2) Change of Order
Scarlet knocked on the door with her left hand as she held the platter with her right hand. She then placed her left hand behind her back as she waited for the patron to answer the door. She didn't have long to wait though for she soon heard heavy footsteps approach the door and the door swung into the room to reveal who had ordered the sushi...
It was Balthazar!
For a moment, the two just stood there and stared at each other for different reasons.
Scarlet tried not to show it, but her body has stiffened up out of shock and fear for she had read the Book of Evil when she was younger. When he was younger, Balthazar had been abandoned by his family in the Haunted Forest. After hours of roaming, lost and hungry, the young Lupe came across a field with a strange purple glow. He went over to it and found a group of Dark Faeries in the midst of celebration. When he asked them for help, the Dark Faeries stopped their mirth only to attack him with sticks and stones. While he ran off into the woods, yelping in pain, the Dark Faeries laughed. From that moment, he gained an intense hatred of Faeries and as he learned how to survive in the forest, he also learned how to capture the tiny creatures and keep them in bottles. His original intent was to torture them but he soon found that he could make loads of money when some Neopets who wanted the bottled Faeries approached him. Since then, he's made a living off of being a Faerie bounty hunter.
Though her body tried to hide it, Balthazar could see in her eyes that she was shocked to see him. He inwardly smirked at this as he kept his outer appearance ice cold and frosty. At the same time though, Balthazar looked over the young Kougra and his eyes ate her up. He almost couldn't believe that such a beautiful creature was up her in the mountain. Just as a small smile began to creep up in the corner of his muzzle, he snapped himself out of it and returned to his frosty exterior.
"What do you want?" he asked in his usual gruff manor and it was enough to shake Scarlet out of her shock.
"Room Service, you ordered Sushi," Scarlet said as she relaxed enough to pull her left arm out from behind her back and used her left hand to lift the cover off the platter to reveal the Sushi, Wasabi and chop sticks. Balthazar glanced at the food and nodded slightly as an idea crept its way into his foul mind.
"Bring it into the room then," Balthazar said as he turned his back on her and walked back into the hotel room. As he did so, Scarlet stood there shocked once again. Whenever she brought up a small order on a platter, she'd pass the whole thing off to the customer and instruct them to leave the dishes out by the door to be collected later. If she had a cart, then she'd go into the room and leave the whole cart as well as the same instructions. She had never been instructed to bring a platter into the room before and she wasn't sure what to do at first.
"Well?" came the Lupe's voice from inside the room and Scarlet jumped slightly as she came back to her senses. In her moment of indecision, Scarlet had forgotten that she had to follow the customer's command...within reason of course. So, she placed the cover back on the platter and waked into the room. Yet the moment that she walked into the room though, Balthazar pushed a button on a special remote and quietly, the door closed and locked behind the red Kougra as she unknowingly entered a dangerous situation.
As she entered the room, Scarlet silently took note of the room. The room was fairly large with a king sized bed dressed in midnight blue linens, dark stained furniture, big screen TV, marbled bathroom extension, bay window lined with red cushions, a window that was as long as the wall but half as tall, cream colored walls, and blood red carpets. As she walked into the room, Balthazar watched her as he sat in one the two chairs by the only table in the room.
"Where would you like this sir?" Scarlet asked as she tried to keep the nerve in her voice even though she felt like throwing the dishes at him and bolting out of the room. Balthazar felt that smile creep back into the corner of his muzzle once more, as he couldn't help but admire her courage.
"Right here will do," Balthazar said as he gestured his left hand at the table.
"Ok Sir," Scarlet said as she bit back a frown and approached the table. Balthazar watched her with this placid look on his face as she walked up to the table and carefully placed the covered platter on the table so as not to spill the Wasabi. As she bent down near the table, Scarlet was close enough for Balthazar to catch her scent as he breathed in slowly through his nose.
"Will that be all Sir?" Scarlet asked as she stood back up and the Lupe frowned.
