Chapter 11
Hey there again! I updated quick eh? Here’s the next chapter!

‘Ow! Goddamn my head hurts like hell!’ Alex reached up with both hands gently touching her throbbing head. ‘What the hell happened last night..?’ Alex winced trying to move her legs only to find them sore and almost as painful as her headache. ‘I remember I went down to the bar and had a drinking contest with Kane then…’
Something warm moved beneath her pulling the last of the fuzzy memory from its almost forgotten vault. ‘Then I slept with Kane…….THEN I WHAT?!’ Alex shot up quickly only to groan and fall back down onto of the warm solid shape beneath her.
“Alex..? Are you ok?” The thing shifted again until her eyes had met with a pair of silver glowing ones flashing with concern.
‘Kane? Did we really?”
Kane smiled shyly and nodded causing a few dark blue strands of hair to fall in front of his face. He was in a silent panic hoping to god she wouldn’t freak out and hate him.
“I’m sorry I..” Kane started to apologize feeling an over whelming amount of guilt knowing he had taken advantage of her but stopped when she placed her lips to his forehead.
“Its alright I wanted it.” She then pulled up and off of him and padded her way to the bathroom groaning with soreness.
Kane lay on the bed stunned with what she had just said ‘I wanted it.’
“Oh thank Elune!” He sighed out in relief he had been so sure that she would be angry with him…so completely sure. ‘So then why did I give in.. If I had thought she would give me hell?’
“OW!! OW IT’S HOT!!!! HOT!!!!”
Kane chuckled as he heard his lover shout from the small bathroom, she had obviously filled the bathtub with boiling water thinking the hotter the better for her aching muscles, only to get more then she bargained for.
‘Because I would with stand all of hell to just be able to hold her hand…’
After pushing himself to his feet and stretching he glanced out the window to notice that it was late morning. ‘How the hell are we going to explain this to others..?’ He sighed mournfully before his smirk was back in place when he heard Alex in the bathroom splashing around a bit and humming. ‘I think I’ll join her before I set out in no mans land.’ With that he walked over to the bathroom and pounced on his unsuspecting prey.

Alex and Kane made their way down to the bar hand in hand to find a very surprising sight indeed. Ciera was at the bar head down miserable as Rolic poked fun at her current status, apparently she and Kane weren’t the only ones who had drunk a bit last night.
“Yo look like a princess!” Rolic eyes danced with pure pleasure loving the ever so sweet revenge he was getting for when she had put him through hell on the hunting trips.
“Oh blow it out you’re a-“Ciera stopped however catching sight of the ‘happy couple.’ “Ok what the hell happened to you two last night?” She eyed them with a suspicious glare knowing very well what they had done but she wanted to be certain with her assumptions.
“None of your business.” Kane replied huffily. Alex giggled as she sat down next to Ciera who was now past disgruntle.
“If you forced her into anything I’m going to kick your ass so hard you’ll wish-“
“He didn’t do anything I didn’t allow him to do.” Alex cut off her over protective friend before she could tackle Kane and cause a ruckus.
Ciera looked taken aback before she looked into her friends eyes to make sure she was telling the truth and was reasserted.
“I still don’t like… it if he hurts you..”
“I would never!” Kane growled plopping down next to Alex fixating Ciera with an angry stare triumphant when she finally looked away defeated.
“Elune help us all.” She said sarcastically before taking a deep drink of the black coffee she had been previously sipping.
Alex breathed a sigh of relief happy Ciera had left it at that and not taken it too far as she often did due to her impulsive nature.
“I loath day light.”
The four odd grouped companions looked up toward the familiar gruff female voice finding Syrean sauntering down the stairs fixating them with a tired look, yawning then plopping down on the other side of Ciera.
“Well this works out great now I can talk to you all about our bounty!” Ciera smiled happy at the random event of them all arriving at the same time and place instead of having to scrounge around to find them and tell them separately.
“As you know we are going after a big kitty very soon so I think its time to brief you all on what exactly this ‘kitty’ is.” Ciera reached into her one of her armor’s pockets to unravel a rather large poster to the other’s view, the same one Alex had shown Kane the night before.
“As you can see our target is going to put up quite a fight so I’m going to need everyone completely suited up and ready to leave come day after tomorrow. Kane and Alex I want you to take Rolic and Syrean into town to get fitted for appropriate armor. I’ll get the weaponry.” Ciera smiled as they all nodded in consent.
“But Ciera what about the money?” Alex asked baffled on to how the hell they could afford armor that could deflect a freakin tiger?!
“Remember Kane’s date with the murlocks?” Ciera said with an amused smirk earning confused looks from Rolic and Syrean but knowing that the conversation wasn’t directed toward them she ignored it and continued. “We have plenty of money Alex don’t worry.” With that she tossed the redhead a large pouch stuffed with gold pieces.
“I thought you said it was a small job!” Kane exclaimed as he caught site of the money.
“It was compared to the reward of this next job.” With that she winked and pushed out of her stool leaving her payment for her drink on the bar table before walking out to complete her days duties of buying weaponry for the five of them leaving the rest to get they’re armor.
Alex looked over at Kane and shrugged. “Shall we?”
“Why of coarse my lady!” Kane took her arm and lead her out of the bar leaving the two confused former Horde soldiers to stumble after wondering just what the hell just happened.
