Chapter 2 Meeting the General

Kai woke up late the next morning, the nightmare he had kept him up most of the night giving him very little sleep. “Of all times why do I start remembering this stuff now?” Kai asked himself as he was getting dressed to meet his commanding officer, Taishi Ci.
After having a quick meal, Kai started to leave by ended up face to face with a soldier. “Ummm...is there anything I can do for you?” Kai asked the soldier. “No, I was sent here to escort you to the palace. You are Kai correct?” the soldier asked. “Yes I am” Kai replied, “Ok come with me please.” The soldier said and started to leave, while Kai quickly got his weapon closed his door and quickly walked to catch up with the soldier.
The soldier brought Kai to the palace, and told him to head to the garden to find Taishi Ci.”Just head straight till you go through the door then turn left, keep walking and the garden will be to the left.” The soldier instructed then left. Kai started walking looking around he saw some generals training their recruits in archery, horseback riding and how to handle a weapon. *They must be the more experienced recruits* thought Kai as he made his way to the door.
When he reached the door, the guard asked to see the recruitment letter. After Kai showed the letter, the guard let him in. “Okay now I go left and keep walking, I should see the garden to the left.” Kai said turning to his left and started walking. While walking down the hall, Kai couldn’t help be look at the paintings on the wall and the statues.
Kai came to an arch way on the left, “This must be the garden.” Kai said going through and found himself in the garden. Looking around he noticed a general training with two battle rods. “Ummm excuse me.” Kai said a bit nervously, “Yes?” was the mans reply. “A…Are you Taishi Ci?” Kai asked, “Yes I am Taishi Ci.” Was the reply. “I’m Kai your new recruit sir.”Kai said a bit less nervous than before.
“AH, so you are my latest recruit, I’ve read that you have no battle experience.” Taishi Ci said more than asked. “Umm that is correct sir.” Kai said, “Okay then we shall start your training, you did bring your weapon with you?” Taishi Ci asked Kai “Yes sir I did” Kai replied. “Okay the lets get started shall we.” Taishi Ci said, “Okay But umm can ask you something first?” Kai asked, “Okay” Taishi Ci said. “Are we going to battle anytime soon?” Kai asked hoping he didn’t have to go right away. “In your case…… Unfortunately yes, we’ll be heading out to face the Yellow Turbans. That is why you’ll be training until it is time to go to battle.” Taishi Ci said.
Kai paled when he heard he was going to go to battle right away, as thoughts started to race through his head. *What if I mess up…or if I do something wrong in battle what will happen?* Kai thought. “Is everything alright?” Taishi Ci asked a little concerned, “Uhh…yea everything is fine, just had something on my mind.” Kai said.
“Very well let’s start your training get into a fighting stance” Taishi Ci told Kai, “Okay” Kai said getting into a fighting position but Taishi Ci looked disappointed. “Okay first off, try not holding the sword with both hands, a sword like the one you are using only requires you to use one hand.” Taishi Ci told Kai.
“Okay, I’ll try” Kai said, taking his left hand off of the sword. “Now bring the sword in front of you diagonally so that way you can defend your self better.” Taishi Ci said. “Alright” Kai said, bringing the sword in front of him diagonally. “That’s better, and also having your sword like this will allow you to attack faster, than just straight in font of you.” Taishi Ci said a little impressed.
“Okay, now swing the sword using only your one hand that is holding it.” Taishi Ci instructed. “Okay” Kai said, and swung the sword, but lost his balance and fell on the ground. “Try to step into your swing so you don’t lose balance.” Taishi Ci said, watching as Kai got up and back into a fighting stance.
“Alright lets try this again.” Kai said this time stepping into his swing, still losing his balance but he didn’t fall. “Keep practicing you’ll get the hang of it.” Taishi Ci said, as he watched Kai get slightly better with every try he made.
*This kids got great potential, and he’s a quick learner* Taishi Ci thought. By the time lunch got around Kai had managed to swing the sword without losing his balance, and he even tried to keep swinging as if he was trying to hit more than one time. “Okay that’s enough for now its time for lunch.” Taishi Ci said, “Oh okay” Kai said running over to Taishi Ci. *The kids not bad with a sword, the way he runs with it makes him look like he’s about to attack* Taishi Ci thought.
They went to the dining hall were Kai met the other recruits and generals, he started to feel a little nervous being in a room with so many people. Taishi Ci noticed this and went by Kais side. “If you want we can eat out in the garden.” Taishi Ci said, “That’s okay, I just need to get used to being around new people, and being with this many too.” Kai said.
“Well later if you like I can introduce you to some of the other generals.” Taishi Ci said to Kai while sitting down at a near by table. “That would be great.” Kai said with a small smile. After they ate lunch, Taishi Ci and Kai made there way back to the garden, only to be stopped by a general that looked like a pirate. “Well well you must be Taishi Ci’s newest recruit.” The pirate said, “U…Umm yes, my name is Kai.” Kai said a little nervously. “I’m Gan Ning.” The pirate said, “Well I better get goin don’t want my recruits doing something without me heh heh.” Gan Ning said and left to go meet up with his recruits.
