Chapter 2
There were actually two mistakes that Zexion made that cost him everything, the first being to trust Vexen. The man was pretty creepy-looking to begin with and Zexion got a bad vibe from him. He wasn't sure what it was, but all he knew was that Number IV was bad news. He did everything in his power to avoid Vexen without making it obvious that he was avoiding him. When the Chilly Academic, as he was called by other members wanted to have a private conference with him, he had no choice but to go along with it.
He couldn't help feeling slightly nervous as he entered Vexen's room. He had never been in before so he was surprised at the interior. The sitting room was modeled in the style of a lab. He knew he shouldn't be surprised; Vexen was known to be somewhat of a scientist. Number IV led him to a pair of chair set up with a small table in between.
“Would you like something to drink?” Vexen asked.
“Do you have anything non-alcoholic?” Zexion asked.
“Yes, of course.” It was common knowledge that Zexion didn't drink. Vexen went into the kitchen.
“Do you want ice?” he called.
“No thank you,” Zexion replied.
He looked around the room apprehensively. It looked harmless enough; the lab contained a lab table, a Bunsen burner, and a couple beakers, but Zexion couldn't help feeling nervous. Vexen returned with two glasses. He handed one to Zexion who immediately lifted it up and sniffed it. For one reason or another, he had a very sensitive sense of smell. He could even tell the Organization members apart from quite a distance. Each of them had a distinctive scent, such as Axel, who smelled slightly smoky, or Demyx, who smelled like the rain. Vexen, on the other hand, had the slightly acrid smell of chemicals. The glass in front of him was iced tea with a hint of lemon and sugar.
“You hurt me, Zexion,” Vexen said, watching him. “You obviously don't trust me enough. You act as though you think I'm going to poison you if given the opportunity.”
Zexion knitted his brows together. Vexen never referred to another Organization member by name, only by number. Something was up.
“You can never be too careful,” Zexion replied with a careless shrug. He lifted the glass to his lips and carefully took a sip. It tasted like iced tea, but the fact that Vexen was watching hiim drink made him feel very uneasy. He lowered the glass. “What do you want Vexen?”
“What? Can't I enjoy a drink with a fellow Organization member?” he drank from his glass.
“There has to be a good reason why you dragged me here.” Zexion mirrored Vexen's movements. The drink tasted slightly strange, but he didn't think twice about it. He drank because it gave him something to do.
It happened so suddenly. His body went slightly numb. He couldn't feel the majority of his body. There was a white powdery substance in the bottom of his glass. He had assumed that it was sugar, but he traced his finger around the bottom of his glass and captured a bit of it on his index finger. He brought it up to sniff. It had a strange texture and smell, definitely not sugar. He turned to Vexen.
“What the hell have you given me?” He demanded.
“Relax Number IV. Take it easy. I didn't poison you, if that's what you want to know.”
“What I want to know is what the hell did you give me?”
Zexion didn't like the steely glint in Vexen's eyes. He rose and made to leave.
“Where are you going?” Vexen asked.
“Away from you.” Zexion started to cross the room.
He didn't see Vexen rise.
“I cannot let you leave!” he bellowed.
Zexion moved faster. He felt Vexen tackle him from behind. He crashed to the ground, Vexen on top of him, pinning him down. Zexion struggled to free himself.
“Let me go! Please let me go!” he pleaded.
“Sorry. Superior's orders.” Vexen brought his arm around to the front and pressed a cloth against Zexion's nose and mouth. He struggled for a while. He could smell something on the cloth.
Chloroform! He thought in terror. He knew what was coming next. He struggled for a few minutes more before he lost consciousness.
When he opened his eyes, he was back in his own bed.
A dream? Could that have all been a dream? He silently wondered. He was in his Organization clothes, even his boots and cloak. He could have simply forgotten to take them off before falling asleep.
I have no idea if I was just dreaming or if that was real. It felt so real. He shivered. He was strangely cold.
The second mistake happened on a summer night. The Organization was celebrating the addition of Larxene. With her, they were now twelve, almost complete. The party took place in the basement as all their parties were. There was booze, food, and all sorts of entertainment. Even Xemnas and Saix, the two most reclusive members of the Organization were present. True, Zexion was pretty reclusive, but he wasn't as reclusive as those two. Normally, Zexion didn't drink. He didn't really like the taste of alcohol and he'd rather watch other make fools of themselves rather than do it himself. He had no idea of what caused him to drink that night. Curiosity, maybe? He wanted to know what it would feel like to be intoxicated. He knew a bit about alcoholic drinks from what he had rad, but he wasn't sure of what he would like. After experimenting a little, he settled on vodka. He downed several glasses.
