"Blaze...you still haven't told me were we were going..."
She stopped dead cold and spun around to face the ivory colored hedgehog. Should she tell him now? Would it really bother him?
"Blaze? What's going on?"
No... best wait...
"Silver...I can't..." she shook her head "...tell you just yet...I’m sorry Silver..."
He stumbled back as if he had just been shot. True, up to now Blaze has always been truthful with him. Granted not knowing what was going on he just assumed the worst.
"Blaze...is this about Iblis? Is he back?"
Now it was her turn to be in shock. She hadn't meant to worry him about THAT! Maybe in this case she may just have to tell Silver some of what she was thinking...or better yet...
She glanced up at Silver as an idea began to formulate in her mind. He really isn't very fast she thought. I could probably find Sonic way before him. Yes, I think this is the best plan.
"Silver..."
"Hmm?"
"I need to find Sonic fast. If we split up, we'll cover more ground."
"But...?"
"We'll use this fountain as a meeting point if neither one of us can find him."
"Wait, Blaze...this is Sonic we're talking about. He's very fast. He could already be..."
"I doubt it, and if he is, we're only going to search in this town for now. Which means if one of us fails to show up at this fountain, that's a signal that means trouble and to go searching for them."
"So, you think he's still here?"
"If not, I don't see where else he could be..."
"I'm sure we'll find him."
Silver gave her a small smile, which made her feel a little at ease. As he began to make his way one direction, she called out to him.
"Good luck, Silver!"
"You too...Blaze!"

Super short chapter here…even I’m kinda upset about how short it was but I promise I will make up for it…eventually. Please review people, it really motivates me to write more chapters.
