Fate In The Megaman X World
Chapter three: Unknown future
I thought I saw a man brought to life He was warm he came around like he was dignified He showed me what it was to cry
Well you couldn't be that man I adored You don't seem to know-or seem to care what your heart is for I don't know him anymore
There's nothin' where he used to lie My conversation has run dry That's what's goin' on
Nothing's fine I'm torn I'm all out of faith, this is how I feel I'm cold and I am shamed Lying naked on the floor Illusion never changed Into something real I'm wide awake and I can see the perfect sky is torn You're a little late I'm already torn
So I guess the fortune teller's right I should have seen just what was there and not some Holy light
But you crawled beneath my veins and now I don't care, I have no luck I don't miss it all that much There's just so many things
That I can't touch I'm torn I'm all out of faith This is how I feel I'm cold and I am shamed Lying naked on the floor Illusion never changed Into something real I'm wide awake and I can see The perfect sky is torn You're a little late I'm already torn
Torn
Ohh, ooh...
There's nothing where he used to lie My inspiration has run dry That's what's goin' on
Nothing's right I'm torn I'm all out of faith This is how I feel I'm cold and I am shamed Lying naked on the floor Illusion never changed Into something real I'm wide awake and I can see The perfect sky is torn I'm all out of faith This is how I feel I'm cold and I'm ashamed Bound and broken on the floor You're a little late I'm already torn
Torn
Oh, oh
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Tears dry on her face, soaking the white sheet beneath, Jen got up and walked to the window. The moon shone bright above like a brilliant crystal orb amoungst the glittering stars that littered the sky. Wiping her now crimson colored cheeks she looked up into the sky. The windy crisp air blew through her hair. She moved the golden strands aside and stomped her foot. Turning she went to take a shower.
X sat in his room reading a book when his mind unexpectedly drifted to the girl. She seemed sad and alone somehow but the biggest question on his mind was how she got here and why?!
Zero was just training with his sabre, thinking on the days events, the fight with vile, and then the girl, who was she really and why was she here? Suddenly the sign on his forehead began to glow, dropping his sabre, zero fell to the floor, his hands on his head while howling in pain. There it was again, the shadow, that man.
Jen walked out of the steaming shower, her hair wet, hanging at the sides of her neck and shoulders. Drops of moisture moved down her body. At a door sized mirror, she took the chance to really note the changes in her body, the same only aned. ed. Her hair was longer though and held a golden luster it hadn't had before. Her eyes sti still that sapphire blue but her chest grew heavy as she spotted the sadness in their depths.
Her heart grew so unbearable that she sank to the floor. Tears trickled down her moist flesh, mingling itself with the water.
She collapsed on the bed, not giving a thought to that she was nude under the sheet. Tears streamed down her cheeks till finally she felled into sleep from exaustion.
The next day
Her eyes fluttered open as she sat up, covering herself in a sheet, she lifted herself from the bed.
Donning her clothes she went to the bathroom, indeed she looked better today.
Her skin was back to it's creamy coloring, her hair and eyes held the luster it always possessed when she passed one of her depression episodes.
Stretching her limbs, she went to open the door when she heard a knock.
Wondering who it could be, she opened the door to see x standing there, a smile on his face.
Seeing his blue eyes and smile filled with warmth sent an unknown warmth through her veins and a rosy coloring to her cheeks
She was baffled.
" Hi. Are you okay?" x smiled, leading her out of the room.
" Yes, better today, thanks."
Jen and x walked down the hall, conversing, not knowing a pair of vicious eyes eyed them the entire way.
