The wolfish creature bared long black fangs at them and took a step toward trish seeing the blonde hair.before dante ever the smart one started to approach it but before he could get close it tackled him and pinned him to the floor its wings turning into long tentacle like spears as its wild blue eyes flashed as it caught his scent and stiffened.he smiled reached up and lightly tweaked its left ear and it fell off him with a purr and rolled on its back with a doggy like smile. before it hissed and changed. the wings going in and the fur falling off and the skin reshaping and the wings growing back in as the horns re curled into its head revealing a angry yet hurt serenity as she looked between dante and trish and her eyes flashed red

"why didn't u tell me dante?"she asked quietly,her voice was a soft sad whisper as he felt the pain he'd brought and winced"because i thought u wouldn't approve"he said quietly then growled"because you'd act like this!.its just trish omg. what did she ever do to u anyway besides try to kill me "he shrugged"i forgave her why can't you"he seen something flash in her eyes before they hardened to a icy blue that could have rivaled his older twin vergils."because she killed my brother"she snarled darkly"she sliced him into submission then beat the living hell out of him . and broke him so badly and tore him so badly .during that year and at the end i found him. he looked worser than anything i'd ever seen and not even the devil could have saved him and thats why i hate your little fucking bitch over there."she hissed"but i'll leave her alone because u somehow developed feeling for her."she shrugged"as long as ur happy. but i wouldn't guran-damn -tee she'll be with u forever."She smirked coldly"she was gonna marry my brother too. on the last day of there honeymoon it began. and went all the way to there anniversary.you may think she loves u but u need to grow up. and stop going after every fucking little blonde tramp with nice legs and looks like ur mother and find someone else"she hissed standing up"i'm going to the lake"she then walked out leaving a shocked,hurt and disbelieving dante he then growled

"FINE BE THAT WAY. IF U CAN'T ACCEPT THE FACT THAT I LOVE TRISH THEN I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR SKANKY FACE AGAIN I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT U ANYMORE ANYWAY.JUST GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!"rumbled through the house arriving easily at serens ears as a shake went through her and tears flashed in her pearly blue orbs and she whimpered already in the woods on the far side of the park.his words cutting much deeper then any dagger or katana she'd ever been pierced with.as she finally appeared at the cyrstal clear blue water of the lake,she sat down in a tree branch looking far over the lake and had a perfect view of the stars and the moon.as she remembered how she and dante had first met.

dante had been at a bar and was currently sitting down at a table watching the strippers and dancers play. but a view caught his eye.a woman stood up staring a highly drunkin man who was squeezing her chest.he heard her growl but the man grunted"stop growling at me bitch"and hed slap her.the slap could be heard but her head didn't turn as a cold sadistic smirk appeared on her face"party time"dante grinned watching to see what the woman would do.he noted he couldn't see her eyes but he also didn't see the knee getting brought up either as the man doubled over on to have a uppercut drive into his nose and a roundhouse kick sending him flying into the many bottles of wine and beer on the wall.as she tossed her hair back he seen her wild eyes and was immediantly interested. then he bar fight started all the men piling at her as he got up to help the little lady remembering that almost every man in here was a demon as the woman had been thrown nd landed on him then falling to the floor in a straddle as he grinned up at her"whats flyin babe?"he purred as she smirked at him"hopefully these demons heading to hell after i kill them"she said simply sliding of him pulling out a pair of daggers .she flicked her wrist each dagger piercing three men. one in the left eye. one in the jugular and the other in the heart .the men screamed and there bodies contracted and demons were left in there place.they were tall and had long weird looking ears and was green as he recovered from his shock to hear her laughing.it sounded beautiful as he heard her say"dear god giant yodas are taking over the world."she dropped her voice sounding like yoda"to hell i will go" he laughed and got up retrieving rebellion. as the two were pushed back to back as she glanced over her shoulder at him"whats your name red leather?"she asked amused as he answered"dante and your black leather?" "serenity."she answered pulling out a pair of twin blades similiar to agni and rudra but one was a deep rich sapphire blue and the other a flaming red .as she suddenly lurched flicking her wrist a huge blast of fire and ice flew from the swords piercing,burning,and freezing most of the demons. as he watched her and then dodged a sycthe coming at his head and stingered its ass as he turned suddenly and was met in a lip lock with serenity .he grinned and deepened it.she surprised him when she returned it deeply and moved her arm and pierced a reaper coming from behind him. then she pulled back"your a rad kisser"she winked at him before she turned and walked out.he followed"your not a slouch yourself serenity"he smirked"not bad looking either.tall for a babe aren't ya?"she scoffed"u can't talk to much mr.jolly silver giant"

she sighed that had been the moment she'd fallen hard for him as she leaned against the tree trunk"i lost him"she whispered cursing herself"DAMN MY SHYNESS AND FEAR!"she snarled to the world slammin the back of her head against the trunk.

