The Superior Vampire
The bitter cold wind howled, whipping snow around in a complete white out. Against the night, painting everything white. The bandit patrolling above the gate, of the run down fort. Couldn't hear a pin drop in this wind, or could he hear. A predator approaching, with the speed and quietness of a saber cat. His head goes rolling as a blade, slices through the. Muscles, tendons, blood vessels, and bones of his neck. Leaping down and landing behind another bandit carrying a battle axe. Without a sound, pale white hands reached around the. Redguard's neck, needle sharp fingernails dug into his throat. Blood spilling from the wounds as the hand, closed around his windpipe. Swiftly Jerking and ripping out the fleshy tube. The man dropped to his knees, gurgling his pain the axe clanking as he hit the ground. Alerting the female archer a couple yards ahead. Seeing a faint figure through the snow, the archer. Knocks an arrow, takes aim. The figure ducks down as the arrow is loosed, the archer's eyes widen. As she sees an ice spike flying at her, from the darkness behind the figure. The ice spike impales the archer's head, dropping her without a sound. The rest of the bandits standing guard outside. Met their ends pretty swiftly also.
Inside the fort, a big, blonde nord. Sits on a rickety old chair by a fireplace, fighting his sleep. Not even hearing the wind blowing in, as the door opened. It wasn't until the back leg of the chair, was snapped off. That he finally woke up, as he tumbled backwards. He got to his feet, just as a cross bow bolt. Impaled his left shoulder, and ice spike in his right nailing him to the wall. Groaning loud from the pain, the only things he saw. At dimly lit door were two female shaped silliohettes, and two pairs of glowing crimson eyes. Suddenly the two stepped into the light. The tall red head in the ancient nord armor he's heard of. The one named the Dragonborn by the gods, Arya by her parents. She was beautiful like he had heard, with a strong, curvy body. That brought down trolls, giants and dragons. Full, firm, round, large breasts under brown leather armor. But something was off about the Dragonborn, her skin seemed paler than he heard. Not like a sickly pale, but her skin obviously lacked some color. Same with the slightly smaller woman with short dark hair. Who wore an outfit he never seen before. When the Dragonborn approached, he seen what was different about her. As her luscious lips parted, revealing her white teeth and two fangs in a sinister, but alluring smile.
"You're vampires." The nord said, his voice trembling as he knew his fate. Even though he knew the heroine of skyrim and her companion. Were creatures of the night, and fear gripped his heart. He couldn't take his eyes off the red head's. Her crimson iris's seemed to lock him in a trance. Everything around her, except her friend seem to go dark. His own fear seeming to fade into a longing. Never had he seen such beautiful creatures in his life. His blood seem to boil in his veins, for the women. Strangely he thought he could hear a soft, female voice in his mind. Soothing him, comforting him, seducing him. He heard of vampiric seduction, but experiencing it was frightening and amazing at once. Arya approached her prey on the left, Serana on the right. The smell of healthy, warm, nordic blood was hypnotic to the senses. Gently putting a hand behind his head, Arya leaned into his neck. Serana did the same, the two vampires sunk their. Teeth into his warm flesh, the pain felt strangely pleasurable under the trance. When blood entered Arya's mouth, the taste was intoxicating. Swallowing down the warm, bitter sweet life of the nord. Filled Arya's senses with addicting euphoria. Every nerve in her body tingled, her nipples under her armor. Stiffened against the leather, making her moan into the bleeding neck. Arousal rose in her loins, making her breathing quicken. Arya's hand reached for her breast, squeezing the soft mound. In her hand, through the leather of her armor. She wandered if Serana felt the same thing. As the two women locked eyes, while drinking their fill. Every sense her body heightened even more so. Hearing, smelling everything in and outside the fort for a mile. She could sense every living creature around, even the Orc bandit chief. Coming to investigate the noise, with his great sword in hand. His eyes widen when he sees vampires feeding, on one of his men. Going into the typical orc berserker rage, he charged forward. With speed and fury that would frighten the most experienced warrior. Arya though wasn't the typical warrior, she anticipated this reaction. Quickly moving out of the way, as the orcish great sword. Whipped by her head, parrying to the left. Her sword in hand, Arya easily blocked the next attack. Then countered with a left hook to the orc's jaw. Normally in berserker rage, he wouldn't of felt that. But this human packed a serious punch, one that rung his bell a little. Arya made a move of her own, one the experienced orc. Had trouble blocking in time, this human's speed. Was as impressive as her strength.