“I... Is there any one else like him here?” Kai asked, “Well there is Zhou Tai, but you would think he doesn’t look like a pirate.” Taishi Ci said with a little hint of humor in his voice. They returned to the garden, and training resumed as usual. Kai had had managed to get the basics down pretty quickly. “You’re a fast learner, you might be able to hold your own on the battlefield, but until then you will stay by my side in the upcoming battle.” Taishi Ci said
“Thank you sir. Umm when do we leave for battle?” Kai asked, “We leave in a few weeks, until then you will need to train more.” Taishi Ci said. “Okay, I will.” Kai said, after they were finished talking Taishi Ci said that was enough for the day and for Kai to go home.
Later that night Kai was at home thinking about Taishi Ci. *He doesn’t look so bad. He’s kind of nice, helpful, cute…* Kai blushed at the last remark. “I can’t think like that, not what happen to me the last time.” Kai said a bit sadly. “No can’t have my heart broken again, don’t think I can take it again.” With a heavy sigh Kai went to sleep.
At the palace Taishi Ci was going over everything today in his mind, as he was making his way to his room. *The kids got potential, he managed to get through most of the basic training done, but he seems lost in thought sometimes. Maybe I’ll talk to him about it, don’t want to see someone as beautiful as him die early…* Taishi Ci blushed at the thought of Kai being beautiful “Can’t think like that, he might have a lover at home.” Taishi Ci told him self *or maybe he doesn’t* he thought.
Then his thoughts started to betray him, as images of Kai writhing on his bed as he pounded in to the boy, hearing him moan, scream in total ecstasy begging him to faster and harder, then screaming his name as he reached his climax, played in his mind.
“Need to stop thinking such things,” Taishi Ci said to himself, but to late he can already feel himself hardening from thinking those ‘dirty’ thoughts. “I’m going to take a cold bath first then head for bed” he said then went to get a towel, then headed for the bathroom (bath area or whatever they called it back then) and took a cold bath.
The three weeks went by very quickly, Kai trained with Taishi Ci, got to learn how to strategize with Zhou Yu and Lu Meng since they were already teaching it to Lu Xun. Kai found it confusing at first but managed to get the hang of it as they progressed and agreed to take lessons from them twice a day at the approval of Taishi Ci. On one day Taishi Ci tried to talk to Kai about what he was thinking about while they trained all the time, but noticed he would stiffen and become somewhat sadden to even try to talk about it, so he dropped the matter but Kai said he’ll tell him when he is ready.
Kai was finishing up his preparations for battle for in two days he will be going to battle for the first time in his life. “Taishi Ci sounded concerned, when he asked me about what I was thinking” Kai said to himself, “I’ll tell him someday but not right now”
After he was done making preparations, he ate dinner washed up then headed for bed. The next day the Wu Army set off to meet up with the rest of the Allied Forces. Kai was unsure of what the outcome would be but tried not to think about it too much.
Later that night, when they arrived at the Allied Forces camp they were shown were they will be sleeping for the night. Kai saw Taishi Ci talking to another general but couldn’t hear what they were talking about. Taishi Ci after talking to the general walked over to Kai, “So…umm what will we be doing?” Kai asked. “We will be taking out an enemy general, therefore opening a path for the main units to advance to take out the enemy commander. After we’ll take out the other generals so that way the other units can advance to assist the main unit.” Taishi Ci said.
“Okay…so we’re not going to take out the enemy commander?” Kai asked, “No because I feel you’re not quite ready yet.” Taishi Ci said. “Oh…okay then I guess I should get some sleep then.” Kai said.
“Very well be sure to be up early for battle.” Taishi Ci told Kai. Kai nodded then headed for bed in his tent which was right next to Taishi Ci’s, *What a coincidence I’m next to his tent.* Kai thought, *To bad I’m not in the tent with him…* “Stop thinking such things shouldn’t get to attached” Kai said to himself. Before he went in Kai turned to see Taishi Ci going into his tent, Kai went over to him before he went in.
“Umm…Sir?” Kai asked, Taishi Ci turned around and looked at Kai. “What is it?” He asked, “Umm… who was the general you were talking to earlier?” Kai asked. “Oh… that was our lord Sun Jian You’ll meet him tomorrow before the battle starts.” Taishi Ci said.
“Oh…okay then I’ll turn in now… good night sir.” Kai said, “Good night remember to be up early.” Taishi Ci reminded Kai. Kai nodded before going into his tent. After making final preparations and going over his orders in his head, Kai went to sleep.

finally i got ch.2 up pretty much Kai meeting Taishi Ci going through training etc...
next chapter will be Kais first Battle once again im doing this as i play the game and i am going to make it so that way the battles dont come back to back so ther will be side missions(about 2-3 missons)be fore the next major battle
