Chapter 10

Disclaimer: Kingdom Hearts is in no way mine. I don’t own the universe, the characters or the storyline. This story is written for entertainment purposes only (and to appease my muse who has taken the evil form of my demanding best friends) and I am making no money in the writing.

Author’s Note: This is dedicated to Hex, who sees the same things I do when I play the game and always wants a story to keep her entertained, Regi who supports me in everything I do, and Hood, who is my inspiration since I like seeing him turn red.

Roxas yelped as the door to his bedroom flew open, and he raised his hand, calling in the Keyblade. He was going to brain Axel if he lit the damn door on fire again. To his surprise he found himself threatening Marluxia and Larxene, both grinning at him. “What the…”

“Get moving, Roxie.” Larxene sang happily. “The game will be starting soon, we’re running late.”
Roxas sighed and banished his blade. “Running late for what?”

Marluxia threw a black shirt at him, and Roxas obediently slipped the hoodie over his head. “Get MOVING, Hikari!”
Roxas rolled his eyes. “When you stop being a dramatic ass, let me know.” Pulling the shirt down over his chest, he allowed Marluxia to propel him out the door, then down the hallway. “What game?”

“Blitzball.” Larxene said with a grin. “It’s the first blitzball game of the year. We’re playing the school from Luca.”

“So?” Roxas had to run to keep up with them as they boarded a lift and shot down toward the ground floor.

“So we always get our butts kicked.” Larxene explained. “And Axel had an idea…for a little…distraction if you will. Something to give our boys an edge.”

Roxas frowned. “Larxene, it’s blitzball. If you distract one team, you distract them both.”

Larxene and Marluxia exchanged a look. They grinned. “Just come on.” Marluxia urged, pulling Roxas down into the main entryway. He sighed in annoyance. “Where the hell is Axel?”

“Right here.” Axel burst in from a dark corridor to the side, a bag over his shoulder. He was slightly out of breath, his eyes sparkling like emeralds. “Had a few things to handle.” He grinned at Roxas. “Roxie!” He cried delightedly.

Roxas hated to admit it to himself and he would have rather died than admit it to anyone else…but his heart skipped a beat as he saw the obvious happiness in Axel’s face at the sight of…him. Somewhere the dark side of his heart whispered, “He never looks that happy to see Sora…”

Good god. Roxas shook his head to clear such idiot thoughts. All right, so he was slightly attracted to his roommate…attracted enough to know what it was Sora saw in him anyway. Axel was overbearing and a pain in the ass, but it was still easy to see how comfortable it would be to rest in those long arms and on that broad chest. His eyes sparkled invitingly with barely contained excitement, his hair crackled and made you want to plunge your hands into it just to see if it burned. He sighed softly. He deserved to be shot for this…here he was ogling his brother’s boyfriend. His life was SO screwed up.

“Where’s Dem and Zexion?” Larxene demanded. “If they’re late again, we’re not going to have TIME for this!”

A look that was all too familiar to Roxas crossed Axel’s face, and he could tell by the glance Larxene and Marluxia exchanged that they recognized it too. They grinned. Axel smirked in reply. “Zexy and Dem are all tied up at the moment.” He replied peaceably. “They send their regards.”

“I’ll just bet.” Larxene muttered. “Fine, then we’ll do it with just the four of us. Let’s freaking GO already!”

“Larx, I have to ask…” Axel threw his arm around her shoulders casually as he led them toward the stadium. “Are you this enthusiastic about EVERYTHING you do?”

Larxene threw him a wicked smile, and to Roxas’ surprise, she didn’t try to kill him. “You’ll have to ask Yuffie.”

Roxas’ mouth dropped open. “You’re dating Yuffie?”

Marluxia laughed as Axel grinned and Larxene winked at him. “I wouldn’t say they were DATING, Rox.” Axel explained, eyes sparkling. “Didn’t Yuffie spend nearly three days tied to your bed last year?”

Larxene’s grin turned wolfish. “Axel, I didn’t give you the dirty details back then and I’m not going to tell you now…suffice to say it was a really REALLY good weekend.” She was almost purring with satisfaction.

