Chapter 15
Sora’s head hurt and he was soaking wet, but he was in a great mood. He shivered violently as they stepped out into the icy December air, his arms wrapping around himself. “Remind me again why we had to play…” He shivered again. “…blitzball?”
Tidus shot him a grin. “You’re just sore because you suck.”
Sora shot him a mock glare and swung at his friend’s head, but didn’t put much effort into it…it was too cold. “I don’t suck.”
“Face it, Spiky…” Axel grinned at him. “…you suck. We’ve finally found something that the Great Sora can’t do.”
“Like you’re any better.” Riku looked sideways at his best friend, pulling his jacket tightly around his body as he shuddered. “You swim like a drowning monkey.”
Axel shot him a rude hand gesture and Sora laughed, a warm feeling making his heart hammer against his chest. Riku had stood up for him. He didn’t dwell on the warm feeling, he couldn’t…because Riku’s arm was now around his shoulders, hot breath in Sora’s ear. “Sora, when are you going to remember that in the winter we wear jackets?”
Truth be told, Sora had a hard time remembering there WAS a winter until he stepped out into the frigid cold. He had grown up on a tropical island…winter wasn’t really something he understood. Riku’s arm felt good around Sora’s shoulders, and Axel’s arm, as it wound loosely around his waist, also felt good. “A Sora Sandwich.” Axel declared cheerfully, making Roxas snort, Axel’s right hand wound far more tightly around him and…was that Axel’s hand in Roxas’ pocket? Sora decided he really didn’t want to know…some questions were better left unanswered.
“When I get in I’m going to take the hottest shower I can manage.” Roxas moaned, and Sora could see that like him, his brother had not prepared well for the cold weather. Axel grinned down at his boyfriend, and Roxas’ eyes narrowed slightly. “No, Axel. No. When I get in the shower, I’m damn well doing to do it alone.”
“But Roxie…” Axel’s tone was wickedly sweet. “…I can guarantee that I’ll make you warmer…” Roxas punched him in the side, making Axel wheeze.
This sparked a hearty round of laughter from Tidus, Wakka and Riku, Sora smiling to himself as they entered the castle. Christmas was two days away and he hadn’t been so happy in a long time.
Wakka and Tidus parted as they reached their room, and Axel was halfway through what Sora could tell was a particularly dirty joke when they turned the corner. Sephiroth was waiting for them outside of Sora and Riku’s room.
Riku’s brother looked paler than usual, and there were dark circles beneath his brilliant eyes, making them look even brighter than usual. He held a piece of paper in his right hand. Riku stopped dead, and slowly, his arm unwound from Sora’s shoulders. “Seph?”
Axel also looked serious, a frown on his face as he looked at the tall senior. “Riku…” Sephiroth licked his lips lightly. “…we got a message from home.”
Both Sora and Axel looked at Riku in alarm, Axel because he obviously knew what was going on, Sora because the way the blood suddenly drained from Riku’s face made him wonder if his friend was going to pass out. Wordlessly, he stepped forward and took the paper from his brother.
It became painfully obvious that whatever was written on that paper…was not good news. Riku’s face turned gray, and he stared blankly ahead for a moment. Axel stepped forward, and Sora could see that he looked pissed. “No. No, you don’t have to go. The train for Twilight Town left days ago. Why didn’t he send something before now? You two just can’t make it. It’s simple as that.”
Riku licked his lips. “He’s coming up to pick us up himself.”
Axel swore viciously, and now Sora could see that Roxas had caught some of the emotions. He looked surly, his eyes flashing. “What the hell is going on? What’s wrong?”
“Riku and I are going home for a Christmas Eve dinner with our half brothers.” Sephiroth explained, his voice tight.
Roxas opened his mouth, but Axel cut him off. “You don’t have to go!”
Riku looked up, and Sora felt something in his heart freeze. There was pain in his gaze, pain that had never been there before. “Riku?” Sora asked unhappily, catching some of his friend’s fear.
Riku glanced at Sora and his face relaxed somewhat. He looked sideways at Axel. “We’ll be home Christmas Eve. It’s only a 90 minute drive from Twilight Town…we should be home Christmas Eve after dinner.”
Axel crossed his arms over his chest. “What time?” He asked through gritted teeth.
Riku paused, but Sephiroth answered. “Midnight at the latest.” He replied quietly. “They won’t want us there longer than that.”
