Chapter 2!!!!!
***********************************************************************
Genis rolled over. He'd slept in the same room as Lloyd, as he often did, but he'd never felt so uncomfortable before. He felt dirty, for what he'd done with Mithos. He'd liked it, sure, but the feeling hadn't lasted long, and now the guilt ate at him. There was something else, too, something that made him feel even guiltier. He wanted to do it again, and he shouldn't. He shouldn't have let it happen the first time.
He wasn't a liar; Raine had beat that into him at an early age, so keeping secrets wasn't something he was good at. He'd wondered if he could tell Lloyd. Surely Lloyd, in his innocent, stupid, naivity would understand. Lloyd wasn't the type of person to hate someone for something like this. He cared more about what a person did, then what they were like.
He sat up, the old cott creaking under his small weight. He slid to the edge of the bed, the dropped to his knees on the floor and slinked to Lloyd's bed, as if hiding. He peeked over the edge at his sleeping friend, and poked his shoulder.
“Lloyd?”
Lloyd mumbled an angry protest and rolled over. Genis poked him again.
“Lloyd? I need to tell you something.”
Another annoyed grumble, and he pulled the blankets over his head. Genis scowled and stood, taking out his Kendama.
“Lloyd, wake up, or-”
“LLOYD! GENIS!” The door suddenly flew open, revealing Colette and Sheena.
In an instant Lloyd was up and wide awake at the sound of Colette's voice. “What?”
“Raine's gone!”
“Gone?” Genis echoed.
Lloyd nearly jumped off the bed and into his boots, while Genis sat down and put his on. The three were out the door before he'd even finished.
“Hey, wait up you guys!” Genis called, rushing after them.
***********************************************************************
“Come to think of it,” Regal said, climbing off the Rheaird, “she was asking a lot of questions about this ruin, yesterday.”
“Look! There!” Pointed Colette. At the bottom of the hill, stood Raine, gaze focused at the top of three crooked pillars. A sudden wave of relief crashed over Genis. They'd searched all day and had found no trace of his sister. He'd feared the worst. While Raine's magic was impressive, she was not only as slow as he was, but most of her spells were healing spells. She wasn't a very good offensive fighter, especially by herself.
“Professor!” Lloyd called.
Raine turned, expression startled. “Everyone...? Why are you here?”
“Why do you think we're here?” Genis said immidiately. “We were worried about you.”
“It's dangerous to come here alone.” Mithos said quietly. “As a fellow half-elf, I can't just leave you alone.”
\Colette glanced around curiously. “Why did you come to this place?”
Raine turned from them, eyes sad. She let her gaze slide upward to the sky, but saw only memories. “This is where Genis and I were abandoned.”
“What are you talking about?” Lloyd asked. “You two are from Sylvarant.”
“No. I happened to catch sight of this place when we rescued Colette from Rodyle, and it's been on my mind ever since. Then when I heard the story of the two poles which connect the two worlds, I became certain. The images in my memory...the ruin I've been searching for all this time. It's this place.”
“So what are you saying?” Sheena demanded. “You two are from Tethe'alla?”
“It can't be!” Genis said. “All my memories are of Iselia. I've never seen this place until now.”
“We were born and raised in the village of the elves, from which we were eventually ostrtacized. We were abandoned here because this place was said to be the path to the legendary Sylvarant.”
Mithos frowned. “The village of the elves? The secret village said to be off-limits to anyone except elven kind?”
“Yes. I'm not sure of the details about what happened, but I'm positive I was left here with Genis when he was just an infant, and we eventually ended up in Sylvarant.”
“Then this time, let me send you to Hell instead!” A voice called out. The group turned to the sound of the voice. Sheena's eyes widened in recognition.
“Kuchinawa? What are you talking about?”
The ninja in red glared at the Summoner as soldiers stepped out of the darkness behind him. “The chance to avenge my parents' deaths has finally arrived.”
They were complete surrounded on all sides, with far too many to put up any decent fight. Sheena barely seemed to notice. “Avenge your parents?”
“Correct. You will die for killing my parents, along with countless others of our village when you failed to control Volt.”
“Wh-what?”
“But that was an accident!” Lloyd protested. “Why are you doing this now?”
“Accident!?!” Kuchinawa roared. “I could've accepted things if she'd just failed to make a pact with a summon spirit, but then, she failed to assasinate the Chosen of Sylvarant, thereby placing Mizuho in danger! But just look at her now! She's made pacts with summon spirits, just like that!”
“You have it all wrong!” Colette defended.