Roxas blinked at his companions, suddenly realizing that he knew very little about them. “I didn’t know you…you know…” He awkwardly ran a hand through his hair.

Larxene blinked. “I don’t.” She said, surprised. “Not entirely anyway.” She grinned. “My tastes tend to differ, Roxas. I search for a special kind of person…”

“Who doesn’t mind the sight of Larx in black leather holding a whip.” Marluxia finished off, grinning as she swiped at him. “You’ll find that a lot of us are open minded here, Roxas. It’s hard to get intimate when you’re a het couple, but it’s easy enough to find some action with the same sex.”

Roxas shook his head. “You have no problem coming into the boy’s dorms.” He accused, frowning at Larxene.
She laughed. “Rox, I avoid Leon like the plague, and Marluxia’s the RA on the floor below yours. It’s easy to sneak around.”

“Here.” Axel stopped beside the pillar holding the giant water-filled dome. He shoved a packet of what appeared to be explosives into Roxas’ hands, the detonator wicks all tied together. Roxas yelped and Axel rolled his eyes. “They’re just a few firecrackers. They’ll make a pretty pattern in the sky. Hold it steady.” Axel knelt in the sand and reached up to Marluxia. “Did you finish the detonator?”

“Here.” Marluxia passed him a metal contraption. “I finished it last night around Xig’s snoring. I swear it’s getting worse every day.”

Axel snickered. “Luckily Roxie doesn’t snore.” He pulled a length of duct tape out of the bag and taped the detonator to the firecracker bomb.

Larxene passed him a lever. “It should spring the moment you press the button. Give it about five seconds before you press the detonator button, or you’ll set them off on the ground and probably light the entire building on fire.”

Axel’s face took on a dreamy quality and he looked reflexively back at the castle. “No, Ax.” Roxas snapped. “You can’t light it on fire.”

Axel grinned at him, and to his surprise, Roxas smiled back. It was hard to be angry with Axel when they were just hanging out together like this. It was easy to forget that Axel was dating Sora, easy to forget that Roxas wasn’t speaking to him.

“Let’s go watch the game.” Axel murmured. “Xemnas promised he’d save us seats.” He led them toward the stairs to the dome.

Roxas shook his head. “So THIS is the point of the Organization?”

The others laughed. “Yes and no.” Larxene conceded. “We keep the school a more entertaining place.”

“And entertain ourselves in the process.” Marluxia agreed.

Axel smiled slightly. “It’s just for laughs. We all have our talents and its fun to use them. Nobody ever gets hurt, usually we amuse people and we’ve never gotten caught yet. It’s a kick. In this case we’re going to keep the Luca team from scoring. When it looks like they’re close, we’ll set the fireworks off.”

Roxas shook his head and followed them into the dome. “What really happened to Demyx and Zexion?” He demanded.

His redheaded companion smirked. “They’re keeping each other entertained I’m sure. C’mon, Rox. Let’s finish the game. Sora’s waiting for us.”

Sora. Roxas felt his mood crash at the thought of his brother. Sora. Roxas didn’t want to think about Sora…and he sure as hell didn’t want to see Sora waving them over, a hot dog in one hand, his eyes bright with excitement. He sat beside Riku, and Axel made a beeline for the group. Roxas glanced at Marluxia and Larxene as they walked farther up the dome toward Xemnas.

His friends were together, his brother with them. Technically that was where Roxas belonged…he was comfortable there…except….that it wasn’t so comfortable with Axel hanging all over Sora and Sora letting him. He glanced around in vain for Cloud but didn’t see his brother anywhere.

“ROXAS!” Startled, he looked up to see Xemnas waving at him. “I saved you a seat! Get up here!”

Roxas grinned in reply and obediently ran up the stairs, flinging himself into a seat next to Marluxia. He could even pretend that he had never seen the look of disappointment on Axel’s face.

The game was exciting. Roxas had heard rumors about the team (basically that they sucked save for the captain) but apparently the rumors had been wrong. Sora’s friend Tidus was amazing as he shot through the water like a torpedo, his movements lightning fast, graceful. Wakka’s performance was as electrifying, and it spurred the rest of the team. Roxas cheered as they scored a goal and watched Tidus and Wakka exchange a high five.