Axel looked apoplectic, but Riku was obviously no longer interested in discussing it, because he entered the room and closed the door. “Damn!” Axel slammed his fist against the wall.
Roxas grabbed his arm. “Axel, stop it.” He ordered, holding his boyfriend back. “Instead of destroying everything you touch, talk to me and tell me what’s wrong.”
Axel looked down at Roxas, his face ashen. He glanced at Sora. “I can’t.” He slumped, his eyes blazing. “I can’t.” He glanced at Sephiroth. “If you let something happen to him, I’ll kill you.” He promised. “For once, be what he needs you to be.”
Sephiroth looked as if Axel had slapped him, his eyes widening slightly before he looked away. Axel growled under his breath and stormed toward his room, unlocking it and throwing the door open with a bang that resounded down the hallway. Roxas sighed. “Let me talk to him.” He patted Sora’s arm. “Get changed and warm…and talk to Riku.” Sora nodded, but it was Sephiroth he wanted to talk to. He turned to Sephiroth…but the tall silver haired teen had vanished. Sora sighed and opened the door to his room.
Riku was throwing a change of clothing into a bag, half undressed. He turned sharply as Sora entered, but relaxed as he saw who it was. “I locked the bathroom door.” He murmured.
“That should please Roxas.” Sora replied quietly, frowning as he studied his friend. A flash of fear filled Sora’s heart even though he kept his voice light. “Though at least Axel will have to ravish him in the comfort of their own room rather than make us listen to it.”
A ghost of a smile crossed Riku’s face at Sora’s words, and he turned. “Get out of those wet clothes, numbskull.” He murmured, a fond note in his voice. “You’re going to freeze.”
Sora nodded and obediently pulled his warmest shirt out of the closet, pausing before picking up a pair of Riku’s sweatpants. “Do you mind?”
Riku glanced over. “No…go ahead.” Sora smiled at him and was relieved when Riku smiled slightly in reply.
Sora peeled his wet clothing off of his body quietly, breathing out a sigh of relief as he pulled the sweatpants up his hips. “Riku…” He turned to look at his friend. “…are you going to be okay when you go?” He asked quietly.
Riku froze. He had pulled on a pair of slacks, but his chest was still bare. A dark green collared shirt lay on the bed, a tie beside it. He turned slowly toward Sora, and the fear entered Sora’s heart as he saw the look in Riku’s eyes. “Yes.” Riku murmured and crossed the room, his arms winding around Sora’s waist. Sora opened his mouth, but couldn’t speak as he felt his bare chest press tightly against Riku’s. His mouth went dry. “Just…for a moment.” Riku murmured. “Let me hold you.”
Sora remained still, his heart hammering so hard against his ribcage, he could swear he could feel it move with each frantic thump. Hesitantly, his hands slid to loosely cup Riku’s back, and Riku shuddered against him. “I’ll come back.” He whispered. “I’ll be back for Christmas.”
Sora could hear the tight emotion in Riku’s voice and nodded against his chest. “I’ll be waiting.”
Riku’s arms tightened around Sora’s waist, and their eyes locked as Sora looked up. For one heart stopping moment, Sora was utterly certain that Riku was going to kiss him, and panic filled him. What was he supposed to do? He had never BEEN kissed before, what if he was bad at it? What if they bumped noses? Before he could launch into a full freak-out, Riku released a long breath and ruffled his hair. “Thanks, shrimp.” He whispered. “I’ll be back tomorrow night.”
Sora stared at his friend for a very long moment before he nodded once, sharply. “Okay.” He wordlessly pulled his shirt over his head, watching Riku finish dressing, zip his bag and head for the door.
He paused in the doorway, turning back toward Sora. A slight smile crossed his face. “Don’t look so serious, shrimp.” Riku ordered. “Smile.”
Sora looked at his friend and managed a smile, meeting Riku’s eyes. The words pushed at his lips as the emotion welled in his heart, but remained unsaid, hanging in the air between them. Riku’s eyes softened slightly before he turned and walked briskly down the hall.

Reno woke to pounding on the door to his room. Cracking one eye open, he turned his bleary gaze to the digital clock on the nightstand beside Rude…1:34 am. “What the HELL…” Groaning, Reno put his pillow over his head, but the pounding continued, more insistent, harder.
