Evolving Feelings - Discovery II
Epilogue
A couple of months later...
It was an early Sunday morning, and Yugo woke up first – a rare occurrence any day of the week. He looked around and his eyes stopped at Kenji, who was still sleeping. The youngster had his back exposed, and Yugo couldn't help but appreciate the fine, well-defined musculature of his lover, his dark disheveled hair and peaceful sleeping face. Gods! He is handsome, Yugo thought. Kenji was a piece of art in many ways, and Yugo could now admire him without experiencing the feelings of strangeness or guilt he had at the beginning. Last night, they made passionate love, and Yugo had thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it, especially now that Kenji could finally take him. Recalling the experience brought a dreamy smile to his face.
A part of him still wanted to think of Kenji as a young brother, but Yugo knew they had become more than that. The man still wasn't sure about his own feelings, but he was comfortable with their current arrangement, whatever it was. Other than sex and kisses, little had changed in their lifestyle, yet they now shared a level of emotional closeness which they hadn't before. Was it love? Yugo couldn't tell – it was very different from all of the times he had been in love. This now was a calm, relaxed feeling, as opposed to youthful intensity and ardent desire. No use overthinking it – Yugo would just follow the river and see where it led him.
Unaware that Kenji was already awake, Yugo planted a kiss on his forehead and got out of the bed. That day, Yugo decided he would be the one making breakfast.