Luca’s ball. The guy holding it shot across the stadium and was challenged by Tidus, but slipped past him and headed for the goal. He prepared a shot, the clock counting down the seconds. If they made it, the game would tie and they would go into sudden death overtime. “Now, Axel!” Larxene hissed under her breath. Roxas waited with barely contained excitement, adrenaline pumping through his system.

The stadium exploded, the support beam they had placed the fireworks beneath shooting flames. Screams echoed across the stadium as it tilted dangerously, water sloshing out. Through sudden panic, Roxas could see Tidus swimming toward one of the Luca team members, pulling him to safety just as the glass cracked.

The stadium erupted in chaos. Roxas was shoved violently out of the way as people ran for the exits, flames leaping higher. He whirled onto the others. “What the hell did you do?!” He demanded angrily.

Larxene’s eyes were wide and she looked stricken. “Fireworks, Rox! They were just fireworks!”

Roxas got out of the way as people swarmed toward them. “Those were NOT fireworks!” He snarled in reply. Flames shot up the stadium at an alarming rate.

“You think?!” Marluxia shoved him. “Get moving, blondie! We have to get out of here!”

“ROXAS!” Roxas whirled to see Sora waving furiously at him, his face ashen. Beside him, Axel was staring at the flames as if hypnotized, his eyes wide but his gaze calm.

“Axel.” Roxas snarled. “This had to be Axel.” He was going to kill his roommate for this.

“ROXAS!” Roxas vaulted over a row of seats, landing on the stairs and let the crowd sweep him down to Sora.

Roxas stared at his brother. “Sora, we’ve got to get out of here.”

Sora nodded. “The dome’s going to tip!” He motioned up. “Tidus and Wakka are still in there!”

It was like watching a fishbowl on a stand slowly circle as it debated over which way to tip, the water sloshing inside. “AEROGA!” Sora yelled, the keyblade appearing in his hand as air shot out of it and toward the creaking dome, steadying it, cushioning it.

“SORA!” Riku threw himself at Sora, and someone barreled into Roxas as the support beam on fire creaked and began to fall.

“BLIZZAGA!” Somewhere in the back of his mind he heard Riku’s voice combine with Sora’s and something icy filled the air.

“Roxas!” He heard someone breathe into his ear, a voice filled with urgency. The arms around him yanked him toward the exits, and dimly through the roaring in his ears, Roxas could see Riku forcing Sora out as well.
The evening was cool as they burst out into the night. Roxas whirled to look at the dome, but the arms holding him forced him to keep moving. “We’ve got to get away from the dome!”

Somewhere in the back of his mind, the voice clicked and Roxas skidded to a halt, spinning. “Seifer!”

Seifer stared down at him with concerned blue eyes that turned harder even as Roxas watched. “Shut up, Roxas.”

Roxas’ head was spinning. “What the hell are you doing?!”

Seifer glared at him. “I WAS saving your life!”

Roxas blinked. “Why?” He asked, genuinely perplexed.

Seifer glared down at him. “I don’t freaking know!” He snarled in reply. “I didn’t exactly have this in mind when I woke up this morning, Rox. I never intended…”

Roxas frowned at him. “Don’t try that with me. Cloud saw you watching us just a few weeks ago.”

Seifer’s face flushed, but to Roxas’ surprise, it wasn’t temper making him turn red. “I WAS watching.” He admitted.

Roxas turned as he heard someone scream, but the dome was still in place. He shuddered. He was going to KILL Axel! “I can’t stay. I have to go…”

“Roxas!” Seifer’s hands found his shoulders. “Can you listen to me for half a damn second?”

Roxas froze and he stared up into the eyes of his first love. Seifer growled. “Screw it.” Leaning in, he kissed Roxas harshly. “Go. Just get out of here.”

His head spun. His body was on fire, but another scream caught his attention, and wheeling he ran. He didn’t have the time or patience to think about this now…but his fingers found his lips just the same as he ran.

