The flight from Tokyo to New York seemed to take forever in Jin's mind while he stared out the window at the clouds. It pained him to know that the one person who believed him when he had reached his lowest point in life was now suffering the same fate that he had once experienced. Krystal was the one who had stayed by his side those two long years, watching over him and protecting him...his guardian angel come to life. Now it was Jin's turn to watch over and protect her.
Reaching beneath his seat, Jin pulled out his black leather carry-on and unzipped it. After a few moments of digging, he pulled out a small photo album filled with pictures of himself and his best friend during happier times. A smile played across the young man's face as he studied a snapshot of Krystal in a lavender strapless formal gown. She had given him the picture after she discovered him staring at each time he came to visit her. Jin remembered that she never liked dressing up in formal attire to impress anyone...
