Ready, Set, Lock The Door!
Entry 2: Ready, Set, Lock The Door!
Vexen did the normal thins that he did whenever someone tried to challenge his scientific skills, lock himself up in his lab. He planned on proving Zexion, Xigbar and anyone else that doubted him, wrong.
He'll be gorgeous, a true creation! The "mad" scientist smiled wickedly as he pulled out the items he'd need for the long haul of this new experiment.
--
"Where is he, Xigbar?"
"Locked up in his lad, good luck."
"Why wait when he can simply teleport in?"
"...He's not that foolish."
Then teen twitched, realizing that VCexen had mentioned about the lab's "shield" wasn't so fake after all. Frick. "Do you think that there's a chance to convince him otherwise?"
"No, he argued with me."
"Whoa..." Zexion was floored by this. Vexen and Xigbar were just so... like, close. And it happened so quickly and the click was obvious.
"Just leave him, he has to come out for food." Or at least let me come in. "I'll take to convincing him, Zexion; just hang with Lex. I'll work this out."
The boy pouted and blushed slightly, simply nodding. Does he know? Zexion didn't say another word as he left, not wanting to reveal anything.
"God he's weird." Xigbar totally didn't get it. He only understood himself and part of Vexen. Ah, that's right... The gunman looked around the white, obnoxiously white, hallway before stepping into a called portal.
--
"Come on, everyone needs to eat!"
"No!"
"Then come out."
"No!"
"You're being childish!" Xigbar scowled as no response came this time, not even an acknowledgement that he made a comment. I have to bait him... "Old retard! Get out here!"
...
....
.....
The door slammed open and he was met with an earned glare. "What did you say to me?"
"That you're an old retard."
"You're older than me!"
"So you should respect your elders and not coop an attitude back, now get in." Xigbar turned around and pushed Vexen back into his lab, carrying a tray of food.
"Oof! Excuse you!"
"Nope." The man walked voer to a spare table that Zexion suggested be put in the lab so he doesn't spil anymore coffee on his chemicals...
Vexen stared at the tray the looked to Xigbar. "...Vegan wraps."
"Your favorite, now park it."
"Why?" He asked, sliding into his seat.
"What?"
"Why the... favorite... and the visit?"
"Stop this, its rediculous. You're fucking with someone else's work."
"I'm revising it."
"You're crazy."
"I'm not!" he glared at the man and sat back, crossing his arms. "Why does everyone doubt me?!"
"Because this is bigger than you, Vexen. I'm concerned for your safety." Xigbar leaned over the table, crossing his arms on the edge of it.
"Don't be so concerned. I assure you, I'm fine." Vexen gave a chaste smile and sighed, leaning up and fully pulling the tray in front of him. Picking up the first one, he began to eat.
Xigbar gave a loud sigh and shook his head. He wasn't going to get anywhere. Well today anyway. "Just keep in mind that some of us want you around more than you think." He tapped the table as he stood up and left without another word nor look back. Leaving Vexen to only stare at the door, lost with a strip of lettuce hanging from his mouth.