dante turned to trish and stared at her"why'd u kill her brother?"he asked with a frown as she answered"he was a bad one dante. your serenity,your partner, is the daughter of the greatest devil in the world. her father is the mighty lucian"at that he stiffened.lucian was the ruler of hell and all things against mankind. and his eyes darkened"why didn't she ever tell me"he asked noone .he'd known her now for 10 long fun years. as she smirked"because she was going to kill you dante.thats why u met in the bar.thats why"she got up heading to the door"remember who u belong to dante.i'm yours and your mine.don't let that little black haired crush of yours ruin our happiness"and with that she walked out.

dante whimpered confused and angry and hurt and most of all scared. scared of the truth"would she really kill me?"he breathed looking around."no....she wouldn't...i mean who could kill such a perfect sexy gentlemen"he grinned and looked down at himself and the scar on his shoulder and stiffened.he'd received that once when she'd gotten poisoned with silver and lost control.she'd nearly ate him up before he's managed to knock her out.he suddenly remembered the words he'd said to her and stiffened"i just threw out my best friend"he breathed"i just told her to hit the road.to leave me alone. i told her...i didn't care"he whispered and shut his icy orbs before the tears leaked out.

she'd been his first true friend in years and had stuck with him all through these 10 years and they'd been the best of his life.he'd grown to care for her alot.hell even love her. but he thought it was just brotherly love and that'd she only looked to him as a brother and nothing more.he sighed heavily and plopped down on the couch wondering if she'd ever return. then started thinking about trish a small smile lighting his lips"i don't need seren."he whispered his mind in fully agreement but his heart disagreeing so bad it hurt."i have trish i can forget about her"he breathed and fell asleep on the couch.

the next morning seren hadn't returned but he'd just shrugged it off and replaced his sadness and sorrow with the love and happiness with trish.as the days went by turning nito weeks his love for trish grew more and more and his happiness replaced his love for seren but he missed her breakfasts she'd make and her damn radical tea she made.along with watching her dance in the rain and missed her flirtacious yet protectiveness.he couldn't count how many scratches he had on his back while going on a mission with trish. it had been for a pack of bloodgoyles and they'd surprised dante and trish. slicing and dicing tearing them apart. but in the end he'd dove infront of trish taking the gashes as he killed the goyle.

anyway today marked 3 months since her departure and his marriage was getting closer and closer and today was the day before the wedding and he was nervious yet unsure.as dante was locked in his thoughts the phone started ringing.

he grumbled slammed his foot on the desk and the phone flew into his hand"devil may cry"he grumbled as he heard a high pitched voice"hello buddy boy"it was jesters voice and he shot up"what the fuck"he snarled as jester tched"language dear boy language. i have someone u might be missing" he chuckled as he heard a a whimper"now now vergil calm down "he then heard a growl over the phone"die pathetic clown!"but jester continued as dante snarled"why the hell are u calling me jester"he then heard vergs an gasped"vergil1"he yelled as jester smirked"we need a little trade dante.your shiny amulet for your pathetic brother.meet me at the lilywater lake in 20 minutes"jester then hung up.as dante thrugh the phone against the wall and grumbled"damn fucking clown i 'm gonna tear out his voice box.noBODY TALKS MORE THEN ME.NOBODY!"he grabbed his coat,slipped it on,then started out the door.he arrived moments later at the lily water lake he and serenity use to visit frequently.

he seen jester with a chained to the ground vergil.verg was covered in scratches and gashes and slices and dices.his clothes barely covered his body and he looked tired and warnout. dante fired at the clown"hey ronald mcdonald whats this about"he snarled" did your pigs get off the farm?"as jester grinned"and now my little pigies returned"he felt a unknown pain flash through him tearing him apart.his body was like it was being torn in two as a metallic sword was shoved deeply into his stomach by a giggling jester.dante vision darkened slightly as vergil lunged at the clown with a snarl. but was two pierced by a sword.as jester giggled"now isn't this a fun magic show kiddies we just need a box!"he jumped up and down before a sword pierced into his back and pinned him to a tree"oh yes its even funner playing pin the jackass clown to a tree"a cold voice said from a tree as dante glanced up toward the familiar voice the pain lessening.he figured it was his trish but oo how wrong he was.. it was ........CLIFFY!
