Boys will be boys chapter 2

Lloyd could feel warmth rush over him as he could feel a certain someone, namely Zelos, leaning closer and closer in for towards his face.
'Is he really gonna kiss me?'
He blushed like no end when contact was finally made but something wasn't right...almost unreal to be exact. He was startled by Zelos pulling away so abruptly.
"This is a dream, Lloyd my buddy! You didn't honestly think I'd kiss ya like THAT did you?"
"I...?"
Lloyd snapped his eyes open at the sound of Genis' voice.
"Finally your awake. Colette and Zelos are already downstairs eating breakfast, I was almost about to go without you Lloyd. Jeez, you sleep like a rock!"
Lloyd, not knowing how to act after such an event, responded in the only way he could think of. "Shut-up Genis!"
Ignoring him, Genis only continued, "I guess I'll go on ahead downstairs. Come down when you're ready okay Lloyd?"
"Yeah...okay..."
When Lloyd finally did come down, he had already made plans to make this as painless for himself as possible. He was just going to head downstairs, eat, then head back up. After a weird dream like that he really needed the time to clear his head. Breakfast didn't function as well as he thought it would though.
"Sir Bud would you like some syrup on your pancakes?"
Lloyd looked up from his seat realizing everyone, including Zelos, was watching him. It was then it occurred to him. 'Do they honestly have to stare at me everytime I make a choice?'
"Sir Bud?"
"Umm...yeah..."
Genis snickered. "Jeez, Lloyd, you don't even know if you want syrup or not?"
"Shut-it Genis!"
Colette immediately began to cover for Lloyd, being Raine wasn't there to keep Genis from saying obnoxious things, she figured someone had to do something. "Genis, I’m sure Lloyd has his reasons for being indecisive. He's probably still tired from yesterday's journey. Right Lloyd?"
"Umm...yeah...that's right."
It was an obvious lie at that point. No one pressed anything any further but Lloyd, feeling embarrassed, ate in silence after that and excused himself from the table and upstairs.
"I'm gonna go lay down some more, let me know if we're going out okay?"
It was then Zelos rose and spoke up.
"Heh, actually, I was planning on going out to pick up a few things from Sybak if you wanna come along with me Lloyd?"
Lloyd froze on the steps. With Zelos? True, he didn't like to be cooped up in a bedroom but to be out with Zelos right after that dream was...
"Actually, I was thinking something a little more excited then Sybak...sorry Zelos..."
Zelos just snorted. "Fine, don't come with me. I'm sure you'll have way more loads of fun in that room anyway."
Lloyd, feeling a little guilty, just blushed and headed up the stairs all while mumbling another apology. It was then Genis turned to Colette.
"Why don’t you go with Zelos and I'll check on Lloyd okay?"
"Huh? Okay?"
She turn to Zelos with a smile. "I'll go with you Zelos."
He returned her smile with one of his own. "Aww, that's so sweet Colette. We Chosens gotta stick together ya know?"
She nodded. "Yep."
He slightly frowned a bit. "Too bad Lloyd couldn't come along though, he's really gonna miss out. I was sooo looking forward to treating him too."
Colette tilted her head. "Hmm, did you say something Zelos?"
"Nah, it's nothing, come on my little Colette."

Lloyd just laid on the bed, blushing furiously flashing back to the events. He thought back to when he first saw Zelos, coming down the stairs dripping wet. He then began to remember his dream, when Zelos kissed him. It was really warm and wet and...
'Did he stick his tongue down my throat?'
Lloyd began to pull off his right glove and lightly, reach up and touch his lips. The feeling...it was still there...almost like it had been real...
"Okay, fess up Lloyd! What are you hiding?"
"Wha...?"
Lloyd sat up only to face a half-smirking Genis. He shut the door behind him and sat down at the edge of the bed, curling up his knees like a middle-school girl about to hear her best friend spill a crush she has. "Come on Lloyd! You can't hide anything from me! We've been friends for like ever! So tell me already? Is this about Colette? What is it?"
Lloyd turned away blushing...Could he really trust Genis? It wasn't like it wasn't serious. And with it being this serious, maybe he could. However, he had no idea what was going himself. Why did he stare at Zelos like that? Why did he dream about him like that? Was there something wrong with him?
"Genis I..."
"What is it Lloyd? You sound scary..."
"I think there's something wrong with me..."
"What? Why?"
It was then that all of how Lloyd had been feeling came gushing out all at once. "When we came here, I kept staring at Zelos and getting this weird feeling in my gut. Also, I not only was I staring at Zelos, but I was staring at places on Zelos that I don't normally stare at on other people and I don't know why? And to top it off I had this weird dream about him and he KISSED ME Genis, I don't know why but he did! I know it sounds weird but I don't know what's wrong with me? Am I weird?"
Lloyd just winced his eyes shut and blushed waiting for Genis to reply. When he heard him suck in his breath he was sure he had just lost his best friend just for having weird feelings. Then he heard a sound he did not expect. Genis began to chuckle and those chuckles turned into laughs.
"Wha...What's so funny?"
"Lloyd! Haven't you figured it out yet? You're in love with Zelos! Jeez, you really are slow!"
Lloyd blushed. "Gimme a break! It's not like Professor Sage ever taught us this love stuff before!"
"That's because it's not a lesson! It's an optional fact of life. I'm pretty sure she's mentioned it as far as emotions go...if you were paying attention at all?"
Lloyd furrowed his brow for a moment as if thinking really hard about this. Then his face lit up in realization.
"Ohhhh...Love, huh? Like what? Like what you felt for Mithos?"
Genis face went as red as Lloyd's clothes. "That’s different that's..."
Genis began to blush furiously and go onto a stuttering brigade while Lloyd began to space out and think.
"Do I really feel that way? About Zelos?"

-Boy this is tough, I’ll try to keep up with the chapters but I just got sent another challenge so I might go a little slower but I can see the end of this story so I’m pretty sure I should finish this one first okay. Keep reviewing especially shishio, it motivates me to go faster.
