"Talking"
'Thinking'

Chapter Two

Sora wakes slowly with a headache and feeling like he had gotten in to a fight between Axel, Saix and Xemnas all at once. Groaning softly he sits up looking around the extremely dark room. He notices there isn't a window in the room but a candle is flickering in lamp. He pushes the think red blanket off and notices that he's still dressed except for his shoes and gloves.

"I believed you'd be uncomfortable in them," the dark man from last night says appearing out of the shadows. "I wouldn't have removed move but I didn't want to startle you."

"Who are you?" Sora asks running a hand through his dishelved locks.

"Vincent. You're the keyblade master Sora."

The boy snorts and gets up pulling his gloves on that are resting on the night stand. Vincent watches the boy pull his gloves and shoes on without a word, silently moving.

"Yeah whatever," Sora mumbles. "Thanks for the bed. I'll leave now."

Vincent nods and opens the bedroom door allowing light to spill in to the room. Sora flinches until his eyes are use to it and turns to look at Vincent a moment. Vincent just watches him blankly dressed in a tight black tank top, black pants and his boots. Sora looks at the golden hand wondering what exactly it is. If it was his actual hand or just some kind of weapon. He realizes he's staring and looks away ashamed.

"Don't worry about it, everyone stares when they see it," Vincent comments leading the boy in to the hall. "Nos go home."

"Don't have a home anymore," Sora shrugs. "It was nice meetin ya."

Vincent watches the boy leave the hotel and wants to go after him. For some reason he wanted to make the pain leave the boy's beautiful eyes. Sighing he returns to his room to get some rest now that the boy is out of his bed.

Sora walks back to the bar feeling better then has in days. When he steps in Tifa and Cid are immediately checking him for wounds and asking him questions. He just smiles at their concern and looks over at Cloud and Leon playing cards.

"Sora you had me worried when you left last night," Tifa says trying to tame his hair. "Where did you go?"

"To the Baily," he replies trying to get her to stop. "I met up with someone and fell a sleep."

"Who?" Cid asks gnawing on his toothpick.

"Vincent," he replies.

"So, Vicnet is around huh?" Cloud comments. "Wonder what woke him up this time?"

Sora doesn't like the way Leon and Cloud begin to joke around on Vincent even though they knew him longer then him. Tifa glares at them and pushes Sora on to a stool before moving to get him some breakfast. Cid huffs and goes back to cleaning up some dishes. Sora quietly eats before waving good bye to Tifa and leaving.

He wonders around for a while before heading over to the Castle to look around. They've done alot of work on it, trying to turn it in to a place to vist but it's taking a long time to get it done. He looks around as he enters the place looking at all of Cid's contrustion work and wondering why no one's working today.

"Stupid place," he mumbles heading up the stairs.

He could remember where every place is from fighting in the place all those years ago. He stops in the room where he had faught against Riku. Seeing it all play in his mind, Riku betrying him and them having to fight.

Sighing he slumps down on to the ground and stares up at the ceiling. He watches the shadows pass along the wall and wonders why he even did it now. Things had gone alright once the island was back together. He had Kairi and Riku. They had settled in to their old habits until Sora found himself being left out. Kairi would come up with excusse on why they couldn't hang out and Riku became violent. With him it started off with just their sword play getting rougher until blood was drawn. Riku would laugh when they tied off in strength and then him and Kairi would disappear.

He pulls his legs up under his chin and begins to sob, griping his shorts. The horrible sobs shake his thin body as he buries in on himself, images of his friends flying through his mind quickly.

Vincent steps in to the castle and looks at Sora curled up on the floor sleeping. Tifa had sent him to find the boy since it had gotten late and no one had seen him since he returned to the bar that morning. Salt hangs in the air from tears and he looks at the smuge on his face from sobing and drying his face on his gloves.

'Every time I see you you're crying' he thinks bending down to pick the boy up.

Sora groans softly in his sleep and grabs on to Vincent's shirt. Vincent looks down at the boy sleeping soundly against him.

"Riku....stop," he sobs buring his face Vincent's chest. "Please...stop."

Vincent watches the tears slide down the boy's soft face. Reaching up with his human hand he wipes them away slowly. Sora settles down and Vincent begins heading back to the bar. Tifa meets him in the back and looks down at Sora. She had to admit she hadn't been spending time with the boy or being as nice as she could be to him.

"Where'd you find him?" Tifa asks as she leads Vincent up the back stairs to the livng quaters.

"In the Castle," he replies quietly. "He was sound a sleep. Whose Riku?"

"A freind of his," she replies. "Why? Was he talking in his sleep?"

"Yes," he replies as she opens a door.

He looks at the mess in the room and can tell a teenage boy lives there. Tifa moves the blankets back and Vincent lays him back. The girl removes his shoes and gloves before covering him back up. Tifa watches as Vincent looks down at Sora, something shinning in his red orbes.

'I wonder...' she thinks before leaving.
