A/N: Due to the lack of Abyss fanfiction here, I decided that I'd bring my huge Sync and Ion drabble collection. Most of these do have to do with them being a couple, and I'm going to avoid author's notes as much as possible.

It hurt him to learn of Ion's death. No matter how much he insisted that he hated him, he couldn't bring himself to actually follow through with the emotion. Nothing was simple for him anymore because of the silly fact that he'd fallen in love with the replica known as Ion.
Everything had become complicated.
And he couldn't find himself able to care that it had.
He just wanted to die.
So he could join him.
