The way things are

A week passed and Tasha avoided going anywhere near camp as best she could. Not that she was avoiding people she told herself, she was avoiding trouble. Because once Imon read those notes trouble was the only word she could find that was not off the scale cussing. Within her mind the plan was slowly forming, she knew she needed to get to where he was being held but finding that place...that was the key.

The more she thought about it though the more she realised...to mount any kind of offensive against an army of trolls would require a lot of help. Help that she could not count on the army to provide. Oh if she asked they likely would...in their way. Trouble was their way wasn't what she wanted. She wanted her brother out and helped to regain his life. The army way would more than likelu be kill him and remove the threat. And that was not part of her game plan.

Tasha slipped into camp in the wee hours of the morning. It was silent, those here asleep, even the one nominally on duty was snoozing and she was able to reach the small tent she'd placed almost to the outskirks without being seen. She packed her few belongings and struck the shelter, saddling the zhevra and leaving the note she'd written for Imon in the folded hands of the guard...who was oblivious.

Who said rogues were the only ones could be sneaky?

And she left....the only things to show her even being there were the mark upon the ground where her tent had been, and her tabard neatly folded.

She began to travel, moving ever closer an area called Zul'Drak. A place apparently known for two things...Scourge and Trolls. Nighttime being as dangerous as day for travel she began to vary her sleep times, a few hours awake and then finding a safe looking place to rest. More than once she'd had to clear a place of those wishing her harm before she could sleep more than a few minutes.

Finally she paused...on the edge of Crystalsong forest, on the stairs overlooking the territory known as Zul'Drak. Looking out accross the landscape she tipped her head back and yelled at the top of her lungs.

"Ah come fer mah brudda, ah take 'im 'ome...and ah kill any dat stand 'tween us!!"
