Across the Shadows

Same rules here apply as they did for the last chapter.

Once again, I own Yukio... everybody else belongs to their perspective owners.

Yukio awoke to the sound of a struggle next to him.

"Come on Riku... why won't you let me kiss you just once?"

It took a moment for his mind to clear, and the memories of the night before to click.

"Fuck off Axel! I mean it this time... get off of me."

Frowning at the voices next to him, he turned over to see Riku pinned beneath Axel. He was struggling to push the red haired man off of him, and his shirt had been mostly unzipped.

"Just a taste... you know you want this."

Yukio's eyes widened as Axel forced his lips against Riku's. It was obvious the other man didn't want this, and it set Yukio into action. Without a second thought, he was up off the couch, pulling out Lust Forgotten and extending it.

Riku saw movement out of the corner of his eye, glancing in that direction. He had hope that the kid wouldn't wake up to see this. Having been distracted for that moment, Axel took his chance and forced his tongue into Riku's mouth, thinking he was finally giving in. Outraged, Riku bit down hard on the invader.

With a yelp, Axel pulled back, but still too late to see what was happening around him. He felt it when the broad end of a stave conected with his ribs, sounding a loud crack, and pushed hard enough to lift him up and send him flying across the room. He crashed into the wall and fell to the floor. Barely having time to stand up and see what attacked him, he only saw huge pieces of ice fly towards him before he was encased in them.

He was on his feet and quickly zipping up his shirt. "What did you do to him? Did you kill him? Tell me you didn't kill him!"

Yukio has fallen to his knees, dropping Lust Forgotten on the floor infront of him, feeling a little dizzy "No... he's just encased for now... he'll be fine once the ice melts."

"Hey..." Riku moved to kneel next to Yukio. "Are you feeling alright?"

He nods, with a faint smile. "Yeah... just feeling a little dizzy. I think I pushed myself a little too far last night."

"I'd say so, you fainted right into Axel's arms while he was teasing you."

"Teasing?" Yukio blinked, then frowned as Riku nodded. "It wasn't very nice of him to tease me in such a manner... I get enough of that back home from my sisters."

Riku nodded, moving a litle closer to Yukio. "I can only imagine how it must feel... I've never had siblings to tease me."

"It's no fun at all," not noticing how close Riku was getting. "Especially since even though we're triplets, they're both still taller then me."

"They must be jealous then."

Yukio blinked, "jealous? But why?"

"Because..." Riku purred as he leaned in close. Tilting Yukio's head up a bit and watched the color rise in his cheeks with the nexts words he said. "Even if they are your sisters, I doubt that they could ever come close to being as beautiful as you." Then he pressed their lips together.

Yukio froze, his eyes wide as he felt Riku trying to deepen the kiss. His mind shut down and wasn't helping him out in any way. When older boy tried to push him back down to the floor, his mind kicked in. He didn't want this, and tried to push Riku away.

The sound of ice shattering from across the room caused Riku to pull back surprised. This gave Yukio enough time to bitch slap him hard, then get out of there and far away.

Riku was stunned, rubbing his cheek where Yukio had slapped him. To add insult to injury, Axel was laughing at him. "Serves you right for pulling that sorta stunt." Brushing the remaining ice shards off of himself. "And you say I'm dense."

"Shut up Axel... at least I wasn't thrown across the room or frozen."

Axel just shook his head. "Doesn't really matter right now does it."

"What the hell are you talking about now?"

With a sigh, he grabbed Riku and hauled him to his feet. "The boy... he took off out of here rather fast."

Riku blinked, then frowned. "Why didn't you say so sooner?" Being tugged along by Axel, he nearly tripped over the forgotten weapon. "Slow down Axel... not like he can get too lost in that short amount of time." Cursing softly under his breath as he picked up the stave and looked it over. The small balls of materia equipped within it catching his attention. "What do you think these are?"

Axel just shrugged then pushed Riku out the door. "Who knows? But let's get going now... I don't wanna be the one held responcible if that kid gets hurt... who knows what those shadow creepers might do to us."

The mere thought of that made Riku shudder. "You're right... let's get going."

They were about half way down the street when Axel spoke. "So, Riku... how come you never want to do those sorts of things to me?"

There was a silence, then Riku smirked... "Simple... you're too old for me."