Zexion swore until he could practically feel his tongue burning from the words. He was going to MURDER Axel when he got out of this. A sharp gasp brought him out of his fantasies of making the idiot redhead spit up bone shards, and he glanced sideways at his companion, only to watch Demyx pulling a pile of pillows out of a bag. Demyx’s eyes were wide. “How long does he plan on having us IN here?!”

No, spitting up bone shards was too good a death for Axel. Zexion was going to do something that would make his death very painful and make sure it lasted a few weeks. Axel was going down. Sighing, he sank down onto the floor. “I’m going to kill him.”

Demyx blinked at him. “At least he’s feeding us.” He pointed out, pulling out a bottle of wine, a wedge of cheese, some grapes and… “chocolate sauce?” Demyx blinked at the bottle in his hand. “What are we going to do with chocolate sauce?”

Zexion inwardly groaned. He could easily imagine just what he could do what that sauce…and he had a good idea that Axel could imagine what he would do with it too. He swore again. “I’m going to KILL him.”

Demyx laughed. “He’ll let us out in a few hours when he gets bored.” He soothed. Zexion let out a pained sigh. He doubted it.

Silence fell between them, broken only by the sounds of Demyx setting up a comfortable chair for himself with the pillows, and then setting another up beside him. He began to break up the cheese. “You can’t sit there on the floor all night.”

Zexion opened one eye. “I thought he would get bored in a few hours.”

Demyx chewed on his lower lip. “Usually I can guess what Axel’s plans are…this is all so random. He might leave us in here for weeks if it suits him.”

Zexion groaned again and couldn’t help but laugh hollowly. “You really can’t think of ANY reason Axel would lock us up together?” He was so screwed. He was beyond screwed and Demyx was the most oblivious pain in the…

Demyx tilted his head and stared at Zexion for a long minute. “Get over here and sit down so we can have dinner.” He replied quietly.

Sighing, Zexion obeyed and sank down onto the makeshift seat, staring up at the water flowing over them. Silently he took the cheese offered to him and nibbled on the deliciously sharp cheddar, occasionally popping a grape into his mouth. “Zex?” Demyx began slowly.

The world above them exploded. “Demyx, get down!” Zexion threw himself over the blond and they rolled slightly, both staring up with wide eyes at the water flow.

The water was spinning slowly, sloshing dangerously one way before sliding the other way. They heard mechanics groan, and somewhere someone screamed. Zexion clutched Demyx to him as they waited for their world to collapse in on them.

“What the hell was that?” Demyx whispered.

Zexion shook his head, his eyes on the water overhead. Slowly it began to calm down, and then the flow was cut off altogether. They heard people yelling and something collapsed overhead. “Zexion?”

Zexion looked down and saw that Demyx was very pale in the dim light. “Are you all right?” He asked quietly.
Demyx nodded. “Yeah.” He stared up and only vaguely was Zexion aware that he was still laying on Demyx, their legs intertwined.

“Shit.” Zexion squirmed to release the blond and try to find a way out, his legs pushing against Demyx.
Demyx gasped, and Zexion went stock still as he realized that his body had pressed flush to Demyx’s and he was rubbing… “Oh god, Dem.” Zexion whispered. “I’m sorry…” He knew the blond had to be mortified, and it took nearly all of his concentration not to do something that would illicit that gasp again. His heart began to hammer against his chest.

“Don’t…move.” Demyx ordered, his teeth gritted. “Just don’t move.”

Zexion stared down at his companion and best friend. A good person would roll off and untangle his legs then. A good person wouldn’t trace the sharp curves of his best friend’s face with his eyes and imagining tracing them again with his tongue. A good person wouldn’t think dimly about the chocolate sauce still somewhere in their little prison.

Zexion had never been accused of being a good person. He moved deliberately against Demyx and allowed his breath to trail along the teen’s throat. “Dem, I’m sorry.” He whispered. “I’m so sorry.”

Moving again, he kissed his best friend and drank in the soft cry that accompanied his movements. He had only intended on a single kiss, a lingering, gentle kiss before he did the work to ensure that he could win his best friend back. He hadn’t intended on the lanky blond kissing him BACK.

