Disclaimerstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;mso-ansi-language:EN-US'>:
Castlevania belongs to Konami not me. I am making £0.00 out of this fic, it is
written purely because I have a burning need to create. Although I would like
to own Alucard . . . then he’d be mine.

Warning: this fic contains really style='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'>Light YAOI (GuyXGuy), blood play and vampires (is this a necessary
warning for a Castlevania fic?). However although the first few chapters are
very easy going the later chapters
include, Heavy Yaoi, Violence and discussing of sensitive subjects.

Rating: NC-17

Authoress notestyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;mso-ansi-language:EN-US'>: I have
changed aspects. I am aware Alucard’s eyes are a soft grey-ish colour, I was
however inspired to change this as I have been before in my other fics.

Chapter Two

The next worth while event that took
place we do dread to tell, for it causes pain even now. The mothers’ death at
the hands of those she helped.

But before we tell this you must
understand
Adrianstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> is a dunpeal
which means he may stand sunlight if he is kept shaded but a few hours of
direct sunlight will make him very ill and most likely be fatal, the way they
would any vampire. It is not however the light that kills him but the heat, he
may usually stand two hours of direct sunlight before he falls ill, three
before he will collapse and three and a half before he will die.

Please forgive the digression but it was
something you needed to know.

We believe he was six when this happened,
there had been a lot of activity in the village and the mother was going to
take him to his fathers again where they would both stay until things calmed
down but they waited to late.

Shouts
woke
Adrian in the late morning. He blearily
opened his eyes and sat up blinking unfocused around his small room.

“Where’s
the child” a male voice yelled
style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Adrianstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> blinked confused

“Leave
the child, we have the woman” a second male voice answered

“I want
the child” the first voice paused “kill the tree but leave the seed the tree
will grow anew” the voice rationalised

“Well
spoken and true, find the boy” the other relented

“Mother!”
Adrian called out alerting the men to his
whereabouts foolishly but it is a Childs instinct to call for its parents when
frightened.

The door
opened and Adrian had time to make out three village men before he was struck,
the blow would have knocked a normal child into unconsciousness but it only
cause Adrian to scream.

“He is of
the devil!!” was the cry that rose when
style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Adrianstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> tried to stumble
to his feet, hands clasping his head

Adrian was struck again, crying out as he
fell; slowly he curled up and whimpered as consciences left him.

Adrian awoke to a world of noise and
pain, the sounds of a mob. The heat from the sun beat down unforgiving, making
his head spin more, he must have been out here for some time. He body felt
aflame and heavy weights around his throat, wrists and ankles made him realise
he was bound, cuffs around his wrists and ankles linked to a chain connected to
a collar around his throat.

“Mother!”
he called out

style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Adrianstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>” the reply was
quiet and hardly heard over the sound of the mob, it lead him to try and look
up, he could not move much but he could just make out his mother bound to a
cross as if crucified.

“Mother!
I’ll save you” he trashed wildly

“No! If
my death can help others I’d gladly surrender my life” his mother sounded
foggy, her words slightly slurred obviously drugged.

“Mother!”
Adrian cried out again struggling wildly
against his bonds, but weakened by the light and heat. Upon noticing his
wakefulness the men tried to cor it, it, a strike across his jaw made him
gyrate backwards pulling his chains taught, another strike and he heard more
than felt his left wrist snap.

Feeling
was almost gone, the only things left were, anger and the pure scorching heat.

style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Adrianstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>!” his mother
yelled hearing her cry out like that only enforced the anger the men moved to
strike again

“Don’t
touch me Human! Mother!”
Adrianstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> screeched wildly
snapping at the men’s hands with small fangs, still pulling on his bonds,
trying to claw at the men with bound and broken wrists.

style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Adrianstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>! Please” he
mother yelled instantly causing him to cease she sounded upset but with him rather
than the ones hurting them “please Adrian I understand if you hate them but
please don’t act on your hatred, please don’t cause them pain they have enough
already” men were bringing torches now, lighting the cross his mother hung on,
Adrian’s vision blurred “please tell your father I love him and ys wys will”

The
flames began eating at the wooden cross and
style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Adrianstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> screeched, no
words just an animalistic cry of desperation, until the heat from the sun and
the wounds he’d received drove him into unconsciousness, the image of his
mothers death burned forever into his memory.

We are unsure how it happened or why he
did it but the man Franz some how got hold of
style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Adrianstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> during all of
this and maybe out of the goodness of his heart saved him. He did not know of the
father, believing the mother to be my only parent, perhaps he thought the
father dead or a vagabond of some sort, it matters little. He took style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Adrianstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> to the docks
where he paid a man to take him. style='font-size:8.0pt;fonmilymily:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Adrianstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> was placed on a
ship and taken over seas.

Vladimir
paced the entrance chambers gaining speed as his worry grew, he knew the fate
of his beloved Lisa and it pierced him to fell how powerless he was to stop her
death, thinking of it now . . . but no he would morr her her later, right now
he had to find his son.

His
frantic pacing increased again and Death reached out a bony hand to get his
attention

“My lord
relax, they will find him, he’s probably wandering lost in the woods, I assure
you he is still breathing I bet my scythe on it”

Vladimirstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> was about to tell
Death where he could stuff his scythe when a wolf bounded into the hall,
skidding on the polished floor, almost colliding with style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Vladimirstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>.

“Tell me!
Did you find him?”
Vladimirstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> yelled grasping
the wolf as it shifted back to a human-ish form,

“my . . .
lord” the werewolf gasped unable to breath due to Vladimir’s grip on his
throat, Vladimir released him and he continued after collecting air “my lord we
caught his scent in the village near the execution, we followed it until” he
paused not wanting to be the one to tell the lord this news “it reached the
docks”

Docks?
What was his child doing at the docks
style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Vladimirstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> growled low in
his throat the werewolf in front of him coward and trembled

“My lord
they took him over seas” he elaborated “the humans, they . . .” he did not
finish, a pale clawed hand struck him at the side of his head, sending his head
from his body, killing him.

“That
wasn’t very mature” Death muttered from behind
style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Vladimirstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>,

Vladimirstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> roared a sound
that sent every killable creature fleeing, a sound filled with pain, loss but
above all pure out of control rage. Shifting his own form to that of a bat’s style='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'>Vladimirstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> flew towards the
village that had destroyed what was most dear to him.

* * * *

On the
hill above a village a single bat landed before shifting almost gently into the
form of a man.
Vladimirstyle='font-size:8.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:windowtext'> glared at the
village and its inhabitants

“You have
taken that which is most precious to me” his voice was barley above a whisper
yet every villager heard it “you will suffer for you mistake”

His voice
rose to a roar loud enough to shatter glass and crumble stone

“You will
pay for this”

And with
that he descended upon the village.
