Chapter Two:Moonlit Animal Passion

" I should go and look at what will be the last of the beautiful falls in Faydwar. Before that Orc destroys it." He mused to himself and left his place. Again the orcs laughed."Very well. We'll have to do this the better way." Said the leader. He nodded to one with arrows.

" Hadaer." The woman began looking around. Just as the archer aimed and shot. The woman screamed her eyes welled up with tears as the arrow hit the stag in the side. This made Krypton's eyes widen.

The orcs laughed outloud again.As the stag slumped slightly, keeping his antlers norrowed at the orcs. Still standing." Hadaer!" She cried out in sobs. Another arrow hit the stag right beside the other arrow.

" Maya." The stag weakly muttered. " Run. Please."

" No! I can't leave you!" She sobbed. Falling to her knees, another arrow impaled him.This time his legs weakened. But he had one last ounce of strength. The reamining two quickly looked over and drew their swords. And attacked the dark elf.

Krypton smirked and lifted his hand and from his palm a green yellowish ball flew and hit the orcs. Forcing them to stop and writh in pain as they turned the color of the ball Krypton launched into them." What...have you..done..?" Asked the lead orc.

" Just gave you a form of aids." He said with a smug grin. He lifted his sword and stabbed one then. Finally two. Chuckling he to himself for his little remark he cased his sword.

He heard the sound of the woman's sobbing. He turned his gaze.She was cradling the stag's head in her arms. Krypton walked to her and knelt down.And touched her arm.

When she looked up she did nothing. But spoke," If you are here to claim a prize then it is my head you can claim." She said. " But leave him in peace."

Krypton shook his head and started to yank out the arrows from the dead stag. He tossed them to the side," I am not here to claim any head today my lady. I did not want your....stag to have to suffer anymore. I hope you can forgive me." Krypton stood and offered her his hand.

The woman accepted and stood.Krypton stared at her longer. Realizing that the stag had to have been much more inside then he appeared on the outside.
