CHAPTER THREE: REPAIRS AND THE DREAM
The Vector ship had arrived. "Rain, Shriek, tell the captian I will be with them shortly, I have to get the VX-99999 from where I hid it." Faye said running off.
Rain nodded her head slightly, "Please, hurry." Faye ran to the boarding deck, and located a meteor approximatly 200kilometers away. Faye pulled out his portable U.M.N. and punched in a sequnce of buttons. A large crimson machine flew towards him, he jumped in, and secretly boarded the ship with ease. Faye scanned the A.G.W.S. Hanger as people guided him in.
"Wow you really did a number on that one..." an engineer spoke out examining the thrashed machine, "We'll work on it as soon as possible." Faye turned away and walked to where Rain was.
Rain spotted him, and ran towards him, "You know, before we dock at headquarters, yoouldould get some rest." Rain suggested.
"Yeah... I guess so, I'll be in my room if I am needed." Faye said walking to the elevator. The elevator stopped at the third floor, the dormitory. Faye entered his room, and laid on the bed, staring at the celing.
Faye waltzed through the brush of rich, lushious, pale blossums from the white blossom trees that surrounded him. A thick azure haze drenched the air. This place was serene and solmn. An ancient catheadral with massive doors stood infront of Faye, Faye approached the giant doors, and slowly opened them. The azure haze that had once doused the soothing wind, had vanished. A crimson sky with an eclipsed moon took it's place, feilds of black roses now littered sickly dead ground.. Faye looked around in a frightened movment. "Where... am I?" he wimpered under his breath still very scared.
"You're acting like such a child! Heh, and to think I actually believed you would have changed." A mysterious voice taunted from behind Faye. Turning around in a quick motion, Faye turned to see someone standing poised on a large cross tombstone. The enigma himself in a grimly black, reaper outfit. He held in his gfrasp a scyth, with an engraving of the anarchy symbol.
"Who are you?!" Faye burst out with rage and anger.
The hodded evil gazed at Faye through the darkness of his hood, pointing his malivalent blade at him, "I'm... your angel of death..."
Faye woke up breathing heavily, and in a momentary daze. "It's just.... it was just a dream...." Faye swalloed and looked around, "I'll check on the repairs...." Faye got up from the bed, and walked out of the room, still a little shaken.
He entered the hanger, "You sure beat the hell out of this thing." Shriek said with with sarcasm.
"This...is a result of a malfunion that occured when I powered up..." Faye whispered looking down, "I am just glad that is only need repair of armor and Ether circuits."
A rather large man stormed up to the two, "You get your scrony asses outta here, before I kick ya out! This ain't no place for you loosers!"
Faye smirked, "Well this looser is the owner of that A.G.W.S. you are working on." Faye pointed to the machine.
"Ugh... er... well Just stay the hell outta 're way!" the man choked.
Shriek glanced at Faye with a funny look, "That's a first.. never thought you would say something like that."
Faye turned away, "I just don't like some people..." Shriek caught up with Faye, they walked to the deck.
Shriek looked at Faye's turned back, "Now that we're alone, I need to ask you something." Faye said nothing, his back still faced Shriek. "Why did you really destroy the ship?"
Faye looked at Shriek, "I already told you, there were alot of Gnosis on the ship, I-I had to kill them before..."
Shriek interupted as he stood up and walked to the door, "You're not fooling anybody but that lovestruck girl with that story, I suggest you follow my lead, and go with the Gnosis destroying the ship infrnt of the counsel, when we arrive." Shriek said ominously.
