okay daddy. Let's go see the mean man sourpuss!"

"Sweety, just don't call him that in front of him okay?"

"Okay daddy!!"

-At the office-

"Your brat son just called me ‘Sourpuss’ Everheart! What the hell is wrong with him?!" His boss screamed in Sora's face as Asaba hid behind his father, sobbing into his gray slacks. "Everheart, YOUR FIRED!" he hollered as he slammed the door in Sora's face, making him reel back, carrying his bawling son with him.

"Shhh Asaba, its okay... it's okay baby..."

"But... but... I'm sorry daddy. I lost your job! WAHHH!!"

"Shh... it's alright, its alright... let's go get some ice cream okay baby?"

Asaba sniffled into Sora's shirt as he nodded lightly, being carried by his father.

Sora sighed heavily as he let Asaba down to the ground and held his hand, picking out vanilla and starfruit ice cream for Asaba and himself. "Sora... is that you?"

Sora sighed and turn around, face to face with Riku Hellion. "R-Riku... is it really you..."

"Yeah... how are you Sora?" he asked, smiling nervously.

"I-I'm doing fine. How about you?"

"I'm okay I guess. I got a job as a school teacher and I’m doing alright." he grinned as he finally noticed Asaba hiding behind his father. "And who would this be?" Riku asked, kneeling down next to the boy and holding his hand out.

Asaba peeked open one of this eyes and stepped out so that Riku could see him.

Riku's heart stopped in its tracks. "H-hi there..."

"Sora... why didn't you tell me... why?" Riku asked, looking down at his clone.

"I'm so sorry Riku... I just didn't want to bring more stress into your life. You were going through so much... and I thought this would probably make it worse. Riku... this is Asaba, your child."

It was a rainy night