Zexion’s mind turned off as he slipped his arms around Demyx’s frame and used the opportunity from the soft gasp that movement made to slip his tongue into his friend’s mouth. Demyx tasted fresh and clean and pure, and Zexion knew he could drown in him and never even try to save himself.

The need to breathe forced him to lift his head up. Slowly, Demyx’s eyes opened and they were a hazy, smoky blue in the dim light. His arms tightened around the blond as he searched those eyes, unable to speak. Did he apologize? What was he supposed to do?

“It took you long enough.” Demyx whispered.

Zexion’s mind began to work again as an unfamiliar sound filled the small room…laughter. It was not Demyx’s joyful laugh but a throatier chuckle…and it was coming from him. “God I love you.” He whispered in reply.

Demyx’s eyes lit up. “Really?” He asked shyly.

Zexion leaned in and kissed the blond again. “Really.” He replied quietly. “For years now. Ever since I heard you playing that stupid sitar outside of my window, coaxing me to come out to see you.” He smiled down at the teen in his arms. “…you’re my siren.”

Demyx’s eyes sparkled. “Good.” He whispered. “Because I love you too…I’ve played for you. Always for you.”

Zexion’s heart skipped a beat. He stared into Demyx’s eyes as he positioned his knee more firmly against Demyx, stroking him with even the slightest tension in his leg. Demyx whimpered, and Zexion smiled at the blond as he leaned down to nibble on the skin exposed to him. Demyx tasted like sunshine and Zexion could not get enough as he located Demyx’s throat and sucked on his pulse. To his delight, Demyx moaned, his neck arching as his fingers clutched Zexion’s shoulders.

Zexion grinned, lifting his head. This felt like a dream, like a glorious dream he would wake up from sticky and in need of a cold shower. God knew he had dreamed of Demyx just like this in the past, had heard just that moan. He nibbled Demyx’s shoulderblade, using his tongue to gently soothe the sharp bite, looking down at his handiwork…his. Demyx was HIS and he was going to ensure that anyone stupid enough to get close to his siren was going to know it. “Mine.” He whispered.

Demyx laughed beneath him, his hands tightening instinctively as Zexion licked his earlobe in a way that made his breath catch in his throat. “Possessive much?”

Zexion grinned down at the blond. “Damn straight.” He replied, utterly sincere. DAMN straight. His lips met Demyx’s again and he took his time with the kiss, lingering. His tongue, stroking into Demyx’s mouth, gently caressed in time with his leg, which stroked against Demyx until the boy was rising to meet him, returning his kiss almost desperately. Zexion took his time, tasting all that Demyx’s mouth had to offer before sliding back down to feast on the smooth skin. He growled in displeasure as he came to the neckline of Demyx’s shirt, but paused, lifting his head to stare into his friend’s eyes. Maybe Demyx wasn’t ready for this kind of relationship yet. Maybe…

Demyx’s blue eyes were cloudy with desire and the look he gave Zexion made him smile again…there was lust in that look. “Dem…” Zexion hesitated. How did you tell the love of your life that you wanted to fuck them into the ground? This wasn’t even the ideal spot…Zexion would have liked to seduce his friend, to have candles, music, all the romantic stuff that Demyx deserved. He wanted it to be more than a casual fuck…because it would kill him to have Demyx that way…and then have him turn away. Zexion wanted Demyx for the rest of their lives…and this…well…

Demyx gave him a look that Zexion knew well…it took a lot to make Demyx mad or even annoy him. He was too good humored to hold a grudge. “If you stop now…” Demyx hissed at him. “…I will drown you.”
Zexion wanted to laugh but didn’t dare. He still had to be sure. He had to KNOW… “…Dem…I love you.” He whispered.

Demyx stared at him for a very long minute, reading his eyes in the darkness. Taking Zexion’s hand, he brought it to the top of his shirt and helped him unsnap one of the buttons. “I love you too, Zex.” He replied quietly. “And I always will. I play for you…and only you.”

A shiver ran up Zexion’s spine and he knew instinctively that he would NEVER grow tired of those words. “And your parents?” He asked, frowning slightly. His father was not going to like this…and if he had convinced Demyx to give up his music in favor of dueling…what else could he be capable of?

