Chapter Three

{Janos Audron}

Groggily Janos opened his eyes, expecting to see the faint
glow of his prison cell. But his bleary eyes didn’t focus on faintly glo
wa
walls or Hylden workers. Instead, they focused on a finely woven embroidered
pattern inches from his nose.

His head rested on a cushion covered in red fabric with a
golden trim and thin golden stitches that weaved together to make intricate
patterns. Hesitantly, he traced one with his talon, wondering why this cushion
was so hard, his sharp talon following the golden
thread gently.

The hard cushion he was resting on suddenly chuckled.

Janos jerked and looked up. Vorador was smiling at him as
he sat up. It dawned on Janos then that he’d been sleeping on his fledgling’s
chest. Vorador’s smile widened slightly as he reached out to run a talon
through Janos’ sleep bedraggled hair.

“How long have you been watching me?” Janos asked.

“Not long,” Vorador answered softly, trying to be
economical with the truth.

“How long did we sleep?” Janos asked, yawning slightly.

“You slept for about three hours,” Vorador smiled, sitting
up some and bringing his sire with him

“And you?” Janos raised a dark eyebrow.

“About half an hour,” Vorador answered. Janos sat up
straight, taller than his child, and opened his mouth to chide his fledgling
for not sleeping enough, but Vorador interrupted him. “I’ve missed you” he
whispered, silencing the elder easily.

Vorador leaned up, brushing his nose against his Sire’s;
Janos sighed happily and gently touched his mouth to his child’s before drawing
back again.

“I’ve missed you so much.” Vorador’s voice shook, almost
breaking. Janos wrapped his arms around his child, spreading his wings to
encircle them as well.

Vorador looked up and just stared at Janos for a few
moments before closing the gap between them, kissing his sire. Janos felt his
heart speed up just slightly in fear and had to consciously stop himself from
jerking back.

This is your child,
not the Hylden,
” his mind chanted over and over as the kiss was deepened.

Vorador shifted in his lap until he straddled his maker,
one arm reaching behind him, wrapping tightly around the bottom of his spine.
He purred into the kiss as the other talon wandered up into Janos’ hair,
clenching slightly in the black strands.

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12;fon;font-family:Verdana'>A talon
gripped his hair, pulling harshly; suddenly, he was kicked at the backs of his
knees, forcing him down on his front. Yet the grip on his hair kept his back
bowed, arched painfully, his wings scraping the floor as they beat helplessly.
His clawed hands scrabbled at the floor, leaving deep groves on the iron floor
of his cell.

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>Someone
punched him across his jaw sending his head snapping back.

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>His
wrists were gripped harshly and bound together. Someone slipped a large manacle
around his neck like a collar; it had a chain linked to it, making him appear
like a dog on a leash. The chain was linked to a ring in the floor and his
wrists were chained to it also. Someone pulled hard on the chain, causing him
to slam down hard, splitting his chain open on the hard ground. His entire
front body was held immobile.

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>His wings
spread again suddenly, defensive, throwing one of the Hylden backwards into a
wall, instantly he felt claws on them, holding them down as he thrashed. Then
more bonds were brought and his wings were bound together, held up in an
unnatural position and causing pain to shoot down his spine.

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>“That’s
enough, leave now,” a voice called. Janos, bound too harshly, was unable to see
whom it was, but he recognised the voice.

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>Suddenly
his legs were held still by one creature’s weight. He trashed as much as he was
able to as he felt that creature lie over him. He growled lowly.

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>“Now,
now, Janos, behave...” it chuckled, a low hissing sound. “We all know vampires
love this kind of treatment.”

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>He felt
it nuzzle against the back of his throat and felt its talons travel down his
sides; he bucked anew as he felt talons grip his waistband, pulling down. Then
the weight on him became heavier. He continued to thrash underneath the Hylden,
but he stopped however when he heard the monster on him purr, enjoying his
movement.

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>“That’s
it?!” the Hylden Lord asked, surprised, when Janos stopped moving. “No more
fight?” it tutted. “All you worthless scum are the same, you give up so easily.
Worthless, pathetic creatures.” It paused. “Or maybe
not, perhaps - ” a talon ran down the side of his face
“- perhaps you want this, you want it, like all the rest did.” The voice turned
from soft to venomous, “Vampire whore!”

