Ike/Mia B
“En Garde! Pt. 2”
Scene: Greil Mercenaries Base, Outside
“O-o-o-ouchie!”
“Where is Rhys? He ought to be around here somewhere…”
Ike was busy looking for his sickly, yet useful friend, but he seemed nowhere in sight in or outdoors. All his favorite lounging spots were unusually empty. Mia, on the other hand, was licking her wounds on an empty table. Literally.
“Ooh. A-ha-ha. Rhys, huh…”
“What? You know where he is?”
“I just remembered. He went out shopping with Mist this morning! Said they might not be back until late noon. Yup!”
And up went a hand, to come down and smack Mia right on the side of her head. Hard.
“Ouch!”
She patted the area where it had struck. No doubt it would become a sore bruise soon enough with arms like Ike’s.
“You could have saved me a lot of time if you told me earlier.”
“Wah, what do you want from me? I just remembered! And how dare you hit an unarmed AND injured woman!
“Oh, please…”
Ike turned away, taking a look around Rhys’ little hut. From what he could remember, there should still be some emergency supplies in here that aren’t spoiled.
“Ought to be here…”
“Mmm…bleh.”
Thud.
“Huh? Mia? Hey, Mia!”
And there she was, from table to floor seemingly delirious and on the brink of passing out. But from her wounds? That couldn’t be right. She hasn’t lost that much blood…
“Idiot, you’re running a fever. How stupid can you be? All right, sit up now. Don’t fall.”
“Mmm…warm…hug…”
“Ah, hey! Come on now.”
Now completely delirious, she started to wrap herself around Ike’s body somehow, hugging his upper body as he raised her up to sit on the table again. The sort of position you wouldn’t want someone else to see you in, unless you were into that sort of thing…
And speak of the devil, the door opened.
Why, hello Rhys.
Perfect timing.
