King Mithos
Chapter 2 is up now! The Gerudo now has a name.
Disclaimer: Zelda isn't mine. The only character in here I own is the Gerudo King in this story.

Awaking with a start, Zelda looked around her room, it seemed the same as when she had fallen asleep. Why did she have such a dream? Was this something that was to happen soon enough in her future? Sunlight was pouring through the large bay window, making the room seem so bright. Blonde hair spilled over her shoulders and back, shrouding her face as she scanned the area. Granted she looked down when she felt the sheetsunder her lower body feeling damp. A large wet spot had formed over the night and the musky feminine smell confirmed that it had belonged to the princess.
'I was aroused by such a dream? What does it mean? Could Ganondorf have returned? But that wouldn't make sense.'
The door creaked open, footsteps clicking across the stone floor. Zelda reacted quickly by covering the proof of her dreams with the covers of her bed after removing herself from it.
"Princess?" A comforting voice met her pointed ears. Impa was the one who entered the room.
"Yes Impa. I'm awake." Zelda pushed back the gossamer curtains that covered her bed, stepping out from her bed and to her dressing area. The old Sheikah woman readied a finely made dress of lilac and violet for the princess to wear as she moved behind the blind to undress from her nightgown.
"A messenger from the Gerudo Valley had come this morning. They left a gift for you."
"Gift? Why would the Gerudo send a gift?" The princess of Hyrule asked from behind the blind. Shuffling of fabric and movement could be heard from behind it, noises to prove that someone was dressing.
Zelda stepped out with her body covered by the garment. A small golden necklace with a Triforce pendant was handed to her. The three triangles that made up the Triforce were carved out of pieces of Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby. It sparkled in the light, shimmering with beauty.
"This was sent as a gift by the Gerudo King. It seems that he's in fatuated with you and he has yet to even meet you."
"This man could be a threat like Ganondorf was." Part of her didn't want to trust him, but could her dream have something to do with the new King? She sighed, clasping the necklace to close about her throat, ending perfectly upon the hollow of her collarbone.
"He also left a message of wishing to meet with you to dicuss an alliance of Hylians and Gerudos. I believe he expects to meet you today."
"I must see this man. To make sure that he is of no threat to our people. And may the Gods protect me."
Impa had placed her hands upon Zelda's shoulders, "Please, my princess. Just be careful and wary of this man. Do not trust him

The stone throne room within the Gerudo Forteress was mostly bare, a few war emblems and weapons hung about upon the walls. Torches kept the room dimly lit and only one was within the room. He was seated upon the throne, more like thrown than seated, and seemed at peace. His clothing was a simple black vest and black trousers that the Gerudos wore. Crimson hair flowed down past his chin, bangs falling ino his golden eyes that seemed to shine in any darkness.
"My king?" A young Gerudo woman had stepped forward, bowing before the man.
"Yes? What is it that you would like to say?"
"I have returned from Hyrule Castle and delivered both gift and message for the Princess."
He smiled, waving his hand to dismiss her. "You are free to go and I thank you for doing this for your king. Tell Nabooru to ready a welcome for Princess Zelda. I shall meet with the princess in my personal chambers."
"Yes, King Mithos." The woman pulled herself to her feet, leaving the throne room.
As he walked away through a small passageway, he smiled.
