Jubei

Chapter Summary: Kotaro and Samanosuke reach Yagyu Village, and meet up with Jubei.

A/N: Forgot to make a disclaimer… well, here it is! I don’t own anything. Nothing much else to say… next chappie’s almost planned. This one's a bit romantic and fluffly, plot is a bit more explained... ^^.

Degree of Friendship

Chapter 2: Jubei

We’ve reached Yagyu Village, just as I had thought, early in the morning. Can’t help it if Samanosuke’s slower than me, since he’s a samurai, although some are pretty quick. Our first destination in the village is Jubei’s house. It’s still where it was before Nobunaga attacked, about two or three months ago. A very big house. It sounds weird; I’ve only been gone two days, yet I missed Jubei.

It’s not a very big village. We’re slowly rebuilding, but a few people have already moved. It’s nice to see some activity around again. Last time I got close to here, some buildings had been burnt down. Everybody was dead; it was full of corpses. A really disturbing sight. No wonder why Jubei was so into killing Nobunaga. When my village was attacked, I had no idea what was going on, as people were too busy protecting me then telling me what was happening. Maybe it was a good thing though, since I would have tried saving them, risking my life and ending up killed. I learnt later that it was Nobunaga who had attacked; thinking that if the Hojo clan would lose his spies, that he’d win easily. A lot of people died as well, but me and some friends managed to survive.

I’m quite tempted to jump in Jubei’s arms as I see him, but I don’t do it. Not because there’s someone with me, and that I spent my night with this guy… ok yeah it’s because of that. I should have warned him that I had someone waiting for me here, and he deserves to know. Like about everybody in my situation, I’m scared of a possible bad reaction.

But now, getting Samanosuke to Jubei’s my priority. I enter the house and peek around; as I don’t see him in the hallway, he must be in the living room. “Jubei?”

“Kotaro? I’m glad you’re back” he says, apparently relieved. “Did you find him?”

“Yes, I did.”

He sighs of relief again, and looks at me with a smile. “You’re simply wonderful.”

That’s something I knew already, to tell the truth. I would have hated to come back without the other samurai, would have looked like I didn’t care, and that’s the exact opposite. I care… maybe too much, although I wonder if it’s possible to care too much for a country. Maybe I’m driven by love. And it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s the case. So in answer to his compliment, I smile back and bow my head, hiding my blush in the process.

When I’m pretty sure I’m not that red anymore, I turn my head in Samanosuke’s direction and motion to come in the room, which he does. They now stand at about two feet from each other, maybe fighting themselves to let the other speak up first.

With a low bow, Jubei has finally said something. “Welcome in Yagyu village, Samanosuke Akechi. I am very honoured to meet you, and that you agreed to help us.” Here they go with their formal stuff…

“It is I who thank you. Together, we shall bring death to Nobunaga.”

And add corniness to that. I hope such formalities won’t slow us down every time they start a conversation. Weeks will pass before we can get through the defenses, and maybe even more to reach Nobunaga. Time for me to do something. “We surely don’t want to stand up all day long making nice little sentences to see who’s helping who, and who’s happier to do so. Jubei, maybe our guest is hungry, or needs rest.”

“You’re right, Kotaro. Do you want something to eat, to drink? Or do you simply want to rest?”

“Hmmm… maybe we should all eat some. Especially the boy.” To them, I’m either “the kid”, or “the boy”, nothing much else. Why am I always treated like a child when I’m not one anymore? Is it because I still look like one? Oyu’s young, well she’s still older than I am, and an adult by law… three years to go…

Jubei nods at the other samurai, and then turns to me. “Come on. Let’s prepare something.”

“Got it!” If there’s a way I can help him, by any ways, I’ll do it. Whether it be fighting monsters or cooking, I’m always ready to help people. So I follow to the room where he keeps the food, and this time, I can’t resist but jump on his back. “Aren’t you happy to have me back by your side?”

He turns his head and gives me a quick peck on the cheek. “Of course I am. But now’s not really the time to get all lovey-dovey, hmm?”

“Being on your back doesn’t mean I wanna get lovey-dovey.” Even though that’s what I want. I can live without it though… oh wait. I can’t. But I’ll live for now. That I can, since I totally understand the situation. We do have a guest here, and he’s not a “normal” guest if I could say it this way. “What did you do while I was gone?”

“Just planned out where we should go next and helped around. There’s nothing much to do beside that while we wait.”

That must be weird for him and do nothing, or maybe that’s a good thing. He did a lot of stuff after Nobunaga attacked; he does deserve to rest. Sadly, it won’t last long, because in a few days, we’re doing it again. So I hope he’ll let us go back to our ordinary lives after.

