Ash and Misty register going to register but there was only sixteen in tournament and all have gave a qualifying before enter the tournament. A boy meet there introduces himself as Marcellus and asks if any of them would battle, or train for a while, Misty accepts. Both get ready, Marcellus sends out Remoraid and Misty calls upon Corsola. Marcellus commands Remoraid to use Water Gun, which Corsola counters with Mirror Coat, knocking back the Remoraid but not knocking it out. Marcellus tells Remoraid to use another Water Gun and this time it knocks Corsola out. Remoraid then evolves into Octillery. Marcellus thanks them and heads off. The next day, the matches are quick to end. On Ash's side, it was Totodile vs Seel followed by Totodile vs Shellder, while Misty's was Corsola vs Seaking and Poliwhirl vs Magikarp. After easily winning they go Pokemon Centre where they found Marcellous but he was sad. The matter is his have Remoraid Team and Octillery found alone then suddenly Team Rocket Attack but Octillery blast them by Octabooza and the one Remoraid evolve into Octillery and now they not alone. The next day, the finalist Trainers await at a cliff to watch the Whirl Cup Stadium, partially flooded, rise. It looks like the real battle just begun. The day starts of Whirl Cup Competition every Trainers and People watch Maya The Sea Priestess of the Whirl Islands, responsible for keeping the culture and tradition of the Whirl Cup alive. The prize given to the winning Trainer is a pendant that helps the Water Pokemon who wears it. The way the Whirl Cup tournament goes is a two ‘block’ division, Ash and Misty are in block ‘A’. The round of Block A pits Ash against Christopher. Ash uses Totodile for this round and his opponent calls out Kingdra. Kingdra counters with a Twister or Totodile snaps out of it and lands on one of the platforms. After that Kingdra shoots a Hydro Pump at Totodile, but Totodile simply walks along the water. Kingdra releases a Smoke Screen that covers up the water. Ash tells Totodile to jump out of the water. Trainer tells Kingdra to jump up and try another Hydro Pump. Ash tells Totodile to use Bite on Kingdra, aiming for the snout. Totodile is successful and plugs up Kingdra's snout causing all the water to hold back. After a while Totodile releases and Kingdra goes flying across and eventually getting knocked out and Ash win. The second round wins someone. The third round of Block A has Misty battling Harrison. The match is on, Corsola against Qwilfish. Qwilfish begins the match by shooting a Water Gun but Corsola reflects it back with a Mirror Coat. Qwilfish soon releases Pin Missile and so Corsola counters with Spike Cannon. Corsola get down and Qwilfish attack by Take Down then Corsola used Recover. Qwilfish is stuck on Corsola's head and can't do much about this so it just swims around. Misty finally gets an idea and tells Corsola to use Spike Cannon. Corsola fires the Spike Cannon sending Qwilfish sky-high, Misty winning the match. It looks like Ash and Misty were always destined to fight one way or another and that fate meets in the twelfth round of Block A. This time, whoever wins will be in the semi-finalists, and neither will want to lose. Next day match will begin between Ash and Misty. Ash said "Misty I am thinks I lose the match". Misty asked "Why you lose the match? Why?" Ash replied "Because, you only help me and in against you not want anything then it time for you". Misty slaps Ash "If you lose the match, then I kill you, you do battle with honesty". Ash said "Ok, I do my best" he thinks 'but I lose the match'. "Yes, you will do battle with honesty" Sakura added. Ash tossed two Pokeball, it reveal the Totodile and Vaporean. "Both have clearly heard, in tomorrow battle, you both have ignored to battle in front of everyone, because I want to Misty win the battle and became the Champion of Whirl Island" both Vaporean and Totodile nodded. Battle start, Misty choose Poliwhirl, Ash choose Totodile. Like Ash said, Totodile ignore to battle and sleep on the battlefield. As a rule, Totodile decide to be defeated. Same Vaporean do, or as result Misty goes in final. But many of people laughing on Ash, because his both Pokemon ignore him. One trainer come to Ash "Hey kid, I think you give me your Pokemon, because you not know to take care them". "Sorry but I am not like your idea" Ash said. "Then, I take by forced you, Gyarados come out" the trainer said with releasing his Pokemon. Pikachu jump from his shoulder and jump front of Gyarados, he release the massive thunder and jump back on Ash's shoulder. Everyone noticed Gyarados is fainted in one attack, they realized, if his Pokemon do battle, then what happened. Ash come back to his friends. Misty attacking on Ash by punches or kicks. Ash asked "Ouch, why you kick me?" Misty shouted "WHY YOU LOSE MATCH". Ash replied "I am want to battle you, but my Pokemon ignore to battle and fall sleep". Misty said "Don't make me fool, I easily catch your lie" she again kick him. Ash said "Ouch, I am sorry, but I want you win, I have many times to win". Misty is angry "WHY YOU LOSE, YOU NOT KNOW HOW I FEEL, WHEN YOU LOSE THE BATTLE AND EVERYONE WAS LAUGHING ON YOU, YOU never know it" she said and again hit the Ash, he fall on ground then Misty run toward him "Ash, you okay, okay Ash". He replied "Ya, I am okay". Misty said "Sorry, I hit you badly, but its your fault you make me angry, everytime I forced you for many things because I love you, I love you very much, if you lose then I lose, if you win then I win". Ash said "I know, but same as me, I want you win every battle, or become a Water Pokemon Master".