“Do I? I think she wasn't really trying during the first pact-making. Because of that, she killed my parents and our people. That is a sin I could never forgive.”
“I did the best I could!” Sheena shook her head. “I never meant-”
“Don't make excuses!”
The soldiers started in, forcing the company into a small pack.
“There's too many...” Lloyd glanced around fertively, swords drawn.
“Kuchinawa! Don't drag them into this! I'm the one you want!” Sheena called over the clinking armor. “I'm the only one you need to kill.”
“Fine.”
Both of the ninja's started forward, one in hatred, the other with uncertainty. Zelos looked up at a sudden shift of light, just to see a ray of light connect with the tops of the pillars Raine had been examining. A small swirling vortex opened up at the bottom. A way out!
“Enough of this Sheena!” He called, running forward. A bit roughly, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her around. Sheena gave a sharp cry, but did nothing to pull away. “Come on Lloyd!” He called, dragging Sheena into the gate, where their bodies seemingly dissolved into little balls that sank into the swirling abyss.
“Everyone into the gate!” Lloyd called. As if they needed to be told twice. Raine and Colette got thier first, then Presea and finally Lloyd and Regal. Genis hesitated a moment, unsure, but Mithos grabbed his arm.
“Come on, Genis!”
Genis nodded and let Mithos lead him, glancing back at Kuchinawa, who'd made a made dash for the portal. Too late. By the time he reached it, the group was gone and the vortex sealed.
***********************************************************************
Genis yelped as he hit the ground hard, then gave another as Mithos landed on top of him, and either in good of bad luck, at just the right position that thier lips connected. Genis blushed, and turned his head aside, and Mithos, blushing just as fiercly, slid to the side of the boy. Thankfully, no one seemed to have noticed, as they were still gathering themselves from the suddenly stop.
“Where are we?” Regal asked.
Raine flattened her hair. “Probably on the outskirts of Palmacosta.”
Colette dusted the dirt off her pants. ”We're back in Sylvarant?”
Genis gathered his wits enought to focus on the conversation. “The mana level seems to have risen, but it's definetly Sylvarant.”
“I never thought I'd wind up coming over to this side like that,” Zelos sighed, fluffing his perfect red hair.
Sheena was imidiatly at his throat. “Zelos! Why did you butt in!”
“Excuse me? Don't tell me actually wanted to die back there.”
“Well...”
“Besides, those guys would've come after us regardless of whether you'd died or not. Pope's opders and all...”
“Are you implying Kuchinawa is working for the Pope?”
“It's likely.” Raine said. “Those assasins he had with him were the Pope's guards, weren't they?”
“I'm certain of it.” Regal stated.
“But what are we going to do now?” Mithos asked.
“Well, since we're back in Sylvarant, why don't we find out what the Desians are up to?”
Genis' heart leapt. “But what about Mithos? We can't drag him into this!”
“Maybe we could ask the Palmacosta government to take care of him.” Colette suggested.
“Neil huh...” Lloyd shrugged. “I guess.”
“But I wanna fight, too!” Mithos protested.
“What are you saying?” Genis said. “This journey is dangerous, even if you had an exsphere!”
Mithos lowered his head. “I suppose you're right...”
Genis bit his lip. Mithos looked so sad...
***********************************************************************
“As of late, there's been a lot of activity at the Palmacosta ranch.” Neil said.
“But I thought we destroyed the ranch,” Lloyd commented. “Could Magnius be back?”
“It's possible.” Raine said. “Maybe we should go and check it out. Neil, this child is Mithos. Could he stay here with you, just until we return?”
“I see no problem with it. But perhaps you all should rest. You look tired. If you'd like, I could get you rooms at the inn, free of charge.”
“Really? That's wonderful!” Colette squealed.
“Yeah, we're really short on gald right now...” Lloyd chuckled half-heartedly.
“Then I'll make the arrangements. It's the least I can do for all your help.”
As the group started out, Mithos grabbed Genis' hand. “Genis, you really don't want me to come with you?”
“Mithos, it's not like that. I...”
“You don't have to make excuses. If you don't like me, I understand-”
“No!” Genis blushed at his sudden outburst. Mithos blinked at him, and Genis lowered his head. “I-I like you Mithos. A lot. But...my friends might not understand, and Raine would kill me if she found out-”
“We don't have to let them find out.” Mithos whispered, pulling the boy into his arms. “If you prefer, no one has to know. And we can stay together.”
“Mithos...”
“Hey you two.” Genis leapt back from Mithos at the sound of Neil's voice. “I have a small errand to run and a note to deliver to Izoold. Mithos, I'll show you where you can sleep as soon as I get back, okay?”