“At least you weren’t gone for a long time. Seems I will have something to do. Go back at entertaining you.”

“That’s the spirit!” I drop from his back after hugging him a last time, heading for one of the shelves. “Want me to get the rice?”

He nods, picking up some fish to prepare it. My guess is that we’re eating sushi tonight, which isn’t changing much from the others, thinking about it. But I like it so I don’t complain. And even if I would, wouldn’t change anyways. I could always cook myself something, but I don’t feel like it. Better let Jubei prepare the food.

As he’s doing the cooking what I gave him, I lean on the wall and observe him, my arms crossed on my chest. I like this guy, despite he’s not very talkative and tends to appear cold. We’re different as night and day, yet we got so much in common. We’re both orphans raised by our fathers, leaders of our clans at a young age, that kind of stuff. In the end, we’re completing each other. On top of that, he’s hot! Maybe I’ve got something for samurais… well it’s not a “maybe”. I do have a weak spot for strong men that don’t fear anything, not even death. I probably need someone serious to keep my feet on the ground from time to time. Literally. I could get hurt on top of those trees. But I love it…

“Can you give me some seaweed, Kotaro?”

“Yep. Seaweed coming right through!” I turn back at the shelf to pick some up and walk to Jubei, snuggling against his body, trying to get a reaction out of him.

The only thing I get out of him is a sigh… and a grin. “If I do whatever you want me to do, will I be able to finish that after?”

What can I reply to that? I smirk back to him and move to his front, putting his arms around my waist. Normally, I’d have my dose of sex for a while, but having spent some time with another guy reminded me how it was great. And I love great stuff. “I promise that you’ll be able to go back to your cooking.” Still, I can’t help but feel guilty. What if he doesn’t want to be with me anymore? What if I find myself alone? I won’t know unless I say it, but I don’t want to hurt him… he never did a thing like that to me, anyways that I’m aware of. I feel like I should tell him. He has the right to know. “Jubei… I got something to tell you, and you have the total right to get mad at me… but I don’t want it though happen because I love you…”

“Is something the matter?”

“I’m gonna be honest…” My head down, I spit it out, unable to look at him in the eyes. Am I the only person that goes from horny to feeling bad in two seconds? “I… I slept with Samanosuke… the night we met. And well, you DID tell me that I could do everything to get him back here…” Nice way to defend myself. The thing is that I didn’t even to do that kind of convincing.

A second after, he’s gotten to my level, his hands on my shoulders, looking straight at me. He lifts his right hand... I can’t look anymore, so I close my eyes. But instead of feeling pain on my cheek as I expected, his hand has wound up in my hair. I open one of my eyes suspiciously. “You’re not mad?”

He’s smiling… he’s gotta be crazy or something! “No, I’m not. I know how much you’re curious. And being in your shoes, maybe I would have done the same thing. He is cute after all. But not as much as you.”

I think I got scared for nothing. And I’m not usually scared! Just shows how much I love him. Still, I’m surprised that he hasn’t reacted in a bad way. Oh well. This little bit of worry has made my sex drive return to zero, but I don’t think it’s the same for Jubei. When I press my body against his, I can feel that he’s hard. Already in his kimono, it doesn’t take me fifteen minutes to get on my knees and find exactly what I want under the single layer of cloth. I wrap my right hand on the length before me and start to lick it, making circles on the sensitive flesh with my tongue, running my teeth along a vein. Playing with Jubei’s fun. I get all sort of reactions he would never have normally, and that turns me on.

Enough with the teasing. I take the member in my mouth, bobbing my head up and down, concentrating the tongue on the tip. Gotta withdraw a few times to humidify my lips though, but beside that it’s fine. It feels pretty weird giving a blowjob in a kitchen while someone’s waiting for the food. I hope it won’t take too much time for that rice to cook so Samanosuke doesn’t come in the room. That would feel even weirder.

Pushing those thoughts aside, I continue to suck him off, closing my eyes as I feel his hands running in my hair, urging me to go faster. So I obey, thinking about deep-throating him. Would be nice to do. I can picture him moaning loudly… and alerting the other guy… maybe that’s not a good idea after all. Oh well. Whatever that will happen, will happen.

I take the whole thing in my mouth, and he reacts just like I thought he would. I bet there’s someone who can hear him in the next room… what I’d give to see his face! Or maybe he’s thinking about him! I wonder what those two would be like together. Hot, steamy samurai sex. That’s another thing I’d give a lot to see. Makes me want to hook them up together for one night. Just because I slept with someone else doesn’t mean I don’t love Jubei anymore. The opposite happened, I think. Now I’m sure of it.

