Chapter two

Chapter Two:

"Destiny."As the words echoed through his mind, Cervantes forced himself awake and swung his blade into the air. At nothingness. He had sweet on his forehead from his dream. Strange he never really remembered having dreams at all.

He squinted slightly and looked out the window. It was daylight by now. He shook his head and went and poured himself a glass of wine and gulped it down. He threw his coat vest on and made his way up to the deck. On his way up, he ran right into Stomas. His first mate just stared at him for a moment.

" What?" Cervantes asked firmly.

" Oh! We've ah....found your hat....along with something else you might want to see." He said.

Without another word from either, Cervantes walked up to the desk. Several men stared over the side."What be yer malfunction...." Cervantes paused in questioning his crew as he himself stared over the side. There just below the side of the ship was a piece of wood. And sloutched over it was a young woman. With long dark brown hair. Which seemed to be ratted and tangled. She was peach skinned. And had a beautful calm sleeping face.

On top of her head was his hat. Cervantes stared at her longer and turned to a crew member." Fish her out and lay her out on deck."He ordered.

He turned about and walked over to the stairs by the bridge. And leaned his head on the railing." Fuck." He cursed sightly. There was something annoyingly famailair about the girl unconsious in the sea. He noticed that she wore a lavender chiton and beared a birthmark on her left arm that resembled a flower. A narcissus if he was not mistaken. Found in the Greek Islands.

" She's a lovely fish." Laughed one of the men as the woman hit the deck with a thud from behing hoisted up. Cervantes's hat rolled from her head and rolled rat at Cervantes's feet. He stared at it for a moment, then picked it up. Brushed it off then put it back on his head.

" Hands off! I saw her first!" Speat one other crewmember.

" None of you sea dogs will be touching her." Cervantes called as he stood from the stairs and approached the men who circled around her. The men moved out of his way. Upon reaching her. Her knelt down to examine her closer." Back to work!" Cervantes shouted. As soon as the men did as told, he looked back down at the young woman who was fished from the sea.

His white orbs glanced down at her chest. Her nipples were erect from the cold waters. She was not wearing a corest or anything. This had an arousing affect on Cervantes. Who has not been with a woman in several years. And he did his best to hide his desire.

Without anyother though, he swept her into his arms and said nothing as he carried her down below. The men muttering as he departed the deck. A buck of possiblities came from their mouths. Curious what Cervantes might do with her. Or even to her.

All he did was take her into his cabin and lay her down in his bed. And took a seat at the side and kept his gaze upon her. He felt a strong aura from her soul. He nearly considered just feasting on her soul. But an unknown force within him would not let him even lift his blade to her. Something in him told her that she was special. Though he could not comprehend in which way and why she was. All he knew was his senses told him to keep her alive and with him.

He turned about and slid his face in his hands and remained like this for a moment, until Stomas lightly tapped upon the open cabin door." What now, Stomas?"

" Sir, the crew and myself were wondering....what is was the purpose in keeping her aboard. You know it is bad luck."Stomas stated.

" I am aware of this. But she may hold something more powerful then that of the Soul Blade itself." Cervantes said and examined the woman's birthmark again.

" Captain?" Stomas forced his mind back.

"Oh, yes...I think that I will have you head back around where we were yesterday." He said and stood. He turned back once more to the woman, grabbed his weapons. Latched the gunblade to his hip and slid the larger sword onto a case on his back. He went up on deck. Closing his cabin door behind him.