“What’s going on?” Rude sounded more awake than Reno felt, and Reno truly disliked him for it. His head felt muzzy, his body slow and lethargic.
“Reno!” A voice came from outside the door, and the pounding started again.
“Damn!” Reno swore viciously as loud as he could manage, throwing himself out of bed and lunging for the door. “All right, who’s fucking dead?!” He demanded, his eyes blazing. He stopped dead as he saw who was standing in his door.
Sora Hikari looked like crap. Dark circles made his blue eyes look even larger than normal, his face so white it was nearly translucent. His lip looked raw, as if he had been chewing on it, and his hands were shaking at his sides. Stunned by the sight of him like this, Reno wordlessly moved aside to allow the boy entrance into the room. “Sora…right?”
Sora nodded once. “Yeah.”
Reno ran his hands through his hair, grimacing at the feel. He needed a shower. His mouth tasted awful. “Sora…what the hell are you doing here?” He flipped on the light and winced as it hit his eyes, swearing under his breath.
Rude was up as well, looking concerned as he looked Sora over. “Are you okay?” He asked urgently.
Sora nodded quickly. “I…its Riku.”
Reno disliked beating around the bush, and he disliked it more when it was 1:30 in the bloody morning. He knew he was probably being an ass…and he didn’t really care. It wasn’t as if he hadn’t TOLD Sora that he was an ass. “Sora, get to the damn point.”
Sora gave him a disapproving frown, and Reno was taken aback by the expression. “Get bent.” He snapped. “I need your help.” He paused. “Riku and Sephiroth’s father sent for them…they said they were coming back tonight but they haven’t and I’m…” He trailed off. Worried…the word hung unspoken in the air.
Reno stared at the boy. God knew that Sora had reasons to be worried, even if he didn’t realize it. Reno knew that Riku and Sephiroth’s father was fourteen shades of crazy, Shinra Corp working closely with their sainted father to conduct genetic experiments on the delinquents of the world. Reno regretted ever getting involved with Shinra…he regretted it more than he cared to discuss.
He glanced sideways at Rude, unsure how to handle this. Not even a week ago he would have dished out all of the dirty secrets about Riku’s family, about Shinra, about everything. After Cloud, Aerith and Rude had read him the riot act, he was unsure of what to say.
Rude was the first to speak. “Why did you come HERE?” He asked bluntly.
Sora looked up and fixed them both with the hardest blue eyes Reno had ever seen…and he had been scowled at by the great Cloud Hikari. Cloud’s little brother put his best cold look to shame. “You know something.” Sora replied flatly. “Both Sephiroth and Riku looked TERRIFIED to go out, and now they’re not back. I need to know if they’re in danger.”
Damn straight they were in danger, Sephiroth especially. Reno partially blamed himself for Sephiroth’s condition today…he had deliberately stood in Cloud and Zack’s way when they had tried to investigate the SOLDIER program, had almost hurt Aerith when she had gotten involved and generally had made an ass of himself until it was too late for any of them to do anything. Reno hadn’t pulled the switch that had infected Sephiroth with the genetic material that screwed him up so badly, he had not been the one to whisper conditioning into his ear…but he had participated nonetheless. There were quite a few of Shinra’s failed experiments here in Radiant Garden…and Reno knew about them all.
“So what if they are.” Reno finally answered, his voice cold. “In case you missed the fact, Hikari, there are no trains out of here and Twilight Town is a good two hour drive in this weather. What you need to do is go to your room like a good little boy and wait.”
Sora’s chin lifted stubbornly. “I can’t do that.”
Reno swore under his breath. What WAS it about the Hikari boys that made them so damn stubborn? Sora really was like a mini-Cloud, stubborn, annoying and loud in righteous indignation. Rude gave Reno a warning look. “Sora…it IS Sora isn’t it?” Sora nodded and he sighed. “It isn’t that we don’t appreciate your concern, but I don’t understand why you came here and what you can do. Reno’s right…there aren’t many ways off of this campus when the trains are running.”
Sora’s eyes hardened. “I’m here because you two know something and I’d have better luck beating it out of you than beating it out of Cloud.”
Reno’s mouth dropped open. Sora was THREATENING them? This little KID looking so furious and frustrated was THREATENING them. Reno was pretty sure he could SIT on Sora and squash him like a bug. He couldn’t help it…he started laughing.
