Chapter 11 - Naked  in the Arena

Aloy was trapped in a cage, with her weapons and her focus taken from her but lying close by. The cage was in the middle of a great arena with a roaring crowd surrounding it. They were used to this spectacle. With a female prisoner, Helis would ritually rape her and then unleash corrupted machines to kill her. But at least she had not been forced into cermonial robes. If she died, Aloy thought, it would be in an honorable state of nudity.

The crowd cheered as Helis entered the Arena and opened the cage. Aloy struggled against his grip but, as at the Proving, his brute strength was too much. He slammed her onto her back and said the same thing as when he had tried to violate her before: "Turn your pussy towards the sun, girl!"

He suddenly gritted his teeth. A cold metallic voice was coming from the focus in his ear. Aloy could just hear Hades saying "You waste time. Terminate the entity!"

"Don't worry, Master" leered Helis. "This process will kill her." He pushed aside his robe and took hold of his erection to aim it.

Hades was an Artificial Intelligence, not a human, and it misunderstood. If penetration of the female with a cylinder was fatal, it calculated, a corrupter could do it faster. There were two of these machines waiting in the arena. Their purpose was to insert a probe into other machines and take control of them. One of them now advanced rapidly towards Helis and Aloy.

"STAND ASIDE!" commanded Hades, and the loud voice in his ear made Helis wince. Aloy used the distraction to seize her chance. Summoning all her strength, she threw him aside. But now the corrupter was heading towards her splayed legs and bare vulva at high speed. Its probe, three inches in diameter, pointed towards her.

Having been thwarted at the Proving, Helis was determined to rape Aloy now, whatever Hades wanted. He threw aside his robe and leapt onto her naked. Again he took hold of his cock, pointing it at Aloy's enticing 'target'. But the momentum of the corrupter allowed no time for Hades to change its orders.

It rammed its probe into the orifice in front of it. That orifice happened to belong to Helis. He screamed with the penetration and again, over and over, as electric sparks spread from his ass to the rest of his body. When he died, his body limp and smoking, Aloy pushed him off and ran the few steps to recover her gear.

A high priest unleashed the other machines that were there to kill her for the crowd's entertainment. But the doors of the arena were smashed down, and Sylens charged in on an overridden machine-beast. Behind him was a troop of Carja warriors.

Sylens reached out his arm to Aloy. She expected him to help her mount astride the steed behind him, but Sylens had decided there was no time. He slung her face-down over the mechanical beast's back. "Hey!" she protested as it carried them out of the arena, her bare butt the uppermost part of her. Sylens gave it a slap. "Shut up and be grateful" he shouted as the Carja covered their escape.

Aloy was ready to punch him when they outdistanced any pursuit and came to a stop, but she had to admit he had risked himself in person this time instead of just appearing through her focus as a hologram. "How did you get the soldiers?" she asked.

"I just had to tell King Avad you were in trouble. I knew he'd be... concerned about you."

Aloy's eyes widened. "Were you spying on us when we were alone together?" she demanded. Having no taboos concerning nudity or sexuality, she was slightly irritated but no more.

"It was very entertaining" said Sylens. "It was like a form of amusement they had in the Machine Age, called 'pomography' or something like that. Anyway, we must deal with Hades once and for all."

Sylens explained how Hades had been a sub-function of Gaia, intended as a reset switch. If the new ecology being grown was no good, Hades would destroy it all so Gaia could start again. But Gaia had ceased functioning and Hades had made a decision that the current tribal, non-industrial society was not good enough. It was plotting to revive all the original Faro robots that had wiped out the original biosphere.

"If there's a way to stop it, I'm most likely to find it at Mother's Heart back home. With an image of Elisabet Sobeck's shlugti I can get in there now." Sylens wouldn't go with her, so the naked redhead summoned a steed of her own and set out on the long ride home.