"Don't call me Sir, I have a name you know," Balthazar said, obviously annoyed.
"Yes...Balthazar," Scarlet said, as she had to force herself to say his name due to the fact that she had gotten into the habit of calling the customers by formal titles such as Sir, Mam, Mister or Miss. Scarlet frowned slightly and he accepted this tone with a small grin...for the moment.
"Please enjoy your order Balthazar," Scarlet said with a bow and then turned on her heel to make a hasty retreat, as she was ready to leave the danger zone. Balthazar was surprised by this and jumped up to his feet as his sudden action knocked the chair over onto its back. He was about to chase after her but soon regained his composure when he remembered that he had locked the door. Something that Scarlet soon realized when she briskly walked up to the door, grabbed the doorknob and turned it only to find that it wouldn't work. Scarlet stood there with this stunned look on her face and tried it a couple more times before she gave up out of frustration. She whirled around to question the Lupe only to be surprised by the fact that he was no longer in the chair but just barely a foot away from her as he stared at her with this hungry look on his face.
"U...Uh Si...Balthazar, your," Scarlet started and swallowed harshly, "Your order is getting cold."
"I'm sorry to say, my dear. That it's going to go to waste."
"Why is that?" Scarlet asked, curiously enough.
"Because, I'm not hungry for Sushi," Balthazar said as he approached Scarlet. Scarlet's breath hitched in her throat as she tried to take a step back to get away from him only to have her back make contact with the door. Scarlet began to feel panicked as Balthazar placed his right paw like hand on her hip and his left paw like hand on her cheek as he stared into her wide eyes with his own lust filled eyes. She was trapped and her panic filled mind wouldn't allow her to think of a way out of this situation.
In the next couple of heartbeats, the two merely stared into one another's eyes as Scarlet slowly regained her senses. Yet before she could fully regained her true state of mind, the blue Lupe silently leaned his face closers to hers as he moved his body closer to hers at the same time. Scarlet took in a sharp breath of surprise as Balthazar gently placed his lips against hers in a tender kiss. During the entire kiss, Scarlet stared at one of the most feared Lupe in all of Neopia with wide eyes of shock as her body went ridged beneath his as he continued to kiss her with his eyes closed, as if they were in some sort of soap opera or romance movie.
'My first kiss! Sweet Fyora, this can't be my first kiss,' Scarlet screamed mentally as she called out to the Faerie Queen. Yes, this was her first kiss and the truth of the matter was that she had hoped she would have experienced it under more romantic settings with someone she loved. When this thought came to her mind, her eyes began to soften as small tears began to bead up in the corners of her eyes. Balthazar then broke off the kiss and opened his eyes to see the red Kougra before him.
'Yes, this is real. This is happening...' Balthazar thought to himself as stared at the beautiful Neopet before him in a sort of trance. Surprised, Scarlet noticed the way that he was looking at and became confused as why he would doing so. At the time though, she had intended to ask him as to why he was looking at her such a manor yet the question fled her mind the moment she felt his paws feelings up her buttock and one of her breasts. Scarlet let out a small shriek of surprise and her body began to freeze up once more as Balthazar leaned in once more. At first, Scarlet thought that he was going to kiss her again but was caught off guard when his muzzle went after the right side of her neck as he peppered the fur covered flesh with kissed and light nibbles against the sensitive area where the neck curved gracefully into the shoulder.
Scarlet could feel a warmth begin to build inside her body as her breath began to come out in short yet heavy pants at the attention her body was receiving. She then closed her eyes as her head began to feel light from the panting and she noticed how most of the heat was pooling itself in her groin area. Yet she didn't have much time to contemplate this for in the next moment she was moving away from the door and she opened her eyes just in time to see the midnight blue comforter rising up to meet when in fact she was falling down to greet it. She opened her mouth and let out a small gasp as she collapsed face down onto the bed and bounced once before she settled in place. Yet she didn't remain there as she soon whirled around in time to see Balthazar as he approached her and the bed.
