Chapter 0: Separation

This is just a small prologue that covers the main starting point of the story.

~~~'~,~@ Chapter 0: Separation @~'~,~~~
"Draco," a young lady said. "I don't think this relationship will work out any longer."
"What?" replied a half dragon, half human male. "You mean to say we're"¦"
"Breaking up? Yeah"¦" He could hardly believe his ears.
"But"¦why? We've been so good together and have gone through a lot of tough times. To leave now"¦is one hell of a stab in the back."
"I know, Draco, but I'm sorry. This is the way it has to be"¦"
And with that, the young lady hung up the phone.
The young lady's name was Vicious. Miss Rose A. Vicious, a near-demon in form, but a dark angel at heart. Her long, flowing, silver locks came down to her perfectly-shaped buns, and her sneer was devilish enough to send shivers down anyone's spine"¦but not to Draco. Draco loved nearly everything about her, including her evil smile. He also loved the fact that she was 18, and only six months younger than him. The thing he loved most of all, was that she was the only one who understood his feelings and was there to help him when he needed it the most.
The half-dragon's name was Draco"¦Prince Draco Falconi of the Sand Ocean province. He was rather tall and well-built, and had a commanding voice that could strike fear in nearly every heart, save for one. The one heart he could not scare was that of Rose Vicious, the one that he had fallen in love with since they met only four months before this date. Rose also loved Draco, but for different reasons. For one, Draco was one of only a handful of men who knew how to satisfy a woman in the most pleasurable ways. Second, Rose loved a well-built man who would use his strength to make the nights unforgettable.
What had caused her to break up with Draco? Maybe he was too forceful during their passionate lovemaking. Or maybe he was overprotective of the one that he loved. But one thing is for sure; whatever reasons Rose gave Draco, he never bought any of them. He knew there was still a flame to their torches, but it takes two to tango, and the female wasn't receiving the signals correctly. All hope for these lovers seemed lost"¦
Or was it?
The date was August 20th, 2005. This was the first day in three months that Draco was single; he had lost the one that he truly loved early that morning when he tried to invite her to his residence for a romantic dinner for that evening. From the way that Draco was walking, one could tell that he was very depressed about losing her. From the way Draco talked to his family, to the servants, and to his closest friends, one could tell he was heartbroken. In fact, he was so down that he forgot the promise he made to another young lady, a lady that he had broken up with shortly before he realized that he was in love with Rose.
Four months ago, Draco was dating the sister of the most famous racecar driver on the circuit. He was dating Lt. Jessie Jay Falcon, sister to Captain Falcon, of the F-Zero Circuit, an experimental new sport that may prove to be popular in the decades to come. Jessie was much shorter than Draco, but a little taller than Rose. The one time before that Rose and Jessie met face to face, Jessie ended up with a scar over her left eye due to an unexpected katana swipe. Jessie, however, still managed to bring Rose to her knees, but not before Draco stepped in to stop the fighting, as it was clear that both were tiring from their slashing with their blades. Draco had been slashed when he stepped in on the fight, but the wounds were not deep, so they healed pretty quickly.
Jessie's silky black hair came to the small of her back, but not quite reaching her rear end. Her baby blue eyes were enough to drive any man mad with lust. Her blue uniform contrasted very well with her pale skin, to give a more focal look to the clothing. She also wore white gloves and boots to protect her; she was a clean freak, after all. But the most important of her features were her perfectly-shaped breasts, the main course of any man's appetite. If it weren't for her near-revolting attitude towards men, she would have had close to ten different relationships by the time she turned twenty.
The promise that Draco had made to Jessie was that if he and Rose ever broke up, that Jessie may still be willing to support him, and in a rare event, try to date him one more time. It took Draco nearly two years to understand his feelings for Jessie, only to have their relationship cut short by Rose, who practically took Jessie's lifeline away from her. But now, the curse that caused Jessie so much pain had walked out on the man whom she once carried around as a trophy for all to see.
It wasn't for two more days before Draco remembered Jessie and decided to call her. The call was brief, as she was at a racetrack, watching her brother take the checkered flag after fifty laps, but it was a call that would start a chain of events that would very well lead to something a little more than brilliant"¦
"Hello, this is Jessie." A hoarse voice shouted over waves of cheering fans.
"Jessie? It's Draco! Where the hell have you been!? I've been worried sick for you, you don't write or call! I thought we were supposed to be friends or something." Draco started.
"Draco!? What's wrong? Did something happen between you and that thorn in my ass?" Jessie emphasized the word "˜thorn'.
"Yes, but I will only tell you if you agree to meet me at the mansion for dinner at oh"¦6:15 PM?" Draco laughed on the inside as he said this.
"Of course! If you're in need of support with your problems, I'll see what I can do, okay?" Jessie said cheerily.
"Thanks, Jessie. See you then?"
"Yup. See you then!"
The call was ended. For Draco"¦time stood still as he awaited the arrival of his ex girlfriend.
Seven o'clock struck. He finally noticed a pair of lights ascending the driveway and parking within the spacious garage.
"She's finally here. Thank God. This is going to be hard to explain." Draco sighed.