"Aww finally a worthy challenge." The orc said.
"Are you sure you're up to the task?" Arya said.
"We shall see." The orc said. Swinging the heavy sword at Arya's legs. Again she blocked the attack, steel grinding on steel. As she pushed the bigger sword up, leaving the bandit chief open. Arya quickly sliced back down, in between the two pieces of plate armor. Slicing the orc's shoulder tendons. Losing control of his arm, he dropped the sword. As he watched the skyforge blade coming back. Slicing open his throat, bringing him to his knees. Blood gushing from the wound, gurgling as he fell to the side. Spilling blood in a pool all over the stone floor. While he still gurgled on the floor, Arya approached.
"You were an honorable enemy. I give you a death Malacath would be proud of." Arya said, plunging her sword through the arm hole of his breastplate. Through his heart, ending his life quickly and painlessly. It was a death she gave to all her respected enemies. Those she didn't respect, got the opposite.
"A much better death than my father will get when we get to the castle." Serana said. "What should we do with him?"
Arya pulled her sword from the orc, and looked at Serana and her nord meal. Who was showing signs that, their spell had worn off for now.
"Am I a vampire now?" He said, his voice sounding tired from blood loss.
"No, a bite doesn't turn you. Ingesting vampire blood does." Arya said, as she sheathed her sword. Stepping towards Serana and the nord.
"Will you turn me, rather than kill me? I will serve you ladies well." He said.
"Should we turn him?" Serana asked rethortically. Arya approached the man, still nailed to the wall by the bolt, the ice spike had melted away.
"No I don't want milk drinkers who beg for their lives, serving me. I want those with a back bone." Arya said, with a cold stare. Grabbing his head, with both hands with a quick twist she snapped his neck. The lifeless body hit the floor as she pulled her bolt from his shoulder. Replacing it back in her pouch, before the two got back on their horses. And continuing onto castle Volkihar.
The big heavy double doors opened, letting in a gust of snow and wind. As the two women entered, the taller one. Carry Ariel's bow in a scabbard on her back, along with a quiver of sunhallowed arrows. Nobody in the main hall doubted what was about to happen. Only one thing was certain, today everything changes.
Stepping through the doors of the cathedral, both expecting what they saw. Harkon in his vampire lord form.
"Serana I see you still favor on keeping a pet." He said, his voice echoing with demonic power. "You disappoint me Serana. Throwing all I have provided you for this pathetic half breed vampire."
"Provided for me? The only thing you've provided is driving my mother away. Murdering other vampires all for a prophecy we barely understand." Serana snarled, pulling her dagger. "No you will not touch her!
"Your voice drips with the vile influence of your mother, how alike you've become. And you," Harkon said, pointing a talon at Arya, "I suppose I have you to blame for turning my daughter against me. A rebellion born from your ambition over your loyalty." He said.
"No Harkon a rebellion born from your neglect. Serana chooses her own path, as do I." Arya said, with the bow in her hand.
