Ok so I know I just posted the first chapter yesterday, but like I said in that one...the story has been stuck in my head for awhile, and until I get it out of ‘paper’ it won’t let me work on anything else...damn muses...

Chapter 2



Dante left Nero after showing him where he would be sleeping, and headed back downstairs to his desk. Something just didn’t seem right to him with the whole situation. Why was the kid so depressed? What happened in Fortuna? Wasn’t the kid with that girl who sang for the church? There were just so many questions, and Dante had no answers for any of them. He really wanted to ask Nero for the truth, but he figured now wasn’t the right time, so he figured he would let the kid get some sleep, and he would talk to him in the morning.



That decided, Dante finished the pizza that he had left sitting on his desk. He vaguely heard Nero walk into the bathroom upstairs and start the shower.