This, he realized, his body in agony as he found himself staring at the end of the Ultima Keyblade, had probably been a bad move. Mental note: Do not laugh at Sora Hikari when he is threatening your life. Laughter meant pain. “What IS it with you?” He demanded. Sora stared at him over the top of the keyblade, and Reno suddenly knew…Sora loved Riku. Sora didn’t have to say it aloud, it was clear by the expression on his face how he felt. Reno gulped and looked away.
Rude obviously either saw what Reno had, or just didn’t want to get hit by the Keyblade again, because his voice was calm. “We’re going to wait for sunrise.” Ignoring Sora’s whine of protest, he continued. “If they’re not back by then…we’ll figure something out.”
Sora stared at them for a long moment before nodding once.

Axel knew he was irritating Roxas. For the first time in his life, Axel didn’t CARE that he was irritating Roxas. He was consumed by worry for Riku. In the seven years that they had been friends, Axel had only seen Riku go home for Christmas once. He had come back so bruised that he had been forced to spend a week in the infirmary. Axel hadn’t forgotten it.
Axel had paced through the room until sunrise, unable to sleep, unable to sit still, too panicked to focus. What if Riku got hurt? What if his father finally snapped and tried to kill him? What if…Axel didn’t want to keep thinking about the ‘what ifs’ he would drive himself crazy. Growling, he stormed toward the door to Riku’s room…if the silver haired boy had returned and neither Riku nor Sora had bothered to notify him, he was going to kill them both. Bursting through the bathroom door, he stared around…there was no sign of Riku. This did not entirely surprise Axel, though it worried him. More surprising though slightly less alarming, there was also no sign of Sora.
Roxas poked his head over Axel’s shoulder. “Where’s Sora?”
Axel shook his head. “Dunno.” Unease prickled at his spine. “Probably with Cloud.”
Roxas paused, a puzzled expression crossing his face. “I don’t think so…but it wouldn’t hurt to check.”
Axel gave Roxas a hard look. “Why wouldn’t he be with Cloud? He was upset, you saw him…wouldn’t he go to Cloud?”
Roxas gave Axel a long look. “You don’t know my brother very well, do you?” He asked slowly. “He wouldn’t go to Cloud if he thought Cloud would try to stop him from helping Riku.” His brow furrowed. “I don’t think he’s in trouble…at least it doesn’t FEEL like he’s in trouble…but he’s emotional. He’s upset.”
Axel stared at Roxas. “How the hell…”
Roxas turned to look at Axel. “We’re different sides of the same coin.” He replied, almost gently. “You’re insane if you don’t think I know what he’s thinking and feeling most of the time.” He paused. “Damn…I’d like to avoid Cloud.”
Axel stared at Roxas for a long moment. Involve Cloud and upset the overprotective pain-in-the-ass or avoid it altogether? Cloud would insist on searching the grounds for both Sora and Riku. He would call Riku’s family. He would follow protocol by the book. Axel paused. “We don’t have to involve Cloud.”
Stepping back into his room, he grabbed his black Organization coat. “Get yours on…you’ll want it if we have to go outside.” Roxas’ eyes widened slightly as he realized what Axel had in mind, but a smile crossed his face and he obediently grabbed his coat out of the closet. “Let’s go rouse the others. You go get Marly, he’ll get the others up on his floor. I’ll grab Demyx, Zexion and Lexaeus, they’re on our floor…and I’ll get Larxene.” Roxas nodded and bolted out of the door.
Roxas and Sora had a psychic bond…that didn’t shock Axel much. They didn’t have to speak to communicate half of the time, they read each other’s mind when they fought, they had the same heart. Roxas was a little rougher, a little more sarcastic, a little harder…and Axel loved him dearly for it. Wordlessly, he stepped from the room and started toward the room Demyx and Zexion shared.
Banging hard on the door, he didn’t wait for a livid Zexion to answer, bursting through. “The Key of Destiny needs our help.” His words were code, an unspoken order for obedience, and he could see instant reaction from both the blond and his lover. Zexion nodded once, and Demyx’s mouth opened, but Axel didn’t wait for him to ask questions, already backing out into the hallway.
Buddy, a stocky blond threw open the door when he got to Lexaeus, looking annoyed. “What…”
“Lex!”
Lexaeus was still in bed, and he opened his eyes blearily. “Axel…” He muttered tiredly. “…you know I’m going to kick your ass for this. Do you have any clue what time it is?!”