Demyx gave him an impatient look. Another snap fell open. “Zexion…” He murmured and raised up, trailing a soft (and inexperienced) kiss onto Zexion’s throat. Zexion nearly moaned aloud but managed to keep it in, staring at his friend, needing to hear guarantees that this would not stop at tonight…that he would have the rest of his life to savor Demyx…all of Demyx. “…I’m beginning to think you don’t want to see me naked.”

The words were so blunt and not thought out and so DEMYX that Zexion had to laugh as he heard them. “Don’t be stupid.” He ordered, watching as his hand, guided by Demyx unsnapped another button, nearly exposing Demyx entirely.

Demyx looked up at him, his fingers gentle as he and Zexion toyed with the last snap. “I’m not being stupid.” He countered. “I’m yours, Zex. I have been since the day I saw you…moody and antisocial and so cold…I wanted to be the one to warm you up.” There was sincerity in Demyx’s gaze. “I love you…and I’m going to fight for that if I have to.”

That had been what Zexion had needed to hear. The last snap fell open and Zexion deliberately flexed his leg, then moved it, stroking against Demyx. Using the boy’s gasp and the slight arch in his back, he attacked the skin now revealed to him, sucking, tasting and drowning in it, delighted by the fingers that curled into his hair and the soft cries each stroke of his tongue made. He traced each plane of Demyx’s body, lazily working his way down to flick the boy’s right nipple with his tongue. Demyx moaned and Zexion stroked his leg against Demyx again, mimicking the movement with his tongue as he sucked Demyx’s nipple into his mouth, toying with it. The same had to be done with the other, and he kissed, nibbled and sucked until it too was swollen with desire.
Demyx was breathing hard, his back arching slightly with each breath, a ragged, almost desperate wheeze. Zexion unwrapped his prize like a cherished gift, taking his time as he slipped the silky shirt down Demyx’s arms and slowly located the button of the boy’s pants. Again his eyes met those of his friend, searching for the reassurance. Demyx leaned up and kissed Zexion hard.

Zexion, for his part, was utterly delighted by the desperation in that kiss. Demyx was not by any means an aggressive person. He disliked confrontation…but the way he demanded more from Zexion was heady and utterly delightful. Zexion obediently unbuttoned his friend’s pants, his tongue lazily lapping against Demyx’s, one hand sliding down the boy’s smooth side to curl into the waistband of his pants, the other keeping himself carefully balanced so he wouldn’t hurt Demyx.

With one last lingering lick on his friend’s lips, Zexion raised his head and slid down Demyx’s body, taking a moment to dip his tongue suggestively into Demyx’s belly button, drawing a ragged groan from his friend’s lips. Smiling gently at Demyx, he hooked his fingers into the waist of his friend’s pants and slid them down his legs, taking the boxers with him…he saw no reason not to view his love naked right here and now.

He paid homage to the boy’s legs as he revealed them, kneading, gently massaging the muscles and finishing at his feet, which also had to be nibbled, tasted and adored. Demyx was breathing hard, his body tense and shaking with anticipation. He opened his mouth to speak, but Zexion moved faster, his fingers curling around the boy’s erection. Demyx cried out in shock and Zexion smiled, delighting in the silky soft skin beneath his fingers.
Zexion took his time, gently caressing each swollen inch, keeping his movements slow and drawn out, getting delicious responses of pleasure from Demyx, who writhed beneath his every touch. He happily leaned in to suck again on his love’s throat, gently stroking him as Demyx whimpered. He was careful not to stroke too hard, aware that the bare hand on bare skin would chafe and hurt after a moment, thinking idly about the chocolate sauce somewhere in the small chamber. That would mean he would have to move away from his naked lover…and Zexion wasn’t willing to do that for even a second. An almost feverish thought had come into his mind…that if he looked away, if he stopped touching Demyx for even a second…he would wake up to find that it WAS a dream. Zexion had dreamed so long of Demyx…he thought he would go mad if this was just another.

