Faith
(Riku’s POV)
I feel Sora fading away, as if he’s slowly dying.
“SORA!” I scream, racing to his still body. I put my ear over his heart, to make sure it’s still beating. To my surprise, it is. How can that be if I can barely feel him in my own heart? I slowly stand up next to Sora; wondering what’s going on in his head. I just can’t understand why this was happening to him; he doesn’t deserve any of this. I lower my head to look at the ground. Maybe nobody is allowed to be happy; especially the ones who do good for others.
“Riku...are you ok?” Donald whispers to me. Without looking up, I slam my fist into the nearest wall; making a shattered indent. Donald hesitates, but eventually puts a hand on my back.
“Please Riku...don’t be angry.” My face turns towards him. Did he actually say what I think he said or am I only longing to hear Sora say the exact same words. I finally smile at Donald, trying to push the anger out of my system.
“Thanks Donald, I really needed to hear that.” He gives me a puzzled look, but just shrugs it off. I look over at Goofy and he smiles at me too. I then look over at Shiranai, but realize that her back is towards me; holding herself, trying to stop from shaking. I walk over to the little girl.
“Shiranai, what’s wrong?” She looks up at me and for the first time I see her display a raw emotion, fear.
“I need to go to Sora.” Shiranai says in a shaky voice. I back away from her, not knowing what to make of the situation. She walks to Sora; shaking more with each step. Finally reaching him, she tries to put her hands next to his head, like I had done to enter his dreams. Yet her hands are shaking way too much. I go over and steady her hands, hoping my strength would rub off on her. Shiranai looks up at me, forcing a smile.
“I hope you can forgive me for what I’m about to do.” She states, confusion racking my brain.

(Shiranai’s POV)
I enter the keyblade master’s dream, fear overtaking every cell in my body. I thought for sure that he was the true keyblade wielder, but I have been wrong before. I’m going to have to take away the keyblade and all memories of him ever using it. I see him standing over the body that was once Ichiro. Blood is everywhere, making my stomach turn. I start to walk towards Sora, trying to figure out what to say. I haven’t taken any than more ten steps and I’m frozen with a stop spell. By that time I realize it happened, I find myself in trouble. I have the keyblade at my neck and Sora holding my hands behind my back with his free hand.
“Have you come here to make me suffer or are you here for clean up?” As he says this, he points over to Ichiro. I feel all courage exit my body, knowing that Sora can do the very same thing to me.
“Please Sora, listen to me.” I barely get the words out before he puts the keyblade closer to my throat.
“Give me a good reason not to kill you; I’m not exactly in the best of moods.” I can hear no emotion in his voice and that fact scares me more than having my life hang by a thread.
“None of this is real. You never went to an insane asylum. You never killed Kairi. You never let Riku di.....” I feel anger permeating off of his body. My words have made him go deeper into insanity, I have no hope of surviving. Sora throws me to the ground, my arms breaking my fall. My powers don’t work in the dreams of others.
“I’m tired of all the lies, of all the people trying to mess with my mind.” He points the keyblade at me and I feel my whole body tremble in fear. I have unleashed a murder onto the world. What happened to the innocent boy that wanted nothing more than to save his friends? Maybe that is the ultimate end to all keyblade wielders; to go insane. I can’t just sit here and die like a coward. I have to take responsibility for what I have created; so I stand up and ready myself for his attack. Sora raises his keyblade, getting into a striking stance. Suddenly I see a brilliant light behind him, not knowing if it was my savior or my executioner. Then to my surprise, a figure steps out of the light; Sora being oblivious to the whole ordeal. The figure then walks toward Sora and hugs him around his middle. Sora drops his keyblade and looks up in utter shock and horror.
“Riku...” He whispers, I could barely hear it.

(Riku’s POV)
“Please Sora...stop this. I’m sorry I couldn’t stop Ichiro. I just want to be with you: I never wanted you to kill someone for the sake of my honor.” I say, hoping to get through to him this time. I can feel every muscle in his body relax, but suddenly he tenses again. His shoulders droop and his hands clench into fists.
“But I watched you die in my arms.” I can tell that tears are in his eyes. I turn him around and look him in the face. His eyes are to the ground; trying so hard to hide his tears. Cupping his face with my hands, I wipe away his tears. I just smile at him, finally knowing that everything was going to be ok.
“Like she said, this is all a dream; produced by Ichiro. Shiranai and I entered your dream to help you out. I will never leave you, remember that.” I then kiss him; breathing in every bit of him. Slowly he puts his arms around me and leans in. I have waited for this moment for so long. He pulls away and looks at me serenely. He takes my hands into his.
“Can I wake up now?” He asks, a smile forming on his lips. I laugh to myself, knowing that the real Sora is coming back.
“Yes Sora, you can wake up now.”
Riku to the rescue!! You all thought I was going to kill Shiranai didn't you! I told you I don't like killing characters!!
