"Just as soon as Sora gets back." ***** "So," Sephiroth had finally sheathed his sword and was staring over in the direction of Maleficent's castle, "Riku is my Nobody, but he has somehow claimed a portion of my discarded heart. Is that right?" Sora nodded. "And that's why you want to know if I was able to love people when I was a child." "What makes you think I'm not capable of it now?" Sephiroth asked. "Just because I was mad for a while doesn't mean I'm beyond redemption." "Hey, you attacked us during our last adventure!" Sora pointed out. "Well, you hardly expect me to just hand over a Class-S weapon as if it were a mere stick." Sora shrugged and started to walk away. "One more thing," he asked, once he was sure he was out of the sword's range, "what the hell are you staring at the castle so placidly for? Sephiroth stepped closer and drew Masamune, laying the blade upon Sora's shoulder. "I can move, too." he pointed out. "As for your question, I was not looking placidly at anything. I was merely looking at it." "Whatever you say," Sora grinned as he returned to Merlin's house to "Something weird is going on. Sephiroth's all moon-eyed. And I'm not talking about the usual glow his eyes have. It's something else." "Maybe he's in love?" Aerith suggested. "Sephiroth," Cloud shook his head, "not a chance. He's not the type." "I think Aerith is right," Sora decided. "I think Sephiroth's in love with Maleficent." "The hell he is." Cloud stormed out of the room. Sora started to follow, but Aerith stopped him. "He needs to sort out his feelings by himself." "Hi, everyone!" King Mickey greeted as he walked in. "Any luck?" "Hyuck! Yeah," Goofy told them, "Tron says he might know where Riku is." "Let's go see him, then," Sora suggested. ***** "Sora thinks you might be in love," Cloud told Sephiroth. "Are you?" Sephiroth nodded. "He's very observant, isn't he?" Cloud felt his heart skip a beat. He took a tentative step forward. "Not with you," Sephiroth warned. "So it is Maleficent, then." It wasn't a question. Sephiroth turned. "Did Sora tell you that?" Cloud nodded. "Hmph. He's even smarter than I originally believed." Sephiroth returned his attention to Maleficent's castle. "Riku's a lucky young man."