“It’s 5:24 in the damn morning. Get your ass out of bed. The Key and The Flurry need you.”
Buddy gave him an odd look. “What are you talking about?”
Axel managed a wicked smile. “Christmas presents of course. How can you sleep through Christmas?”
Buddy rolled his eyes. “Easily. I’m goin’ back to bed.” Axel glanced at the tall teen and watched him pull a black piece of cloth out of the closet, not even bothering to change his clothing.
He waited for his friend to emerge, heading back toward his room. “Axel…what’s wrong?” Lexaeus asked, frowning at him.
Axel paused. “Sora’s gone missing.” He knew that Lexaeus at least had a relationship with both Sora and Roxas. He had known them as children, his brother was Roxas’ best friend outside of the Organization. He watched Lexaeus think it through for a moment before the boy with the light brown hair swore under his breath. Axel agreed wholeheartedly. “See if you can’t help Rox rouse the others. I’m going to send Larx a message and tell her to get her ass upstairs.”
“No need.” He blinked at his friend, and Lexaeus smiled wryly. “She’s with Lux. Last I heard they were playing cards all night. Some stupid Christmas bet involving mistletoe. Don’t ask anything more, I didn’t want to know.”
Good advice. Axel suppressed a shudder. It wasn’t that he didn’t adore Larxene…he did…it was more that she had a tendency to bite…and not in a good way. “Good. Let’s get moving.”
By the time they emerged on the balcony, an icy wind making the sunrise look cold and inhospitable, the others had gathered. Only Larxene and Luxord were fully dressed, both looking tired and cranky, both obviously having been up all night. Axel paused as he looked sideways at his boyfriend. Roxas looked very pale and very young, the hood pulled up over his head. “Sora’s gone missing.” He paused. “And I don’t think he’s still in the school.”
Vexen crossed his arms, not looking as if the icy air bothered him much. “What makes you think that? You know how your brother likes to eat.”
Roxas gave him a look that made the air feel warm. “He’s not here.” He looked around. “I can feel it. I’d know if he was here. He’s not. I don’t know WHERE he is but he’s upset and he’s scared.” He bit his lip lightly. “Riku didn’t come home last night.”
Puzzled looks crossed the group and Axel sighed as he filled in the blanks. “His father came to pick up Riku and Sephiroth two evenings ago. He was supposed to be home late last night…he’s not.”
Silence filled the group. Axel watched their faces. If it had been Cloud, he would have demanded to know if they had searched the grounds. He would have said that nobody wanted to go up to the school in the dark when it was snowy. Gagazet was dangerous at times in the ice. He would probably say that they were all blowing this out of proportion. Even Vexen, the coldest and least caring of them all didn’t speak. He had shared a room with Sephiroth for a brief period. “How would he get OFF of school grounds?” Larxene demanded. “It’s not like he could take the train. Damn thing’s not running. It’s stationed in Twilight Town until the students out on holiday come back.”
“Dunno.” Roxas replied flatly. “But if he’s worried about Riku he’s capable of doing stupid things.”
They exchanged glances. “First split up.” Xemnas said carefully. “Search the castle. Make sure he’s not here.” He looked at Roxas. “We need to be sure.” Roxas shrugged, his face impassive. “Larxene, search the girl’s dorm. Don’t alert ANYONE that he’s gone. Axel, take the boy’s. Lexaeus, look in the cafeteria and on the main floor. Xigbar, go down to the blitzball stadium and the courtyard. If you see Cloud running, avoid him. Luxord and Zexion, look in the areas upstairs. Marluxia and Demyx, look in the basement. Xaldin, look in the classrooms on the 2nd floor, I’ll take the classrooms on the 3rd. Saix, take the classrooms on the 4th. Vexen, search the lifts. Roxas, go through your brother’s room. Find out if he left anything to tell us where he went, who he went with and how he got out.” Roxas nodded once, and Axel had to smile…if there was one thing Xemnas was good at, it was organization. “Meet back here in 20 minutes.” He ordered.
They split up, Axel and Roxas walking in silence down toward the boy’s dorms. Rather than look around with the danger of running into the early risers Cloud or Leon, he followed Roxas into their room, crossing to Sora’s. Roxas gave him a cool look. “Aren’t you going to look around?”