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>It was
then that it struck him. It was useless, no matter how hard he struggled he
would not escape; he could only lie still and wait for
this to be over.

“Are you all right?” Vorador asked, breaking Janos’
thoughts, a talon resting on his Sire’s shoulder.

Janos jerked suddenly and struck out at his child, hissing
suddenly. He jerked backwards scooting off the bed. Vorador blinked, surprised,
then stood slowly, his talons held open.

“Janos,” Vorador whispered, confused and concerned.

Janos blinked as if only now realising where he was. He
looked at his child and felt blood tears prick at his eyes before he moved
forward, back into his child’s embrace.

“Are you all right?” Vorador whispered after a short time.
Janos nodded, but still he couldn’t stop from shaking, couldn’t stop the images
in his mind.

Vorador pulled him close and wrapped an arm around Janos’
waist while the other rubbed small circles on Janos’ back, below the wings.
Slowly, Janos calmed down. Vorador continued, trying to sooth his sire, but his
talon ghosted too close to the wings, causing Janos to shudder as tingles raced
across his form, making him whimper.

It had taken a few experiments, but the Hylden Lord had
eventually discover the area where his wings joined
his back and the effect it had on him to have the little space touched. It had
been exploited mercilessly.

“What did they do to you?” Vorador’s grip tightened on
him. “Please tell me.”

Janos swallowed. He did not want to tell his child anything
of what had happened, if only for the shame; it made him feel to be so easily
used so many times until his form had become to grotesque for even a Hylden to
touch. Vorador drew back and gazed at his sire, who could not meet his gaze. He
started to shake his head.

“Oh no,” he whispered, realising instantly. class=GramE>“Oh, Janos.” His grip tightened more so on his sire. “Oh,
Janos, I’m so sorry,” he whispered into his Sire’s hair.

They stayed that way for a short time, Janos’ mind racing
while his child’s was reeling. Slowly, Janos calmed completely. class=GramE>this
was not the Hylden Lord who held him now, this was his
child whom he loved. He would not allow the Hylden to do him any more damage.
He sighed; it was bad enough that he’d lived like that for nearly four hundred years.
But he was free now, he would not allow them to torture him any more, they
would not destroy his connection with his child.

Hesitantly, Janos tilted his head up and closed his mouth
over his fledgling’s. Nothing bad happened; he touched
Vorador’s mouth with the tip of his tongue and felt his fledgling smile
slightly and open his mouth, deepening the kiss. Still nothing happened, and
Janos felt himself relax.

This was Vorador, Vorador who loved him, his child, his
love, his only true companion throughout many, many years.

This was not the Hylden Lord.

Vorador drew back slowly and buried his face in the crook
of his sire’s shoulder.

“Are you sure?” he asked quietly.

Janos felt his breath catch in the back of his throat.
This was more care than he deserved. He suddenly had the urge to tell Vorador
all of what he had done, how he had destroyed so much, but the guilt was driven
down by the burning need that shot through him, and all his thoughts were
brutally hit with a tidal wave of lust.

“I love you,” he managed a smile; Vorador grinned and
pulled the two together.

“I’m going to have to remind you just how good this can
be,” Vorador whispered against his Sire’s shoulder.

Janos shuddered as he felt his fledgling’s hand move
gently across his back. He nuzzled at his child’s shoulder and arched slightly
when his child’s talons ghosted over the flesh where feather became flesh. He
felt a deep rumbling purr start in his throat and he smiled.

Janos drew back and blinked for a moment. Vorador looked
worried for a second, until Janos smiled at him again and brushed their noses
together. Vorador just stared at his Sire for a moment before taking his talon
back and running it down the side of his Sire’s face

“I can’t believe how much I’ve missed you,” Vorador said
suddenly, jerking forward, closing his mouth over his sire’s
in a desperate kiss, trying madly to convey all the frustration he felt, the
pent up lust and the giddy joy at having his sire back

font-family:Verdana'>

The heated desperate and demanding kiss caused Janos to
moan aloud. He felt his lust spike suddenly, he needed his child now! Right
now!