Mithos nodded. “Thank you very much.”
The door opened and then clicked shut, and an eerie silence fell over the office. They were alone. Genis squeaked when Mithos' arms slipped around him, pulling him against the blonde half-elf. Lips pressed gently to his neck, making him shiver in frightened delight.
“This is a public building.” Genis murmured. “Someone could come in and catch us.”
“Unlikely.”
“But-”
“Shh...” Mithos spun Genis around and pulled the small body against his once more. His lips captured the small half-elfs, and Genis let his eyes slide closed with a soft moan. Mithos pushed him slightly back, to get him walking, and they backed up until Genis bumped Neil's desk, knocking something over. A paperweight, maybe. Hands slipped under his thighs and lifted him up onto the oak desk. Mithos dropped his head, devouring Genis' slim neck once again while his fingers sought the buttons of the boy's vest. Genis put his arms back, and the vest slipped off, onto the desk. Mithos released him only long enough to lift up his black undershirt, the caught his wrists behind his back and forced him to lay back on the desk. Unlike last time, Genis didn't try to free his hands, but kept them there, waiting in eager anticipation, watching in excitement as Mithos removed his own top. He leaned over Genis, kissing him lightly before moving down, and capturing a small pink nippled between his lips. Genis yelped as the bud hardened under Mithos' assaulting tongue and he squirmed, shuffling papers off the desk and onto the floor. Mithos switched sides, reveling in the boys cries of pleasure. Genis was simply too cute for his own good. He moved his hands to the hem of the light blue shorts, tugging them down. Genis helped, bowing his back to get the shorts out from under him. Mithos tugged off his shoes and then completely removed the shorts and undergarmets, leaving the boy stark naked on top of Neil's desk. Genis' chest heaved with his small pants of excitement, while Mithos wiggled out of his tight green pants, almost like a little dance for Genis. His hands were falling asleep under him, but he barely noticed as Mithos leaned over and dipped his tongue into his navel, sending small shakes through his body. Mithos trailed lower, licking the sensitive flesh just above where Genis wanted him. He moved lower, completely ignoring Genis' need, to kiss as suck the inner thighs, letting his tongue dance over the soft skin. Genis whimpered, unable to take any longer.
“Mithos, please!”
Mithos chuckled. “I wondered when you'd ask.”
His tongue lightly touched the head, sliding over the small curve and Genis gave a cry of gratitude. The skin on his arms prickled, and when Mithos took him in his mouth, Genis all but sobbed the blonde's name. His whimpers became moans, and moans became quick, mindless gasps as Mithos' lips and tongue worked him, taking him down to the hilt, then to the top. He pulled his hands from under him without really meaning to, and his fingers curled in Mithos' silky hair, holding him there, though Mithos had no intention of stopping. One hand released the knot of blonde locks and curled into a fist. He bit the edge of it, his finger, to keep from nearly screaming, in case there were people down below this room. Still, small eager sounds slipped around his knuckled as he came closer and closer to the edge, Mithos never slowing in his pace, never pausing to breath.
Genis bit his knuckle so hard he broke the skin, as his body was wracked with a wave of intense pleasure, his body tightening. Mithos jerked at the sudden flood in his mouth, but was not opposed to drinking the heavy fluid. Genis relaxed, body exhausted. Mithos lifted his head and smiled gently at the boy. He caught sight of the hand, and lifted it to his mouth, sucking off the blood. Genis blushed. “Thanks.”
“I don't mind at all.” Mithos murmured, placing a small kiss on the hand before letting it drop. Genis gasped when he suddenly lifted his legs, pulling them up over his shoulders. Mithos slid two fingers into his mouth, wetting them before pressing them to the boys entrance, rubbing it, wetting the ring of muscels. He pushed them inside, and Genis arched with a moan, then whimpered as the fingers scissored him, stretching the puckered orifice. He withdrew his fingers, and Genis slumped back, still panting.
The boy bit his lower lip as he felt IT press to him, slowly pushing inside. Mithos gripped his upper legs so hard they left bruises as he slowly pressed in, stretching Genis wider, sliding in deeper. He stopped once he was fully inside the boy and just kept there, memorizing the feel of that tight heat. Then, with a shudder of his own body, he pulled out, and plunged back into the small body under him, Genis so lost in pleasure that he didn't notice the creak from the opening door...
***********************************************************************
“Finally, a bath.” Sheena said. “I feel so dirty.”
Zelos drapped an arm around her. “We could bathe together. Save some water.”
The rest of the group sighed as Zelos screamed and hit the ground hard, Sheena stomping to the front of the group.
