Post Script: DOATEC
The heavy blast door lumbered open, steam hissing as the hydraulics protested. Through the cloud of vapor the outline of a man hobbled in, a cane supporting his right side as he tried in vain to hide his limp. The coolly lit room was filled with mind boggling array of computer consoles, each flashing reports. A small man wearing wide rimmed glasses and a white lab coat turned from his station to great the shambling man entering through the blast door.
“Mr. Donovan.” The bespectacled man bowed in greeting.
“Doctor Itagaki.” Victor Donovan’s voice was gruff and a bit strained. “What progress can you report?”
“Ah…yes, well…” Dr. Itagaki adjusted his collar nervously. “Unit Beta-117 will be ready for testing any moment now.” He gestured toward a large set of thick Plexiglas viewing windows across the lab. “Shall we?”
Victor Donovan turned and with a grimace began the slow and arduous walk. Dr. Itagaki cleared his throat, coming up beside him.
“Sir, may I be of assistance--”
“I’m fine.” Donovan snapped at him. “But I will be even better when the ninja bastard that did this to me is dead.” A malicious grin spread across Donovan’s haggard face. “And what better weapon to accomplish this with than Beta-117?”
“Yes, Mr. Donovan, sir.” Itagaki nodded jerkily as they reached the viewing windows, gazing down at the large testing area below. The room was several hundred square meters in size with walls of reinforced steel at least six inches thick. An artillery shell could go off in there and they would hardly feel a tremor.
“Alpha-152… did it gather a sufficient sample?” Donovan asked.
“Yes, sir. Beta-117 will be a perfect recreation of the subject.” Itagaki tried not to let his voice crack.
“Then I believe it is time to see what our two most lethal weapons are capable of.” Donovan nodded confidently. “Bring in the test subjects.”
Itagaki typed a command into his PDA and within moments a large door below them opened, and several of DOATEC’s most elite mercenaries burst into the room, electrified riot clubs sparking in their brutal hands.
“Now the clones.” Donovan’s teeth glinted as his smile spread.
Two pods dropped from the ceiling, landing about a dozen meters apart. With a hiss of coolant and exploding safety bolts, they opened. For a moment there was nothing but silence, and then the shimmering glow of Alpha-152 stepped calmly out of her pod. There was a blur of movement, and the mercenaries were suddenly splattered across the far wall.
“I suppose we will need more test subjects.” Donovan nearly giggled.
“Alpha-152,” Dr. Itagaki spoke into his microphone. “Return to your pod.”
Alpha-152 turned and bowed obediently. As she made her way back, the second pod shifted as another ethereal being stepped out. The radiant body was tall with large, broad shoulders, and undeniably masculine. Alpha-152 stopped dead in her tracks and starred at the newcomer.
“They have never met before?” Donovan inquired.
“No, sir, this was to be their first introduction and combat simulation.” Itagaki spoke into his microphone again. “Alpha-152, Beta-117, return to your pods.”
But Alpha-152 made no move toward her pod. The two clones just stood, staring at each other.
“Alpha-152! Beta-117! You will return to your pods. Now!” Dr. Itagaki had a sinking feeling in his stomach. The clones continued to stand still, seemingly oblivious to his order.
“What’s wrong with them?” Donovan asked, almost to himself.
Then, in the blink of an eye the two clones rushed toward each other. They clashed in a flash of brilliant light, temporarily blinding Dr. Itagaki and Victor Donovan behind their protective viewing panes. As his eyes adjusted, Donovan’s face contorted in equal parts horror and rage as he looked down into the room below.
Beta-117 and Alpha-152 rolled across the floor, their pulsating bodies entwined. Beta’s hips thrust between Alpha’s glowing legs with superhuman voracity. Their incorporeal lips pressed together in what Donovan could only describe as… passion.
“No! No, make them stop!” Donovan growled indignantly.
“Alpha-152! Beta-117! Cease this…uh….copulation at once!” Itagaki’s voice squeaked.
The clones rolled, bringing Alpha up on top. The female apparition cast herself down onto Beta’s shimmering energy rod. Beta’s hands reached up and he clasped Alpha’s large bosom in a shower of sparking energy.
“Isn’t there something you can do?” Donovan barked at poor Dr. Itagaki.
Before the shaking scientist could answer, the two clones vanished together and the next moment they were two meters behind them inside the control room. Donovan cried out in terror, losing his balance and falling onto his rear.
Beta pushed Alpha’s back up against a computer console, thrusting ever faster between her legs. The console sparked in a power overload, searing circuits and melting relays. The clones disappeared again, only to flash into existence onto of a row of servers, Beta now hammering into Alpha’s iridescent body from behind. The servers caught fire, triggering the sprinkler system.
Water poured down into the room. As the first droplets hit the clones, their bodies flashed as their unfathomable power coursed up into the ceiling and into the circuitry of the entire complex.
As Donovan heard the distant explosions of ruined power generators and the sizzling of thousands of fried hard drives full of priceless data, he knew he was finished. For the second time, the ninjas had destroyed his dreams of grandeur, even if they were just facsimiles.
He stared at the two clones as their artificial faces glowed in a very real climax of pleasure. A blast of unbearable heat erupted from their bodies, rushing toward Victor Donovan. Before the searing heat of his creations’ orgasm consumed him, Donovan sneered, trying to ignore the ignoble whimpering of Dr. Itagaki.
“Damn ninjas.”
Then nothing.

Writer Commentary
Oh yes, the Epilogue. This was inspired by Scalon’s review. It’s amazing how many ideas you can get from your readers. Thanks again, you people are awesome! But down to the business at hand.
This follows a fairly clichéd setup of the evil mastermind inspecting his vile creations and intimidating the hapless mad scientist whom he employs. Donovan’s injuries are inferred from Ryu’s ending in DOA4, which I STILL have not played. Curses.
The astute reader will of course note that the good doctor’s namesake might have something to do with videogames, and a couple little series called Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden. I bet those games could inspire some awesome fan fiction.
The core theme of this little chapter is the enduring power of love, though I suppose lust is a better description for the feelings between Alpha-152 and Beta-117. They might be vile energy clones, but they still have the connection of their “parents.” The idea that Donovan is possibly done in by the power of his creations’ orgasm is both poignant and just a little bit hilarious.