Axel snorted. “Why bother?” He replied coolly. “We both know he’s not here. The only thing I’d do is piss off Cloud.” Roxas snorted and began to search through the stack of things on Sora’s desk. Christmas presents were everywhere, littered on every surface available. “What’s all this?” Axel asked, bemused. “Did he buy out the whole store?”
A pained smile crossed Roxas’ face. “He always does this. If he gives a gift to one member of the dueling team, he has to give one to all of the members. But if he gives one to Xaldin, who is sharing a room with Xemnas, who is on the dueling team, it means he has to give one to Xemnas because he’s sure that Xemnas isn’t going to get a gift unless he gives one.”
Axel blinked. “With that reasoning he’ll have to get something for everyone in this place.”
Roxas smiled slightly. “He did.” He replied dryly, rifling through some papers. They’re what he calls ‘spur of the moment’ gifts. Bath things for girls, food for guys, toys for the kids still left here. He has a whole stock of them because his conscience will get the better of him if he doesn’t.”
Axel stared around the room in utter shock. “He’s out of his mind.” He whispered, even though part of him was warmed at the idea. Of course Sora worried about whether a stranger had a gift or was remembered by their peers. He smiled inwardly…only Sora. Only Sora would care that much about people who didn’t even know his name.
If it had been anyone else, Axel would have either attributed it to them being a sanctimonious, self righteous jerk just trying to get attention or he would feel like an ass. With Sora though…he knew that the gesture was truly meant, and he knew that nobody had quite the same mindset that Sora did, so he didn’t feel like a jerk for not thinking of it (or not caring in his case) himself.
Roxas drew in a sharp breath. Axel glanced over, and his eyes widened. “What the…”
Roxas turned red. “It’s Sora’s diary.”
Axel wasn’t sure if he was relieved or if he was appalled that they were about to look through Sora’s DIARY. “He keeps a diary?”
Roxas was on his twin’s laptop, his fingers flying across the keys. “He keeps an online journal actually.” He paused. “There’s an entry in here from a few days ago…Shinra.” Axel froze. The blood in his body went icy and he looked sideways at Roxas. Roxas’ eyes flew across the screen, and Axel wanted to say something…but couldn’t. He closed his eye sand waited. “You knew?”
Axel released a long breath. “Yeah.”
Roxas sounded pissed. “You knew that my brother was nearly destroyed like Riku’s brother?”
That was news to Axel. His eyes flew open. “What?” Apparently Roxas believed the expression on his face, because he relaxed somewhat. “Read this.”
Axel hesitated, but obediently crossed the room and read the words on the screen. When he finished, he felt vaguely sick and vaguely pissed. “Reno.”
“Your brother.” Roxas shrugged. “What about him?”
Axel gave Roxas a dry look. “If Sora was upset about the possibility that something was happening to Sephiroth and Riku, who is the first person he’d go to that might actually give him information?”
Roxas looked like someone punched him. “Reno…”
“Reno.” Axel admitted. He looked back at the screen and paused. There was a lot about his own brother that, like Roxas, he didn’t know.
Roxas followed him down the hallway, breaking into a run as they neared the corner and turned. He pounded on his brother’s door. No answer. Glancing sharply around, he pounded on the door beside his brother’s room. Looking tired and pissed, Tidus opened the door. “Axel? What the hell…”
Axel pushed his way through. “Sorry. Need to talk to my brother and he’s not answering.” He ignored Wakka’s concerned call and bolted through the bathroom, entering his brother’s room. He was not surprised in the least to find it was empty.
Roxas swore, running his hands through his hair. “Damn it, Sora…”
Axel’s thoughts exactly. “We need to tell the others.”
Roxas followed him out. “But what are going to do?”
Axel didn’t even break stride. “We’re going to get my brother, your brother and my best friend back.”
“How?” Roxas followed him back up to the meeting point, and they emerged together. Five minutes later found the rest of their group, none of whom had found Sora.
“Sora’s gone to Twilight Town. He’s with Reno and Rude.” Axel filled in sharply. “My guess is that they’ve talked someone into helping them.”
“Yuffie.” Larxene replied calmly. “Yuffie. She’s gone too.”
Yuffie. That didn’t surprise Axel much. Yuffie the damned ninja troublemaker.
“How are we going to follow them?!” Roxas demanded.
A wicked grin crossed Marluxia’s face. “We’re going to steal Cid’s car of course.”