He withdrew his hand and heard a whine of disapproval, laughing as he leaned in to kiss and tease where his hand had once been. This drew out a yelp of shocked surprise from Demyx, hands again finding his hair. Zexion licked and kissed his way over Demyx, taking his time, tasting him fully before slowly lowering his mouth over his friend.

He kept his eyes open and trained on Demyx’s face, watching each change of expression as he sucked softly before dipping his head down. Demyx bucked, his back arching as he moaned, eyes closed in rapture. Zexion relaxed his throat, taking his friend as far as he could before retreating, sucking hard at the same time. He too was new at this…and he kept his gaze firmly on Demyx’s face, his ears extremely sensitive to the sounds of pleasure. He bobbed his head, gulping twice in succession as he sucked and teased Demyx. The gulping drew Demyx farther into his mouth and Demyx nearly screamed as he arched against Zexion. “Zex…oh my god…”

Music. Sweet, pure music. Zexion happily repeated the movement, feeling Demyx tense beneath him. He wanted Demyx. He wanted ALL of Demyx. He ignored the soft pulling on his hair as Demyx tried to warn him, gulping again. Demyx cried out and came, his body trembling violently as Zexion felt liquid fill his mouth. He gulped reflexively, drinking it in and slowly raising his head, licking his lips lightly. He smiled fondly down at his best friend, trembling on the floor and kissed him softly. “Dem…”

Demyx didn’t return his kiss for nearly a full minute as he shook beneath Zexion, but when he did get his head back on and kissed back, there was a fierceness there that took Zexion’s breath away. Demyx pushed him slightly and stared at him with cloudy eyes. “You have too many clothes on.” He pouted.

Zexion blinked…all right…so he was so hard he hurt and he felt like his body was super sensitive…but he hadn’t been so stupid as to think that Demyx would want…but Demyx was pushing him backward until he landed on the pillows, and his hands were up Zexion’s shirt. Zexion whimpered softly, raising his arms to help Demyx raise his shirt. The first brush of bare skin on skin made them both moan, and Zexion helped Demyx get his pants off of him, stretched out beside his blond love. “Dem…”

Zexion had no idea what he was going to say…that Demyx didn’t have to do this? That he didn’t expect anything from his friend yet if he didn’t want anything? Demyx’s hand found Zexion’s erection, and Zexion moaned again, bucking instinctively into that hand. “Zex, I want you.” Demyx whispered as his hand emulated just what he wanted. “Please.”

Zexion stared into Demyx’s eyes. His gaze flickered to the bag with the food in it and he reached out, grabbing the chocolate sauce. He stared into his friend’s face as he coated one finger. “What…” Demyx asked, startled as Zexion slowly touched him.

“I don’t want to hurt you.” Zexion replied quietly. His coated finger found the entrance he was seeking. Demyx whimpered and his legs parted, making Zexion groan in satisfaction as he slowly slipped his finger into his friend’s body. Demyx was tight and hot and GOD he felt good even just against his finger. Zexion waited until Demyx relaxed, gently withdrawing before entering again. Demyx hissed, but didn’t seem unduly upset by what was happening. As before, Zexion kept his eyes carefully on his friend’s face for signs of discomfort as he coated his middle finger and allowed it to join the first.

Now Demyx tensed and Zexion held still until the blond relaxed again, moving slowly and carefully, widening and preparing his friend. A third finger…and Demyx moaned. Startled and alarmed, Zexion looked at his friend, but Demyx was gasping for air. “Oh god…Zex…”

Zexion stared for a moment before what had happened processed into his mind. A grin crossed his face and he stroked his fingers against Demyx’s prostate again, harder, hearing Demyx groan and writhe beneath him. Two more and Demyx could no longer think. He was ready. Zexion coated himself, his eyes still on Demyx’s face as he slowly sank into his friend’s body.

Demyx’s eyes went wide in shock and he hissed in a sharp breath, his eyes closing tightly a moment later. “Dem? Oh god…Dem I’m sorry.” Zexion kissed away the pain on Demyx’s face, hearing Demyx sigh beneath him. ‘I’m sorry, love.” He whispered.

Demyx whimpered. “Zex?” He squirmed beneath Zexion and whimpered again.

