Link simply sat there with his chin resting in his hand as he stared at the small ball of light in front of him. Navi could be really annoying at times especially with that high pitched voice of hers.

"Oh come on Link. . . wont you just listen to me properly for once in your life?" she asked pleadingly. Link sighed and sat up straight at that moment he was glad that it was her. Navi knew about everything and it really couldn't be helped that would act so bossy.

"Ok Navi, I'm listening. . . " he said quietly. They were on the out skirts of Hyrule country and he was preparing to re-enter his old home.

"You really have been away along time. . . and. . . well. . . maybe you should go see princess Zelda before anything else." Navi continued hesitantly. Link blinked at her and looked down at his boots. He hadn't seen her in so long and he was afraid that if he went to her something would happen.

Links mind traveled back to the moment in time when he and Zelda were suspended in the light of time. He had known that something hadn't gone quite right with the re-setting of time. There had been a certain sort of presence around him when Zelda had begun to play the Ocarina.

"Your age was altered a little bit. . . " Link's eyes widened a little bit as he looked at the fairy. Her voice had been so soft but he had heard what she said none the less.

"I'm not sure how it happened but you are older than you started out to be. . . " she whispered. Link frowned a little at this and sighed as he leaned forward placing his chin once more in his hand.

"Ok I kinda figured so much as that. . . but there is something that you are not telling me Navi." He said sternly, even if he wasn't of the royal family his voice carried with it an amazing authority.

". . . Well. . . " Navi started slowly. truthfully she really wasn't sure how Link would react to the news that she had to give to him.

"Navi. . . what is it?" Link's voice dropped dangerously low and Navi knew that he wouldn't let her avoid the subject she really didn't want to bring up and risk Link getting furious. The fact of the matter was that Hyrule had once again fallen into very dark times.

". . . Ok Link. . . But you have to swear that you wont do anything with mindless anger. . ." Navi said and launched into the tale of what went on during his long stay away from the country of Hyrule.

Zelda felt the dark cold hands encircle her waist. Wimpering as she felt the strong solid body of the demon press against her back.

"You will make a fine queen my pet. . . " whispered his malevolent voice across her neck. Fear shivered through her body as well as utter desgust for the beast that held her captive.

"You will not have me!" she whispered back venomously only to have his grip tighten on her. She whimpered in pain as she felt his cruel errection press against her rear.

"Oh I wouldn't be so sure about that princess. . . " he growled. Another shudder ran through her as a horrible image of him trying to enter her crossed her mind. A tear fell down her face as a picture of a handsome blonde boy surrounded by light came to the surface of her mind.

~flash back~
Link approached her almost exactly as he had when he had come to her carrying the green stone of the forest. But he was different the second time he came to her in the castle garden. She had noticed it when they had been in frozen in time together as she was trying to fix it. Something hadn't went quite right and instead of Link going back to his specific age but was older than before.

The way he had looked at her was so sad and she had known that he was leaving.

"Do you really have to go Link?" she had asked him. After having been through all that he had, she realized that he had changed from a simple carefree boy into a young learning warrior. He was in need of training that he couldn't find here.

"I am really sorry Zelda. . . but even you must realize that it would be better if I traveled and gained more knowledge," he said gently. He had changed from being many years younger to being just one slight year behind. It must have been the work of some god to have had that kind of change occur.

"I figured that you would tell me this. . . I will admit to you Link that I had a dream that you would be leaving." She replied sadly looking down at her feet. Link had come closer to her at that point, he knelt down and looked into her eyes.

"I wont be gone forever Zelda. . . I promise to come back when or if I can. . . " he whispered softly. It had surprised her at how gentle he was when he took her hand and kissed it. And she knew that it had surprised the both of them when she found herself on her knees raining kisses all over his face.

"Promise me that you wont ever forget us here. . . promise me Link, please. . . " she pleaded softly as his hands wrapped themselves around her waist. But pulling her closer to him wasn't the best idea that he had gotten since he ended up losing balance and they both fell over.

"Zelda. . . I could never forget you, never you because I know that your face will be constant on my mind. . . " he whispered to her. Even though they had fallen he still had his arms around her.

"And the people?" Zelda asked quietly. He was so handsome even at this age. Once again his eyes locked with hers and she saw the answer as clear as day.

"I would not desert these people. . . not ever," was his only statement before he captured her lips with his for the first time in her life. And after that she had let him go on his way she didn't cry out but alowed the tears to flow freely.
~End Flashback~

'Why did things have to be so wrong?' Zelda thought. The demon draged her roughly to the chamber in which he kept her imprisoned. Every now and then as he moved he would reach down and painfully pinch her rear. This earned him the pleasure of hearing her whimper painfully. He knew that he was going to enjoy taking her, but for the time being he would settle for this. Reaching the door to the room he opened the door with his power. But before he threw her into the room he gave her one last pinch.

Zelda lay on the floor where he had tossed her for several moments. He was getting more violent as time went on. Zelda knew she had to find some way of getting out of his grasp.

"Link. . . please come back. . . " she whispered as she raised her head and looked at the mirror in the corner. The room he had locked her in wasn't cold and damp as one might expect of a demon. It was rather big and if it weren't for everything else it could have almost been a comfortable place. She continued to look into the mirror but she wasn't really seeing it.

It was a rare thing for a vision to grace her when in the relm of the waking. Most of them having occured durring a fitful sleep but this one came to her so strong it was almost as though she had been transported directly from where she really was.

For she did not find herself on a hard floor in a frightening palace with the evil that was the demon. She instead found herself laying upon a soft floor made entirely of cloud and she found before her the lower portion of a long flowing pink robe.

"Princess Zelda welcome," came a voice from somewhere above her. cautiously she looked up to find the sorce. As Zelda's eyes traveled upwards she realized that the pink robe seemed to have been made of such fabric that she had never before laid eyes on. Traveling on over the modestly dressed body she came to the face of a kind and smiling pink haired woman. The most beautiful that she had ever seen which ment that she must have been a goddess.

"Where am I?" Zelda asked as she sat up a little. She couldn't place it but the presence of the woman was some how familiar to her. It also felt fairly comforting.

"You are in my palace. . . and I am Cupidia." Was the answer she recieved. Zelda's eyes widened as she realized exactly who she was sitting before was in fact a goddess.