"Hmm, I'll give one chance to hand that bow over. If you refuse I will enjoy prolonging your deaths." Harkon said, as Arya quickly loaded an arrow. Firing it into Harkon's chest, inches from his heart. The flesh sizzling and charing around the shaft of the arrow. She loaded another, firing. The arrow missing his head. Harkon growled as he came up and back handed Arya. The stone railing of the upper walk way, over the door. Shattered as Arya crashed into it, bouncing off and landing. Chest first to the floor with bone breaking force. Arya quickly got to her feet, with her sword in her hand. Harkon lunged into his next attack, razor sharp talons. Slicing the air, as Arya parried around the attack. Slicing his side open. Harkon snarled in pain, a few drops of blood. Hit the floor as the wound, quickly started to heal. Spinning around faster than Arya could react, he grabbed her by leather pieces on her chest. Swinging her off her feet and tossing Arya like a toy. She slammed into one of the stone pillars, then to the floor. Serana let loose at rapid series of ice spikes, impaling her father's back. Harkon looking back at his daughter, cast a conjuring spell. Causing a gargoyle to spawn in front of Serana. With Harkon distracted, Arya let out a fire breath shout. Then her unrelenting force shout. Flames seared Harkon's vampire skin, as the second shout. Sent him crashing into a wall, Arya leaped up into the air. Her sword over her head, point aiming down. Landing on his shoulders and driving the sword with all her weight. Through his collar bone, the tip running through and coming out the base of his back. Arya did a back flip back onto the floor, as blood spurted. Around the sword lodged in Harkon's body, Harkon growling from the intense pain. Arya quickly brought out her crossbow with one hand, and fired a bolt. That hit Harkon under the chin, stopping deep in the roof of his mouth. Tossing the empty weapon aside, Arya jump and rolled. For Ariel's bow, getting the shiny weapon in hand. Knocking two glowing arrows and letting them loose. Hitting her target twice in the chest. The arrows burned Harkon's insides with pure sunlight. A third arrow hit him through neck, just as finally pulled the sword from his body. Tossing the blade to the floor with a loud, metallic clank. Harkon's body bursts into a swarm of bats. Serana had just put down the gargoyle, as his body. Reappeared over the Molag Bol, altar with an aura of energy around him. Both female vampires could feel his strength rebuilding. Arya loaded an arrow and fired, the arrow of pure sunlight. Pierced the aura of dark energy, and hit Harkon in the sternum.
"Cover me!" Arya yelled, tossing the bow and quiver to Serana.
"I don't know how to use this!" Serana said, as Arya hunched over. Her form going black, then in an explosion of blood. A pair of big, black wings resembling Alduin's. Explodes from her shoulder blades, horns similar looking as the feared dragon. Formed out of the skin on her skelp. The wings dwarfed Harkon's considerably more, and looked like actual wings. Not the shriveled up flaps of skin and bone, like Harkon's. The rest of her form looked the same, except she was naked. The other differences were the talons on her hands looked more, those of a dragon. Her feet took on a different shape as well, her heel came up off the floor six inches. Her feet taking a dragon appearance, only fitted to her form. Her eyes now glowed with the firey glow of dragon's. Arya looked more like her name sake, Dragonborn. Part mortal, part immortal. Neither Serana or Harkon had seen her vampire lord form before. Both looked more than confused.
"What's the meaning of this?!" Harkon snarled.
"I'm Dragonborn Harkon. An immortal soul, within a mortal body. Now that I have an immortal body, things have kind of changed. An immortal soul now joined with my immortal body." Arya said, with a wild smile as pure power surges through her body. "The look, well that's because I slayed Alduin a while ago. The World Eater, wasn't like other dragons. He was the son of Akatosh, the offspring of a god. When I slayed him, I didn't devour his soul like lesser dragons. The way it was explained to me, is his soul. Lives within mine, free to fly the skies of my soul. Eager to stretch his wings again, which just happen to belong to me now." Arya said. "Who's the superior vampire, Harkon?!"
Harkon roared like a saber cat, and charged Arya. Who's roar shook the very foundation of the castle. Swinging an upper cut to Harkon's jaw as he charged her. Launching into the ceiling, Arya caught him on the way down. Feeling so much power pulsing through her, she swung Harkon around like a rag doll. Letting go and sending him crashing through the back wall. Out into the cold wind outside, Harkon stunned by the blow. Bounced like a ball as he hit the rocky ground below. With a push of her wings, Arya flew out of the busted wall and. Dived down out Serana's sight, who still couldn't believe what just happened. Every vampire in the court, heard what happened. Ran into the cathedral, to find Serana alone and. A gaping hole in the side of the castle. Serana and the court ran to look out the hole, unable to see anything in the snow. This didn't effect the ability to hear, as the two vampires went at it down below.
On the ground Harkon fired a blood spell at Arya. Arya ducked under the red ball of magicka, and let out a power of he own. Shouting a ball of fire, that hit with an explosion. Blasting Harkon against the rocky cliff, that held the castle up. Harkon stumbled to his feet, his skin crackling from the fire shout. Arya pushing with her wings, lunged forward and landed a punch to his jaw. She could hear bones breaking under his skin. As the blow spun him around, sending him rolling. He got back up and clawed open her bare chest. Bloody claw marks across her breasts, revealed hard, black dragon scales deep under the flesh.