Janos twisted slightly in his fledgling’s arms. The
strange fear was still in him even now, but it was diminishing, his memories of
rape and pain being replaced by his memories of his child. Those memories only
made him burn more so, the heat inside him becoming almost unbearable. He cried
out when talons pressed hard against feather and flesh.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>

Almost timidly he reached down, ignoring the fear that
spawned anew from this act, talons hurriedly unbuckling his child’s trousers by
feel alone, desperate for the contact. He needed this,
he didn’t care what way it was done; all he knew was that it was needed. He
almost cried out again with the need for it.

Once the buckle on Vorador’s trousers was undone he busied
his talons on the many golden buttons on his child’s coat, hissing with
impatience. He jolted as his child stilled his hands and started undoing
buttons by himself, working with more speed than his Sire had been able.

It was almost as if Vorador had gotten this down to a fine
art, Janos wondered. The image of the beautiful fledglings in the main chamber
filled his mind and he felt a stab of jealousy. But he quickly crushed it.
Those fledglings had been used to sate his child’s need,
it was him who his child loved, not any of the others. Only he held Vorador’s
heart.

Noticing his child was done with his coat, Janos turned
again on the trousers; once the buckle was completely removed, he was forcing
his child out of the thin material. He needed to touch skin. He lowered his
head so it rested on his child’s chest and let out a deep sigh, wrapping arms
around Vorador’s back.

The fear was almost gone now, swallowed up by the need. He
simply held his child breathing in his scent, occasionally nuzzling at his
chest. It took him a few seconds to realise Vorador was pushing his own
trousers from him. Almost timidly, he allowed his clothing to be shed and
allowed his child to look at what he hadn’t been able to see in over four
hundred years.

He shuddered as eyes grazed over him. The fear sprang
back, but he squashed it. It was his child, his child, Vorador, not some Hylden
who would sneer cruelly at him. Vorador loved him.

“I had almost forgotten how beautiful you are,” Vorador
breathed, pulling them back to the bed, although the nearness of the floor was
tempting.

Once on the bed Vorador moved behind his sire, pressing
him down slightly. Janos caught himself on his arms as Vorador leaned down to
kiss the back of his Sire’s shoulders before working his way down. Janos almost
collapsed forwards when he felt cool talons push his wings apart and his child
kissed in between them. He shuddered, hearing a moan escape from his throat; he
felt his child smile against his back.

“I haven’t forgotten how much you like . . .” Vorador
leaned down and kissed the flesh and feather again harder this time, making
Janos arch, “ . . . that” he finished before gently
scraping fang over the sensitive flesh.

Janos arched again, this was completely different to the
hell he’d felt at the hands of his captors and he loved it. Fire shot from
every inch of skin Vorador touched, making him burn fiercely with need. He felt
his child press against his side, indicating for him to roll. He did so,
collapsing back onto his wings, feeling them open out beneath him.

Vorador smiled down at the desperate needy creature his
sire had become before leaning down to kiss him.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>

Janos mewled as Vorador moved down, closing a fanged mouth
around his left nipple, gently scraping fangs over the flesh before biting
down. He gasped harshly, he needed more, he needed
release right now. He glanced down at his child laving the abused skin and
reached down, talons cupping his child’s face.

“Please,” he whispered, “no play, finish me, please.”

Vorador smiled to him before gripping his hips and rolling
them both, so his sire was above him, understanding that lying on wings was
painful enough without another creature’s weight on them as well. He wrapped
his legs around his Sire’s hips and smiled, waiting.

His smile faded however at the look on his Sire’s face.
Janos glanced at him a moment and looked like the entire world had collapsed
around him.

“Sire?” he asked.

Janos blinked. His fledgling was willing to give him this,
after all he had done and he was still receiving beautiful gifts like this. He
shook his head and moved up slightly. Vorador took a sharp breath as he felt
his Sire’s entrance touch against him. He met Janos’ eyes questionably even as his
talons closed around his Sire’s hips.

“Like this?” he asked. Janos nodded and pressed down
suddenly. Vorador gasped as he felt himself slide inside a little; he growled
lightly at the sensation before pulling out. Janos glared at him but his eyes
fluttered shut as he felt a talon rub slowly over his entrance.

“I wont be one of those who hurt
you,” Vorador said slowly, his breath still coming in gasps despite not needing
to breathe as he went to slip a talon inside his sire.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>

“Then just do . . . it slowly,” Janos breathed, pushing
his child’s talon away. He wanted this now! He’d been taken to many times
without any sort of preparation by those who hated him, it was a pain he was
used to and it wouldn’t matter anyway. As long as it was his child he was with,
nothing mattered.