Zexion’s fingers found Demyx’s erection as he slowly began to move, aware that the initial movements were going to hurt his lover. Zexion didn’t want to hurt his lover or leave the memory that he had. Demyx cried out, and Zexion angled himself carefully, his strokes into Demyx’s body careful and precise, searching. He knew the instant that he hit that sweet spot, because Demyx tightened around him and this time DID scream, his body beginning to tremble again.

Zexion grinned and moved faster, thrusting into his friend as he stroked in time to each movement, careful to keep himself angled so he would brush that spot again and again. Demyx was nearly out of his mind with pleasure, his fingernails leaving marks on Zexion’s skin. Zexion didn’t care, his lips finding Demyx’s as he felt Demyx beginning to shake. He drank in the sound of his friend’s climax, feeling Demyx coat their joined bodies as he came. Zexion did not last much longer as he felt Demyx writhing, tight and hot and utterly delicious beneath him. “Demyx!” He moaned, feeling his body explode around him. He trembled, barely noticing when Demyx’s arms slid around him and held him gently, Demyx’s lips drinking in his cries as he had done not even minutes before.
They collapsed together, Zexion carefully retreating from his friend. He gathered Demyx into his arms, laughing softly as he saw that Demyx was already half asleep, a soft, satisfied smile on his face. “Dem…I love you.” He whispered. “So much.” His siren.

Demyx smiled sleepily in reply and kissed him. “I love you too, Zex.” He replied quietly. Zexion did not sleep, he remained awake, staring into his lover’s face…and he could swear that somewhere…he heard music.

“Sora!” Cloud burst through the onslaught of students, his eyes wide. “Where’s Roxas?”

Sora shook his head. “I don’t know. I saw someone get him out but I don’t know where they went.” He felt frantic, and he was trembling in Riku’s hold. “Where’s Axel? He was with us wasn’t he?”

“Axel’s fine.” Riku soothed. “I saw Marluxia with him a few minutes ago.” He had never seen Axel looking so pale before either, or so thoughtful as he stared up at the dome.

Sora relaxed slightly and realized he was trembling. “That was some pretty good ice.”

Riku smiled at him. “You too, shrimp. You saved the dome from tipping.”

Leon joined them, his face intense. “The teams are both fine and the dome is being evacuated. That was some quick thinking with that air, Sora. You probably saved their lives.”

Sora flushed and Cloud looked around frantically. Where the hell was Roxas? “Who got Roxas out?”

Sora shook his head, and reluctantly, Riku followed suit. “Too crowded to tell.” Riku admitted. “And I was too busy thinking about stopping the fire before the dome collapsed.”

They all gazed at the blackened shell of the right side of the dome stadium. Teachers and firefighters swarmed around it, all yelling things even as the rest of the students evacuated the stadium. “Good gods.” Leon whispered.

“Cloud! Sora!” Cloud whirled to see Roxas running toward them, his face ashen but his eyes focused. “I heard someone scream.”

“The dome nearly collapsed, but it’s being reinforced.” Sora hurriedly explained. “Are you all right?”

Roxas nodded swiftly. “Yeah.” He shuddered as he looked at the dome. “I can’t believe that happened.”

“Cloud!” Cloud cringed and turned only to find Sephiroth nearly on top of him. “You’re all right!”

Cloud stared at Sephiroth for a long moment. “Of course I’m all right.” He replied dryly. “I didn’t go. I never go to blitzball games. You know that.”

Sephiroth flushed. “Right. I was worried. You weren’t in your room.”

Cloud and Leon exchanged a glance. “You were in our room?” Leon asked quietly.

Riku groaned and Sephiroth shook his head. “No, Vincent was in your room. He told me you weren’t there and that the blitzball dome exploded.”

“Just the brace.” Cloud replied tiredly. “I’m fine, Sephiroth. Calm down.”

Sephiroth gave Cloud a long look before glancing down at Sora and Roxas. An odd light crossed his eyes before he nodded. “Good.” His gaze lingered on Cloud in a way that made him feel exposed. He squirmed and shifted slightly beside Leon. Leon took a single step forward, blocking him. With another long look, Sephiroth swept away.