"Abomination!" Harkon spits.
"Yes Harkon that's what you are. Me I'm the offspring of a god." Arya said. "With the power of a god!" She yelled, then shouted towards the sky. The sky grew dark, and sinister with black clouds. Just a bolt of lightning struck Harkon, sending electricity. Pulsing through his body. Rain began to pour down on them, more lightning struck Harkon.
"ODAHVIING!" Arya shouted to the sky. Raining down non stop bolt through his vampiric body. Arya picked up the convulsing vampire lord. Flew up, and flung him into the side of the castle. Harkon bounced off the thick stone wall, falling back to the ground. He's hit by an upper cut to the jaw. Sending crashing into the side of the bridge, at the front gate. Harkon landed in the brook, flowing under the bridge. Forcing his broken, tired body to its knees. Catching his breath, as the female vampire lord/dragon. Landed nearby, Harkon put up hand. Like was yielding, Arya kept advancing towards him. Too pumped with bloodlust, to listen to any pleading for mercy. As she got close, Harkon growled as he stood up with a punch of his own. Arya crashed into a pile of rocks. The front gate opened ad the court gathered outside, to watch the fight. With Arya on the ground, it looked like Harkon had the upper hand.
Harkon charge forward, as Arya grabbed a large rock. Hurling at Harkon, the rock smashed with bone. Crushing force into his head, then another putting him into a daze. Arya didn't waste a second, as charged Harkon. Moving so fast, all that could be seen was a. Blur as flew towards hit him up into the air. A terrifying roar split the howling wind like a whip. As Arya followed Harkon's body up, as he neared the end of his flight up. Arya hit him back down, just as a red dragon. Dived down and back up, catching the vampire lord in its jaws. Teeth like swords clamped down on his chest and legs. Crushing the bones, piercing the heart, and lungs. The dragon landed on the ground, swung his large head to the right and. Spat Harkon's broken body at the side of the watch tower, near the boat dock.
Arya landed gracefully in front of Odahviing.
"Thank you for the assistance, my friend." She said to the red dragon.
"Anytime Dovakiin. Now I retire while you claim your lordship." The dragon said, before flying up and disappearing into the stormy night.
Arya walked over to Harkon, his body broken, bloody, but still alive. His bones unable to support his weight, his body unable to move. All he could do is look up at the woman who defeated him. Wheezing, gurgling up mouthfuls of blood. Arya approached him, Serana and the court. Approaching her, as Arya looks down ar Harkon. Confused at what she's seeing, he should be dead. Unless vampire lords can't be killed.
"Vampire lords like Harkon, must be beheaded to be killed." Garon Morrethi said. Arya looked back down at Harkon. Putting a foot on his chest, Arya grabbed his ponytail, with a quick jerked she tore off his head. Blood spilling out onto the rocks from the dead undead body. Blood dripping from the severed head as she held it up. For the whole court to see.
The head and body slowly crumbled into piles of red ash. Serana stood looking at Arya, as the court. Bowed to one knee, lowered their heads.
"Lord Arya. Blood Countess." Each said, even the arrogant Vingalmo. Arya slowly returned to her normal form, with even her armor intact.
"It's done, finally. It's hard to believe after all these years." Serana said, stepping up to the ash as it blew away in the wind.
"Milady, I'm sorry for your loss." Garon Morrethi said, his head lowered to Serana.
"It had to be done Garon, for the good of all vampires." Serana said.
"What happens now?" Arya said.
"You're Lord of the Court, we do whatever you wish." Garon said.
"I think we should rebuild. Make this court stand for something again." Serana said.
"I'm not a politician Serana." Arya said.
"No. You're a leader." Serana said. Arya walked over to Serana, putting a hand on her shoulder and. Looking the brunette in the eyes.
"Only if you're by my side." Arya said.
"Of course, I wouldn't have it any other way. Two against the world." Serana said, with a proud smile.
"As long as we live." Arya said. Turning and going back into the castle, before the sun rose. Serana by her side, and her very own kingdom behind her.