So I suck even harder on his member, his hands literally clinging to my hair. It does hurt a bit… but it should be fine soon. If he can let go of it someday, that is. It’s a good feeling nonetheless, since I know I’m in good hands, and that Jubei is as well. It’s almost unbelievable… I’m here, sucking another guy off because he apparently got turned on when I told him that I slept with someone else. Life is weird, eh?

And it’s even weirder when the next thing I know is that I’m about to gag, since he just climaxed and shooting his seeds down my throat. I wait a short moment before withdrawing, closing my eyes in the process, breathing deeply, and I look up at him with a wide smile. “Told ya I’m always happy to help!”

He shakes his head, and kneels to steal a quick kiss before getting up and checking at the rice that’s cooking. “Should be done soon. Want to help me do the rest while you’re here?”

“Alright.”

Now that everything’s ready to eat, we get out of the kitchen/storage room and into the living room, where Samanosuke still is. I think the heavy blush on my cheeks is a strong sign of why we were so slow. It’s very awkward being in the same room as two men I’ve slept with, even though none of them seem to be mad about that fact. Which is great. Last thing I want is them to fight over me while they should fight alongside. If it’d be in other circumstances, I wouldn’t mind them doing that, but yeah… gotta get rid of Nobunaga Oda someday. And it better be done while we can have other fighters with us.

The more, the merrier!

I got out of my daydreaming when Jubei started to talk, always in that low, quiet voice. Although, he seemed a bit interested by the other samurai… “So, you are Mitsuhide Akechi’s nephew?”

“Yes. He was the one who first killed Nobunaga. I wonder exactly why the demons revived him, and not anyone else.”

“Maybe because the war simply destabilizes us, and the demons are seeking for that. They can feed on us…” I say absently, more interested in my food than the conversation. I was starting to get hungry, anyways since the blowjob. So nothing is more welcome than sushi and wasabi!

“You’re right, Kotaro. While Oda causes turmoil, we are easier preys for them.”

Jubei nods at Samanosuke’s comment, the latter being right. To me, anyways. It could be a totally different reason, but this one made sense. To demons, we’re food, nothing else. I heard that they even raised humans like we do for chickens or buffalos. Do chickens view us this way as well, or don’t they care for what’s going on? Are they intelligent enough? I think I’ll wait a while to eat meat from raised animals… “So getting rid of him a second time would prove those damned demons that we’re the strongest in this world! Hence why we gotta team up, obviously.” Basically, I was right all the way. I’ve made that reasoning ages ago… okay not ages. A few months; when we started to fight against his armies.

Well, without all that stuff we have to do all over again, it’d be heaven. Hell, I have two cute guys to myself! And they have each other as well. And they have me!

Anyways, today’s gonna be a long day. We’re not leaving straight away, and we might assist in rebuilding the remaining buildings. Hopefully, when we come back, everything should be in order and ready to welcome new people. Also hoping that Nobunaga doesn’t attack a second time.

-

I’m dead. So to bed I go right away… after getting a light snack. I wonder if Jubei has any candy, even though that’s the last thing I should eat before sleeping, but I can’t help it. I love candy. Just like any guy my age. Well there’s none in the storage… unless he hides it somewhere! Which I doubt he’d do anyways. Better tell myself that there’s none and go to sleep. I don’t think they’re going there right now though; they’re still in the living room. I can even hear them from here. No wonder why Samanosuke could hear us earlier…

“So you got a ninja living with you?”

I can picture everything that’s happening, their every move. Right now, Jubei’s nodding. “Yes. Ever since the last fight against Nobunaga. But it’s not bothering me at all; I like having him around. And he helped me so much back there. I can’t leave him all by himself. And he’s cute.”

“Very intelligent as I take it. He found me only in a few hours, while I bet some have been searching for me since I got that little lodge in the forest. It takes skills that not a lot of people have.” He’s not even in the same room and he’s making me blush like hell. “You two are together? Anyways that’s what I got from what he told me.”

Bet there’s another nod. That’s all he does anyways. “Yes, we are. And I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

He never said that to me… he’s doing it now, but never in front of me. But he does it to a complete stranger. It’s not pissing me off, he sounds serious, but I wanna hear him repeating all that to me someday. Maybe he just found the words. Or maybe he’s waiting for a better time. Still, I’m happy. He loves to have me around!

“You’re not the only one who’d be glad of this situation.”

Despite how much fun it is to hear all that stuff, I can barely keep my eyes open, so I guess I’m gonna let them close for now…

~ End of chapter ~

A/N 2: And that was the second chapter. I’m gonna get to work on the 3rd right now, since everything’s almost printed in my mind. Thanks for reading again! ^^