A deep growl escaped Janos as he was lowered slowly,
Vorador easing him down until they were joined. They stilled together, getting
used to the feel of each other that they had once been so used to. Vorador’s
head tilted backwards, his eyes tightly closed, Janos’ expression much the
same.

After a minute, Vorador opened golden eyes to look up at
his sire, who he found was looking down at him with undeniable affection. He
smiled up and moved his legs, bending his knees as Janos drew himself upwards.
Vorador gasped before trusting upwards, burying himself once more.

“Please,” Janos gasped; Vorador nodded and began to move
smoothly. Almost instantly Janos moved with him, and they had an immediate
rhythm, slow and gentle.

Vorador moved, sitting up, wrapping strong arms around the
lithe form of his sire as he continued their rhythm. Pale blue arms wrapped
around his shoulders and dark blue lips kissed a line down his throat. The
different angle stuck nearly perfectly inside Janos, making him shudder and let
loose half-moaned words. Seeing the reaction, Vorador smiled widely and sped up
a little.

He was still having trouble believing it really was his
sire, that this was not just some fantastic dream he had thought up in his
loneliness. He listened to the gasping breath of Janos, coupled with small
fragments of words. Other than that there was no sound save from the bed
springs creaking. /p>

Janos shuddered and fell back, collapsing once more onto
his wings, which creaked under the strain of his weight. But it didn’t matter.
He purred as this angle allowed his child to move faster and him to move his
hips meeting Vorador’s thrusts. It hit him perfectly.

>

Vorador groaned loudly, gripping pale blue hips hard with
emerald talons, pulling his sire back onto him time and time again, his speed
increasing. Both were groaning loudly, managing small words of desperation as
release came close.

“I love you,” Janos managed before he was swallowed by his
release.

Janos bellowed out his release, his back arching, wings
straining under the weight and pressure. Blue talons dug into emerald flesh as
he came with a force. Vorador, feeling his sire clench around him, gasped as he
tried to hold out against the torrent of sensation, but with one last trust he
came, buried deep inside his sire.

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>//**//**//

style='font-size:8.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>

“We should probably move,” Vorador spoke gently after a
few moments.

“Yes, the Scion will be arriving soon.” Janos nodded,
yawning widely, lingling against his child’s shoulder.

“What?” Vorador raised an eyebrow. Janos looked to his
child in question. “You’re talking about . . . Kain?” Vorador sniggered.

“Of course,” Janos spoke; he frowned at his child, who was
now sniggering more so.

“Seriously,” he laughed. Janos nodded; Vorador shook his
head, grinning, “Your people chose Kain to fight this great evil you so often
spoke of.” Vorador was grinning widely. “Good choice, you managed to find the
most insanity powerful and selfish creature on Nosgoth to save us all.”

“We did not choose Kain,” Janos muttered, “fate chose him,
he was born for this and he will fix things.”

“It was him who screwed them up,” Vorador snapped.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>

“He was . . . deceived by Hylden,” Janos mumbled.

“Are you saying this just because he had the Reaver?”
Vorador asked.

J fro frowned. He had not seen the reaver or felt it
presence, last he’d seen of the blade it had been in the hands of the Hylden
Lord. Vorador noticed the frown and spoke.

“Oh yes,” Vorador nodded, “Kain had the sword for quite
some time, but it was taken from him by the Serefan Lord. He is fighting to get
it back now. I do believe he cares more for that damn sword than he does for
most people.”

“If he has the sword, it only reinforces what I say,”
Janos whispered. Vorador looked at his Sire for a few minutes in silence before
he spoke once again.

“Fine, I’m not going to argue with you about this,”
Vorador relented eventually.

Janos sighed; he did not want to argue with his child, not
now. He smiled, nuzzling against his child.

“I’ll go see weather the wards are down,” he purred,
feeling his child shudder against him. He stood and walked over to the door.

“Where are you going?” Vorador asked.

“Rooftops, outside it is easier
from me,” Janos shrugged.

“One thing,” Vorador grinned widely.

“What?” Janos frowned at his child’s expression.

“Pants.”
