"I walk in to your office to see if you wanted to have lunch with me and I find out that you're leaving us!" Shouted Kairi as she talked to the blond.

"Jeez you want to yell any louder? I don't think the rest of the town heard you."

"Oh sorry." She said with embarrassment.

After finding out that he was going to work for Destiny Studio, Cloud went back to his studio to develop some film that he needed for a new project he was working on. He had spent the rest of the evening working in silence when his cheerful friend Kairi came in and asked him to lunch with her. Not really the type to reject a girl, Cloud decided to tag along and the two went to a small sandwich shop. Before Cloud had even a chance to actually sit down and take a sip from his drink, the young girl started demanding answers from him. Apparently it was only a matter of seconds before the news of him working at Destiny Studio traveled from the top floor of the company to all the way down to the 1st floor. He was hoping to relax during lunch, but that was thrown out the window.

"You're so lucky!" Squealed Kairi. Destiny Studio was a not only a modeling agency but they also produced there own clothing and magazine line, which happened to be her favorite things.

"I guess." He responded nonchalantly.

"You guess? What the hell's wrong with you?! Do you not know who you're going to be working for?!"

"More or less."

"Ugh! That's so like you! Mr. I-don't-care! Not only your going to be with a great company but your going to be around designer clothes. Clothes you get to see before they even come out. Articles from talented writers that you get to read before others. Not only that but you get to be around hot, gorgeous people!"

"Yeah I'm only there to take pictures. Not drool over there products." Most of Destiny Studio's models were male. Very often do you see there entire magazine's dedicated to there female models. In fact, most of there fan club was full of girls. Girls who wrote to there studio drooling over there models.

Being around hot, gorgeous people was not one of the things Cloud was looking forward to. At first he wasn't looking forward to leaving his job but after hearing Kairi describe the many things his new company was capable of doing, working there sounded all right for his tastes.

After hearing the girl talked for non stop, Cloud was able to get 15 minutes to himself as he paid, ordered, and ate his food. Then it was back to hearing her voice, which was starting to get really annoying to him. When they were done with there meal, they left the little sandwich shop and walked back to work on a slow pace.

"So I take it that when you become a famous photographer, you'll forget about your old job huh?" Said Kairi as she kicked a random pebble while they were walking.

"Never." Cloud stopped walking and faced her. "How could you even say that? We've know each other for how long?"

"You're right. That was a silly thing to say. Sorry I said that." She said with shame as she remembered that Cloud was her friend. "After all...our hearts our connected." She said with a smile.

"Yup. Now if we take any longer, we'll be late to work."

He was a big softie when it came to girls crying. No matter who or why, he just hated to see a girl cry. He hated seeing a girl die before his very eyes than seeing her sad and miserable.

When they got back from lunch, Cloud walked Kairi to her desk and then went to his. Back at his studio, Cloud was working on a project from a small company that was asking for some of his help. When companies came to him for help, they were always asking for him to send them pictures of his best work that represented there company in the best way. The company that was asking for his help was a small company that had just started out and was asking him to send photos of there cars he had taken. Gummi enterprises was there name. About a month ago they called Radiant Films and asked the blond to come over to there industry to take photos of there new line of cars they were trying to sell. Now it was time for him to send the develop pictures of the ones that he thought represented the company well, and hope that he was able to improve there market. Sometimes he was able to help businesses, sometimes he wasn't.

He spent the rest of the day developing pictures and sending the ones that needed to be shipped out. Every once and a while a worker from a different department needed him to run a small errand or needed to borrow some camera equipment. Around 8 he left the studio and headed home. It was another long and busy day for him as he walked home in the cool weather.

When he walked in his apartment he went to his bedroom to change into his Pj's. He had a long and annoying day and being comfortable was the 1st thing on his mind. Over the past weekend he had eaten quick and easy meals. As much as he wanted to just be lazy, he walked to the kitchen and made some spaghetti. It wasn't something major, but it kept him from looking like a lazy bum. Cloud wasn't really in the mood to watch tv while he ate his supper, so instead of sitting in front of the tv, he sat at the dinning room table. Hating silence, he turned on the radio in his living room and left it on an enjoyable station. After he was done with his dinner, he placed his dishes in the sink and was about to walk away until he realized he hadn't washed them for about a week.

"Damn." He cursed himself as he grabbed a sponge and started to wash his dishes. Washing dishes was never his favorite chore growing up. He hated it back then and he hated it even more now. Especially since this was something he had to do since he lived on his own. When he was done with his chore, he decided to take a shower since he was already wet.

"Ahh I needed that." He said while he was drying his hair with a towel. Taking a hot shower was something that helped him relaxed. When he was done with his shower, he went over a few photos he had brought home. Xemnas had asked his opinion about these photos he was about to send to a company and wanted to make sure they were perfect. He spent an hour looking at them and released a yawn as he looked at the clock.

"10:00 PM. Time for bed." Staying up during the week was not a good thing for him. Especially when he had to wake up early and was paying for it by catching up on some sleep during his breaks.

"Congratulations my boy!" Said Merlin as he embraced the blond in a hug. Merlin worked in the shipping department and was in charge to make sure that all of there projects were mailed to the right destination. Every once in a while Cloud would be asked to run something over to there department and Merlin would always be there to greet him. There was never a time where Cloud didn't receive a hug from the elder. The two would catch up on each other and talk for a little while before it was time to get back to his department. In a way Merlin was like a grandfather to him. He always looked out for him and he loved seeing him.

"Thank you Merlin." Said Cloud as he returned the hug.

"Promise me you'll come and visit me."

"Of course. I promise."

"Don't forget about me to!" Shouted Kairi as she walked up to hug the blond.

"I won't."