“Wow, you must really like that,” Axel said, walking over.
Zexion scowled up at him. “Shut up.”
“I'm just saying.” Axel shrugged.
“What do you want?”
“We're gonna play some strip poker and we need a fourth. You in?”
“Who's 'we'?”
“Me, Luxord, and Marluxia.”
“Okay. Sure.” Zexion got up and took the glass of vodka he was currently in possession of to the poker table set up in the corner. It was a simple card table with folding chairs, but it worked well. They sat down, Axel across from Luxord and Zexion across from Marluxia.
“All right gents. Strip poker is the name of the game. We're not leaving until three of us are fully naked,” Luxord said, shuffling the deck. He passed out the cards.
Fortunately, Zexion was a very conservative better because he got so many crappy hands. He lost his shirt six hands after both Axel and Marluxia had lost theirs.
“Not bad Zexion,” Luxord commented. “Not bad at all.”
“Yeah well I'd be better if I had better cards,” Zexion muttered.
“Oh sure, blame da cards,” Axel slurred, he like many others, had had a lot to drink. Everyone at the table laughed.
Marluxia groaned and rose. “I need another drink before we play another round. Anyone want anything?”
“I'll have another vodka,” Zexion said.
“Right. Anyone else want anything?” Axel and Luxord shook their heads. Marluxia went over to the bar. He returned with a glass in each hand. He handed the glass with a clear liquid in it to Zexion and kept the glass with an amber liquid in it for himself. Marluxia downed the liquid in one tremendous gulp.
“Wow you drank dat fast,” Axel slurred.
“I wath thirsty.” Marluxia shrugged.
Zexion took a small sip of his vodka. Luxord passed out the cards. Zexion peeked at them. They weren't bad; a pair of queens.
Best hand I've had all night. He thought.
The betting was conservative at first. Luxord and Marluxia both folded. Axel peeked at his cards again.
“Okay. I'm all in,” he said.
Zexion raised his eyebrows in interest. Either Axel had a good hand or he was bluffing. There was only a slim chance that Axel had a better hand than him. He thought for a few moments. He had a fairly good chance to get Axel to strip down to the skin, something everyone was dying to see.
“Okay.” Zexion took a large sip of vodka.
“Okay what?” Axel asked.
“I'm going to call it. I'm all in.” The music in the room quieted. Everyone stared at the poker table.
“All right gents. Here we go.” Luxord turned over the first card. It was the jack of diamonds. The second was the ace of hearts. The last three were the queen of spades, the two of clubs, and the three of diamonds. Zexion let out a lengthy breath. It was in the bag.
“Okay. Show down gents,” Luxord announced.
Zexion turned over his cards. Axel was grinning from ear to ear as he revealed a pair of aces. Zexion groaned softly; he had lost.
“The winner: Axel!” Luxord announced.
“You heard him Zexy. Strip down.” Axel was still grinning.
“I hate you you stupid bastard,” Zexion growled.
“Rules are rules. Unless you're too scared.”
Zexion rose angrily. He downed the rest of his vodka in one gulp. His hands were trembling slightly as he pulled down his pants. He could feel all the eyes on him as he slid his boxers down. He stepped out of them and crossed his arms, glaring daggers at Axel.
“Happy now you fucking bastard?” he asked.
“I'm ecstatic. You know, I had no idea that that was your natural color.” Axel grinned wickedly.
Zexion flushed hotly. He started gathering his clothes. He could feel Marluxia's eyes on his body. Hungry eyes.
“Sexy Zexy,” Axel whispered.
“Don't...ever call me that again!” Zexion hissed.
“SEXY ZEXY!!” Axel yelled just to spite him.
Zexion stormed from the basement. Once he reached the main floor, he pulled his clothes back on. Then, he went out on the back porch to get some fresh air. He was incredibly flustered. Maybe it was just the alcohol or maybe it was Marluxia that made him feel so hot. He stared at the rose bushes Marluxia had planted after he had arrived. They were in full bloom, lending their sweet perfume to the hot summer night. He was so engrossed in their beauty that he didn't hear the footsteps behind him.
“Hey,” Marluxia said softly, causing him to turn.
“Hey. What are you doing here?” he asked.
“I uh...came to find you.” Marluxia flushed. He stepped forward.
“Why? What about the game?” Zexion asked.
“I wanted to talk to you. As for the game, Axel and Luxord are having a showdown. I lost not soon after you.”
“Why do you want to talk to me?”
