Chapter 2
Worried Doubts


“What happened Bass?” Lindsay asked. Bass was in horrible shape when the guards brought him and Treble in. She had to use her healing powers to heal both of them up. She’s hoping its not the Blood Tribe Hunters.

“Something very evil is coming, I’m sure you know about it.”

“Of course I know everything. I am a demon sorcerer no doubt.”

Treble was sniffing the kids and picking up who’s who. He noticed that Zephyer was Lindsay and Zero’s son and the other two were Soldjer and Signas’. Bass noticed as well when Zephyer came over to his mother.

“Mamma. Who’s he?”

“It’s a friend of ours son.”

Melissa and Leon were petting Treble who loved the attention. They giggled as they played with him.

“Hey Bass!” said X who was coming over along with the rest of the gang.

“Hi X. So Demi, this your son?” he said looking down at Zephyer.

“Of course.”

Zero came over and hugged Lindsay. “Oh hey Bass.”

“I see. So both of Dr. Wily’s creations have continued the next generation eh?”

Lindsay blushed.

“So what’s you been up to Bass?” asked Zero.

“Well I was out and got attacked by some unknown droids while looking for information leading to Sigma or the Blood Tribe Hunters. I have no idea where they came from. They appeared out of no where and began shooting at us. I think they were hiding something secretly since we were far from the continent. Plus I have been getting information that a spy is in this building.”

Lindsay nodded. “I know but I don’t know who it is. I’m hoping it’s not Sigma.”

“It’s not Demi. It’s someone far worse than he.”

She was surprised. Someone far worse and strong? She’s now very suspious at all the reploids in the headquarters. Looks like I better keep an eye on the reploids that are here, except for my friends and family.

Zephyer, Melissa, and Leon were playing with Treble who’s enjoying playing with them.

Signas and Soldjer watched as the kids were playing and were taking pictures. The kids were taking turns riding on Treble’s back as he ran around. The kids laughed and giggled.

“Want a drink Bass?” asked Axl.

“Sure.” Bass, X and Axl went over to Max to get a drink.

Zero looked at his wife. “What did he say?”

“Nothin’. I’ll tell you about it when we go to our quarters.”

Zero nodded and nuzzled her.

Soldjer was talking to Alia. “So you’re going to have your wedding next month?”

“Yeah. X and I have been looking forward to this for a long time, but you know how he is. He’s very busy.”

“Yeah same with you. We’re all busy since the maverick activity has been erupting.” Said Soldjer.

The party continued till 12am since the kids were getting tired. Bass and Treble decided to stay at the headquarters till they find out who the spy is. Lindsay was also keeping an eye on every repliod in the building. Still, there is no sign on the spy.


A shadowy figure laughed. “They have no clue on who I am, even my stupid sister Soldjer. Soon sister. Soon, you will die by my hands! Bwahhhhaaahaaahaaa!!”

Lindsay was having nightmares again. This time it’s the prediction of the future. Zero was holding her close to him as always as they slept.

Nightmare

A purple winged figure was laughing mencingly as it held Soldjer by the throat.

“Let go of her you mortal!!” Lindsay said as she charged at it.

It just laughed as it looked to Soldjer who was in bad shape. She was bleeding and her wings were torn. “Die!” It said as it shot a beam at her core. Her body exploded and blood was spilled.

Lindsay was in rage now and her eyes glowed redder. “You.. you... MONSTER!!! YOU SHALL DIEEE!!!” She roared as she transformed. But the figure laughed as it charged at her. “Now you die.” It said. It punched right in her chest as blood splilled.

“Gaah... haaa.aaaahh...?!!!” She coughed up blood.

Lindsay woke up immediately. Just a nightmare, but the dream is the sign of what is to come. And she’s not liking it one bit.


2 months later X and Alia were married. Lindsay didn’t attend due to the predictions she was having. She was very conserned of everyone at the headquarters. Everyone was worried about her. She has been in her room to meditate for the past 2 months. Zero understood and so did X. Bass and Treble attended the wedding for the first time of their lives. This brought back memories of the past of Bass’s girlfriend Roll. He had a crush on her and so did she. Years have passed and he never found her, fearing she was dead. He never got the chance to tell her how much he loved her.

After the wedding there was another party held till 2am. X and Alia were happy as well. They are planning on going vacation on their honeymoon since the two worked soo hard on covering maverick reports. It’s time for the two to have some R and R for awhile. Douglas and Cecilie were making love for the past few days.

Zero put Zephyer in his bed after the party since it was past his bed time and he was tired. He was more worried about Lindsay. She has been sitting on the bed and meditating. She has eaten and stuff, but its everytime she goes into the bedroom, she’s alone. Meditating for an unknown reason. He sat next to her on the bed. Her eyes closed and the candles on as light as she had her legs crossed and was meditating.

I must find more information on the spy. Who is it that is in this building? I must hurry since Soldjer and everyon’s life is at steak here!

So far she has come up empty. She looked everywhere, even on earth. Nothing. She hissed as she felt a lick on her neck. She snapped out of her meditation. “Z-Zero?”

“Hey babe. What’s the matter?” he started to fondle her.

“It’s the Soldjer death thing. I’m trying to find out on who the spy is before things can get worse! I’m running out of time!”

“I’m sure you will find the culprit soon enough. Now then, let me give you some love so you don’t have to worry too much on this thing, okay?”

“Alright.” She moaned as he slid inside of her.

They made love again for the rest of the night for Lindsay to get her mind off the whole future thing. Soon enough she forgot about it and continued to make love to Zero.


Soldjer and Signas were talking in their bedroom. Melissa and Leon were sleeping.

“I’m sure glad that X and Alia got married and will have a time off from all the exhausting work.” She said.

“Yeah I gave them a month of vacation so they can relax and rest. I’m sure this will clear their mind so they don’t have to worry about doing maverick reports.” He said as he read a book.

Soldjer smiled. “I think it’s time to get some sleep.”

“You’re right. I am tired.” He yawned tiredly. So did she as she turned off the light and he put his book down and they cuddled up and slept.

Bass and Treble were keeping an eye on things in the headquarters looking for the spy. But the dark aura is around the building. Soon enough the spy will show it’s face and there will be a greater battle that everyone will see.

“I scence great evil here Treble.” He said.

The wolf barked in agreement.


The next morning, Soldjermon woke up finding a note on her nightstand. Leon and Melissa went to play with Zephyer while Lindsay and Zero were out in the diner hall. Last night Lindsay had the vision again, this time a threat. She knew about it but decided to let Signas and Soldjer find out about it first. Zero however was worried from the beginning.

Soldjer began to open the note and read it. Signas was reading it with her as well. The letter was written in blood but there was no name.

You’re the next target to be killed, Soldjermon!

Soldjer shivered. Someone in the building is out to kill her, but who? Signas read the note as well. He’s the general of the headquarters. He began to worry about his wife. He has to take action immediately or things could get worse.