Today was Friday and it was Cloud's last day at Radiant Films. So after work, Xemnas threw him a big going away party. The blond was expecting his boss to throw him a party but not a big one. There was everyone that worked in his department that was invited and few others he knew pretty well. They were all here to wish him good-bye.

"Cloud." Approached Xemnas.

"Yes sir?"

"My good man. Its been good having you work for me. If something happens to you and you feel the need to come back here, they'll always be a job waiting here for you."

"Thank you...Xemnas." Smiled Cloud.

The rest of the night was spent celebrating the young blond. Around midnight everyone started to leave and say there final good-byes to Cloud. Before he was allowed to leave, everyone made sure that they had his cell number and that he had everyone's number to.

On the weekend, Cloud spent most of it at home. He wasn't really in the mood to go anywhere. He only went out to the grocery store to by some food for the week and other things he needed to last him. But other than that he spent it lying around his apartment.

"Tomorrow I start my new job." He whined as it was starting to get late. Meeting new people was something that was very hard for him. For some reason he just had a tough time approaching others. It was amazing that he was able to meet and have the friends that he has. How he managed to do that, he didn't really know.

"Might as well go to bed now." It was only 10:00 PM. But he had to get up early to meet his new boss and to find the place. Luckily it wasn't very far from where he lived, so he could walk. Turning off his bedroom lights, Cloud snuggled under the blankets and went to bed.


"It should be around here." Cloud said as he looked for the building. From what he was told, it was on Moogle street. Well he was on Moogle street but no Destiny Studio's. The blond was starting to get annoyed at his sense of direction and didn't really feel like asking for help. On the verge to give up, Cloud continued to walk down the same street until he came to a dead end with a building at the end of it. For being at a dead end this building was gigantic. "Destiny Studio's" the sign read. Cloud felt like slapping himself in the face for not noticing it earlier.

"Excuse me, can I help you?" Asked the secretary at the front as he walked in.

"Yes my name is Cloud Strife and I'm suppose to meet with Sephiroth."

"Oh yes. He's expecting you. If you go down this hall and take the elevator all the way to the top floor. Once you're at that floor you'll see a door at the end of the hall. Just walk up and knock on the door. I'll inform him that you've arrive."

"Thanks...I guess." He said as he walk towards the hall she was pointing at.

'Sounds like a busy man. Wonder what he looks like?' Cloud followed the instructions he was given and made it to the top floor. The hall was pretty much empty. There were no secretary's running around, or other workers assigned to this floor. As he walked down the quite hall, he saw doors on each of his sides and wondered if anyone used them. When he reached the door he needed, Cloud was nervous as he raised his hand to knock on the door. He felt like going home but knew he couldn't do that.

"Enter." Said a dark and manly voice after he knocked. Cloud opened the door to a big office. It was way bigger than his last boss and had a lot of expensive items. On the walls were paintings that looked like there were from different countries. To Cloud it looked like they may even be the originals. On his left side there was a cabinet that was full of many vases. Keeping his hands to himself seemed like a good idea to him. Just a few feet in front of him was a simple couch, one across from the other, while a long coffee table was in the middle.

'Impressive.' He said to himself. After checking out the office, Cloud finally turned his gaze to a huge desk that was filled with paper work. At the head of the desk was his new boss, Sephiroth. The man watched him with those piercing aqua eyes. His eyes never left his face. Sephiroth's gaze was to strong for the blond that he started to squirm a little. Trying to avoid eye contact, Cloud looked the rest of Sephiroth over and noticed that he had long silver hair. Call him strange, but Cloud felt like he could lose himself in the man's hair. The urge to actually reach out and touch it was strong. As for what he was wearing, Sephiroth was wearing a navy blue suit, that seemed to bring out his light tan skin color. To Cloud, Sephiroth didn't look old at all. He looked way younger than Xemnas.

"If your done staring, I take it that your Cloud Strife."

"U-um yes sir." Blushed Cloud as his new boss caught him staring.

"I was going over your file. I asked Xemnas to give it to me and he spoke very highly of you. I'm starting to see why he sent you over here." Said Sephiroth as he looked over Cloud's records. The room was silent for a few seconds and Cloud found himself staring at his new boss. There was something about his new boss that he wasn't so sure of himself.

"You keep staring like that, you'll eyes are gonna fall off."

"S-sorry." Said Cloud with embarrassment as he turned his gaze to the floor.

"Well if your done staring, I can show you where you'll be working. Follow me." Sephiroth ordered as he got up from his desk and led Cloud to a room that was a few floors below them. When they walked into the room, there were tones of camera lights in front of a picture set. There was a makeup girl that was near in case there model needed a few touch ups.

"You'll pretty much be spending most of your time in here." Said Sephiroth as he showed him the rest of the room. "The person you'll pretty much be working with should be here. He's just finishing up a photo shoot with another photographer."

'He?' Cloud said to himself as he learned that he was going to be working with a male model.

"Ah there he is." A tall brunette walked in from the same entrance as Cloud and Sephiroth and approached the two.

"Sorry I'm late Sephiroth. The photo shoot ran a little late." His voiced reached his ears and sent a small chill down Cloud's spine.

"It doesn't matter. As long as your here." Said Sephiroth in a mellow tone. "Cloud this is the man you'll be spending most of your time with. Your job is to be this man's new photographer." Sephiroth pointed to the brunette. Cloud and the male model meet each other's gazes and stared at each other for a few seconds. The man smiled at Cloud and opened his mouth to say, "Nice to meet you. My name is Squall Leonhart."

Cloud's heart started to beat really fast at hearing the mans name as he continued to stare at him.

Oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh Cloud and Leon finally meet!!! I wonder whats going to happen later on in the story? You're gonna have to wait and see!!!! Let me know what you think!!!!