“Hey,” Colette said. “Where's Genis?”
They all stopped and glanced around. “He was at Neil's.” Regal said.
“Perhaps he stayed a little longer with Mithos,” Presea whispered in that usual monotone voice.
“You guys go,” Lloyd said. “I'll go get him.”
“Don't get lost now, bumpkin!” Zelos cooed.
Lloyd scowled. “I won't get lost!”
“Just bring him back before dinner.” Raine said happily. “I'm cooking tonight.”
The group groaned, turning green.
Lloyd laughed and retraced his steps to Neil's office. He stopped, gazing at the door. It had seemed like such a long time since they last were here and fought against Magnius. A lot had happened since then, and it seemed like forever ago. They'd lost battles, and won, they'd gained and lost friends, and yet, the battle wasn't even half over. It may never be over. He shook his head. He wouldn't think like that. They'd defeat Yggdrasil and Kratos and the Desians! They had to!
With a positive outlook to the future as usual, he pushed open the door. “Genis, Raine says...” He trailed off, unable to believe what he was seeing. Mithos panted heavily, thrusting against Genis, who was gripping the edges of the desk, mouth open, cheeks flushed, tiny tears in his eyes. His head fell back over the edge, and Lloyd ducked behind a small table to avoid being seen. He peeked over the edge, eyes wide, both confusion and facination taking him. Wasn't Genis a little young to be doing this? With another male, no less! Yet, he couldn't look away as Mithos slipped his hands under his friend's back and lifted him to a sitting position, thrusting harder against Genis' trembling body. Lloyd's gloved fingers dug into the edge of the table. How...how could Genis do this?
Mithos smirked as he pulled Genis up. Kratos' son was quite a nuicence, interfering with his plans and now spying on thier lovemaking. But there was no need to frighten Genis. So he played along, ignoring Lloyd as if he hadn't noticed.
“Mithos...” Genis whimpered, moving his hips in rythem with his friend's. He felt so good, so hot... he clung to Mithos as he rode, somehow finding Mithos' lips as the haze in his mind grew thicker, until he could no longer think strait. Mithos sighed his name against his lips, and that was all it took. Genis arched his head back with a scream, and Mithos pressed his face to Genis' neck, calling the boy's name as he spilled, buried deep inside the smaller half-elf. Genis collapsed, back, and Mithos lay on top of him, both panting and grinning like fools.
Genis laughed, hugging Mithos close. “Mithos, that was wonderful.”
“Wasn't it, Genis?” Mithos whispered, though loud enough for any extra ears to hear. “I like you so much.”
Genis blushed. “I really like you, too. In fact, Mithos, I think I might be in-”
A click form the door broke them apart. Genis dived off the desk for his clothes, quickly throwing his shirt on, as the door opened. Unable to finish, he moved behind the desk hiding his lower half. He glanced quickly over at Mithos, but somehow, as if by magic, his friend was already completely dressed.
Neil stepped into the room. He glanced around, blinking at the mess. “What were you two doing? This place is a mess.”
“Well...um...” Genis started. “We were uh....” He glanced at Mithos. “Tag. We were playing tag, and we got a little rambunkious.”
“Tag my ass...” Lloyd hissed under his breath.
“I see...” Neil glanced around again. “Well...”
“Mr. Neil.” Mithos smiled brightly. “Weren't you going to show me where I would be staying?”
“Oh, yes.” Neil nodded. “Come this way.” Neil started toward the hallway.
Mithos turned to Genis. He pulled a panpipe from his pocket, finely carved. “Genis, I want you to have this. It was a gift from my sister, but I think you might need it more then me.”
“I-I can't accept this!”
“It's okay.” Mithos kissed his cheek and forced it into his hands.
Genis smiled. “Thanks for distracting Neil.”
“You're welcome. Now hurry and get dressed.” Mithos waved back at him as he quickly followed after Neil.
Lloyd stood. He could get out of here while Genis was dressing. It was now, or he'd probably be found-
“Gah!”
He stumbled and tripped, falling hard on the ground. Genis glanced up.
“L-Lloyd!”
Brown eyes caught blue. Both boys' cheeks reddened.
“How...how long have you been there?” Genis asked, so quietly he wasn't sure Lloyd had heard him. But Lloyd stood and darted to the door. Genis scrambled up, grabbing his shoes. “Wait! Lloyd! Please don't tell the others!” He did his best to try and put his shoes on while hopping after Lloyd, but he tripped and fell through the door, losing Lloyd in the crowd of people.
“Lloyd!”

“Lloyd!”
