Chapter 2
Chapter 2
The hospital was recently built, in the past ten years from the looks of it, with a concrete base, but for the most part the building was glass. It stretched proudly into the sky, a shade of green somehow every hospital seemed to have. Yuri wandered around the base for a few minutes, looking for the symbol. It took her about twenty minutes, but eventually she found it, on the right side of the building, not too far away from the main entrance.
Yuri headed for it and looked it over, touching it. It had a faded yellow, runny paint job of something that should have perhaps flu flushed. But it was there. She looked around a few minutes, trying to see if anyone was watching her. She noticed that there was a trash can not too far from the symbol, typical, tin deal. It was ordinary enough. But since when did hospitals have those? Seemed to be off-sided too...
She reached into her pocket, her hand on her pepper spray, and approached it cautiously. There was nobody or nothing around her in the alley, just the small trash can. She almost expected a Scooby Doo villan to pop out and go 'Boo!' She closed her eyes and concentrated, then opened them again, using her Second Eyes. There was nothing of any supernatural item, in the alley, but the trash can still looked odd. Perhaps something was beneath it?
She lifted it up, and underneath she found a rock, and a note with a glyph symbol for 'Imbued' on it, and an address. It was a start. She wrote the address down in her notebook and replaced the trash caesolesolving to check the place out.
Step one of exploring the place was now complete. But what was step two? Getting inside and looking around? Or leaving signs? Or other..
Yuri decided that the best thing to do was retreat back to her dorm, and hope that the coffee wasn't too badly burned.
When she reached her dorm, the coffee could be best described as 'singed'. It could have been worse though. Could have burned down the dorm. She opened the window and dumped the whole pot. It splashed down to the ground blow and settled into the ground. Good thing she had more coffee stuffs. She started another pot and flopped down on her bed to think.