“Why all these questions?”
“I...I'm curious. I just wanna know.”
Marluxia was silent. Zexion thought about something to say. He didn't know how to deal or talk to people very well. His eyes fell on the roses. “I...love the roses. They're beautiful. You did a great job cleaning up this courtyard.”
“Thanks,” Marluxia said softly.
He took a step forward and planted a firm kiss on Zexion's lips. Zexion didn't protest, but deepened the kiss. It just felt so...right. They only broke away momentarily for air. Marluxia wrapped his arms around Zexion and pulled him closer. Zexion had to stand on his tiptoes to reach Marluxia's mouth.
“Would you like...to continue this in my room?” Marluxia asked between kisses.
Zexion nodded. “Yeah.”
They made their way into the Organization headquarters and up to Marluxia's room unnoticed. The rose-haired boy closed the door. Between kisses, they moved backwards. Zexion found himself in Marluxia's room. The walls were a pale pink that made the room feel comfortable. A smell of fragrant rose petals lingered in the air.
“How do you like it?” Marluxia asked.
“It's...nice,” Zexion answered. “Very comfortable.”
Marluxia smiled. He found Zexion's lips again. The kiss was quickly deepened by Zexion. He groaned as Marluxia's lips trailed down his neck, licking and biting the flesh. The lifted his arms so Marluxia could lift his shirt off. Marluxia's shirt soon followed. They walked backward to the bed and laid down. Marluxia straddled Zexion's hips and leaned down to kiss his lips. His mouth trailed down the dark-haired boy's neck again and he sucked hard on the skin until there were dark red blotches left behind. He moved his mouth down to Zexion's chest. He sucked on the pert nipples, playing with them until they went hard. Zexion groaned and buried his hands in Marluxia's soft hair as Marluxia kissed his exposed belly.
Marluxia's hands undid Zexion's pants and slid them down, followed by his boxers. His mouth worked lower and lower. Zexion panted and thrust up into Marluxia's mouth. Marluxia licked and sucked as hard as he could. Zexion moaned and arched his back, his body moving in rhythm with Marluxia's licks and sucks. He came in Marluxia's mouth, but the rose-haired boy didn't mind. He swallowed Zexion's seed and withdrew, his face flushed with pleasure. He pulled down his pants and boxers.
“Are you afraid?” he asked, returning to the bed.
“No. I trust you,” Zexion whispered.
Marluxia leaned in for another kiss. His tongue explored Zexion's eager mouth. Zexion grunted and rocked against Marluxia's hips so that his edge brushed tantalizingly against Marluxia's.
“Don't!” Marluxia gasped.
“What?” Zexion asked with a childish grin.
“Tease me!”
“You want me to tease you?” Zexion grinned and rubbed harder against Marluxia's hips.
Marluxia groaned and gritted his teeth. He couldn't take it anymore. He used his saliva as a preparation, then seized Zexion's shoulders to brace himself, and penetrated him.
“Come on. Harder,” Zexion moaned, lifting himself up so Marluxia slid further inside. Marluxia knew what he wanted and gave it to him. He thrust harder and deeper, causing Zexion to moan and pant, calling his name. Finally, Marluxia reached his climax and burst forth his seed into Zexion. Zexion was shaking and sweating when Marluxia finally withdrew. The two of them were side by side, silent for a long time.
“Thank you,” Marluxia finally said, leaning over and brushing back Zexion's sweat-soaked bangs so that both eyes were visible.
“Why?” Zexion asked, slightly uncomfortable. He didn't like his face so exposed.
“It was great.” Zexion flushed. Marluxia kissed his cheek. “Get some sleep.” Zexion nodded and buried his face in Marluxia's shoulder, taking in Marluxia's sweet scent, the scent of roses.
To be continued...
A/N: Well, there's the second chapter. I hope I did okay with Zexion and Marluxia's characters. There will probably be a lot of Marluxia bashing in this. I'm not a huge fan of him. He's obsessed with his appearance and he's vain. I could see him taking advantage of someone while they're drunk. He's deceptive like that. He was drunk too, though, so that has to count for something. I guess. As for Zexion, I don't see him as a big drinker. I see him more as the type of guy to sit in his room away from all the people reading. He just doesn't seem like a people person to me. I think he'd be a promiscuous drunk though. And of course there's Luxord and gambling. You CANNOT write Luxord without some sort of a poker scene, I swear. It just doesn't seem right. I apologize if the sex scene is complete crap. I always struggle to write those sort of scenes so if there's anything I can do to make it better, let me know. Reviews help me to update faster.
