Chapter 2
The next day came, and Nienna pulled herself out of her warm silky bed for the last time. She pulled off her shear night gown and placed her old robe back on. Kilin protested loudly to her early morning habits and glared. Nienna just shrugged it off and began to make her bed. Suddenly there was a loud knock on the door, which caused Kilin to jump up and hiss.
“Oh calm yourself. You stupid cat.” Nienna said and swatted at him. He hissed and swiped a claw back at her. She knew he was a bad choice. Nienna opened the door after the second knock. A young draenri male stood outside with a letter in his hand.
“It is for you Priestess Nienna.” He said with a nervous voice. Nienna straightened up her back and looked down at the slightly cowering messenger. Her blue eyes grew cold and her face was stern. The young male tried his best not to show his fear, but Nienna had a reputation here. She was cold and strict. Nienna even knew about this, and actually did her best to keep up the reputation. It was better for people to fear you than you to fear them.
Nienna placed out her slender hand for the envelope. He quickly handed it to her and began to rush off to deliver mail elsewhere. “Is that all?” She said in a cold voice, stopping him dead on his tracks.
“Y.. yes ma'am.” He said and no longer cared if he was polite or not. He literally ran away from her living quarters. Nienna chuckled to herself as she went to shut the door. Suddenly Kilin bolted right between her leg, making Nienna let out a startled cry. She quickly turned to catch him, but he was already past her and making his way through the crowd.
“Oh! You stupid beast! I hope you get ran over by a cart!” She said and shook her fist at the cat. Maybe it was better he had left. She knew that he wouldn't be taken to Stormwind with her, he would cause nothing but choas for her.
Nienna took one last look at her room before she pulled her bags outside and locked the door. It was then she realized, she still hadn't looked at the letter that was given to her. She tore it opened and proceeded to read it.
My dear Nienna,
I have sent a young apprentice to help you with the move. He is strong for I know you will have many bags. He should be around your quarter at about midday. Please wait for him to help you. Good luck in your journey and tell Amonon that I send my regards.
Almonen
Nienna sighed and looked around. This apprentice better be here soon. She shuffled her hooves for a moment before she took a seat on her luggage. After a few moments she pulled out her spell book and looked it over. With a sigh, she put it back away and sat there bored. Waiting for this male began to infuriate her.
“That is it!” She shouted and slammed down a bag she had been holding.
“Ahem. Miss. Nienna?” A voice came from behind. Nienna whipped around and glared at the man. He had to take a step back from her venomous stare. “I.. I was sent by.. by Grand Anchorite Almonen.”
“You are late!” She snapped at him. “Now carry my bags to the Vault of Lights.” She said and snapped her wrist at him. Without even waiting to see him he needed help, she proceeded to Edirah, who was waiting for her.
“Ah, young Nienna. Where are your bags?” She asked with a motherly tone. Nienna turned to glare at the Draenei, who was struggling up the steps with all her bags. Edirah giggled softly and gave the man a sympathetic look. “I trust Almonen gave you your instructions.” Nienna nodded.
“Yes, I have received my orders.”
“Good. Now there is another escort on the other side of the portal. He will take your luggage and lead you to your stay. You will be staying in The Gilded Rose. Today, you shall make yourself comfortable at the inn, and familiarize yourself with the city. Here is a map for you,” Edirah pulled out a rolled up piece of parchment and handed it to Nienna. “Tomorrow you shall meet with Amonon. Now I warn you, Humans are much different from us. They are rude, vulgar beasts. Most of them have little to no manners, but they are not to be messed with.”
“I understand.” She sighed. What's the worse to happen? She gets called vulgar names. Nienna knew she could handle that. “I'm ready Edirah.”
“Very well.” She said and opened a portal in front of her. The male draenei quickly threw her heavy luggage on to the other side. “All set. Blessings be with you.” She said before Nienna stepped through the portal.
Nienna hated teleportation. The gut wrenching feeling made her want to throw up. She felt light headed and her knees wobbled a bit. She let out a deep breath and opened her eyes. Standing in front of her were five human mages, and a servant boy, who was already holding her luggage.
“Ya a'ight missus?” The servant boy said and looked at her with concern. She looked around one more time at the bookcases and plain walls, before she snapped back to reality. Her face was no longer pale and she glared at him.
“I am fine. Lead me to the Gilded Rose.” She demanded and lifted her chin up a bit, looking down at him.
“Okay.” Was all he said and shrugged. She followed him down the carpeted ramp, and then the intricate ramp outside. Nienna didn't say one word as she passed by all the curious stares and whispers. She just held her head high and followed the servant boy.
“We be 'ere missus.” He said with a stupid grin on his face. She gave him a look of disgust and pushed past him to the inn keeper.
“Miss. Allison. My name is Nienna. I am a high priestess from Exodar. I currently have a room here. Could you show this boy where it is so he may place my belongings in there.” She asked the small human. The inn keeper just nodded, and waved her hand, as she walked and talked with another patron. The servant boy stuck out his tongue behind Nienna's back at her rudeness.
A few moments later, Allison left the two outside a very nice looking, yet plain room. Nienna snorted at its quality. “This is the best they can provided. Our small rooms are better then this shabby one. Ugh.” She sighed and was disgusted with its quality.
“Ya know. You be a mean one. Ya gunna get whats a-comin' fer ya. Ma said mean people have mean things be done to them fer being mean.” The servant said as he placed down her bags in the room.
“Now I see the intelligence factor as well as the clean factor lack here. Your mother isn't a smart woman, now get out of my sight you filthy peon.” She said and snapped her hand at him, waving him off. The boy just shook his head and walked out of the room.
“Okay. Next order of business.” She said and began unpacking her bags. She continued to stay in her room all day and into the night unpacking everything she brought. After that she studied the map her mentor gave her. She had not realized she was so tired until she passed out on the bed. The last thing she thought before she was asleep was the bed wasn't that bad.

Okay, sorry for a short chapter and taking so long, and thank you to all who reviewed. I will update this once a week on Wednesdays, more then that if I have time, but for now.
Fawnheart-- Sorry I teased ya! I just have been kinda busy and I love that you love the story so far. It is starting off kinda slow, but the next few chapters I promise will hold more. Promise.
The PD-- I would love to have many mates, but having to deal with 7 males. A girl can only take so much.
Horde FTW-- I hope you like this chapter, it isn't very long and doesn't have much too it. But like I said to Fawnheart. Just wait. Please continue reading it, but next chapter will be a lot longer and a lot better.
