Chapter 2
Perhaps you are wondering why I had said I might’ve felt affection for my enemy, Hotaru? Or perhaps you’re even wondering what’s going on? Well, it all started a while back…

“Let me get this straight…you want me to what?!” I cried disbelievingly. I had done many things in my lifetime. Some brave, some stupid, but none were as downright disgusting as this.
“I want you to seduce Hotaru while Kobra and I take down the Seido Guardsmen for Havik,” Kabal replied smoothly in answer to my outburst. It took a lot to get Kabal angry, and he probably expected my reaction.
I knew how important it was to maintain Havik’s help, but nonetheless, I was pissed off. “Why the fuck do I have to do that?!” I said furiously, my eye twitching. I glanced over at Kobra, who was smirking at my predicament. Chauvinist pig! I wiped the grin off his face when I suddenly said, “Why can’t you get Kobra to seduce Hotaru? He’s a pretty boy, I’m sure Hotaru would be impressed.”
“Aw, hell no!” said Kobra in disgust. I just shot him a look of satisfaction.
“Because Hotaru would notice right away that Kobra is a man! He knows who both of you are already,” Kabal said, a wee bit irritated now, I thought. Although, that glare I thought was emanating from his masked face could’ve just been the surrounding glow from the Netherrealm’s lava pools. “I expected better of you Kira,” Kabal added. “You pledged your allegiance to the Black Dragon Clan, and now you’re backing out on us?”
“I would never back away from a mission!” I retorted. “I was just wishing that there was a better way!”
“Wishing will get you nowhere Kira,” Kabal replied gravely. “Only action. It is set. You will seduce Hotaru, and we will complete this mission for Havik!” he said with a tone of finality. “Is that understood?” he said, directing his words at Kobra now as well.
“Loud and clear!” chirped Kobra. I merely grunted in reply. Kabal just shook his head at me, and left. His disapproval still hung in the air.
“Well, it seems you’re going to be having fun on this mission,” joked Kobra. “If he doesn’t satisfy you though, I could finish the job for him!”
“I’d rather fuck a zombie,” I retorted. “Now shut up before I kick your ass.”
“Like you’d stand a chance against me!”
“The only reason you’re still alive is because Kabal would not be happy if I killed you Kobra, just remember that.”
“Whatever Red,” he stated, and walked away; leaving me blushing for some reason I couldn’t understand. Well…he was kind of cute, in an egotistical way. Actually, I did have a crush on him, though I’d never admit it. But I was positive he only saw me as someone to tease. It pissed me off.
But it was not the time to dwell on Kobra. I had to get ready to seduce Hotaru!
Now, I’ve seduced men before for missions, and it went fine. But Hotaru was different! He was the worst of all the enemies I’ve ever encountered! Now I had to let him fuck me?! While I missed out on all the action?! It was definitely not fair.
I found the nearest pack of zombies and started to be the crap out of them in my frustration. Damn, it was hard to be a woman sometimes!
