"Isn't this so nice Lloyd, we haven't seen Zelos in so long, I’m so glad he's letting us stay a few days with him at his mansion!"

Colette turned to Lloyd with one of her classic smiles. Lloyd just sighed and smiled back. It was typical of Colette to be in a happy mood, Lloyd on the other hand, was ready to just get these few days over with.

"Yeah, it has been about a month or two hasn't it?"

Genis immediately interrupted the conversation to put in a word of his own.

"A month or two??? What are you talking about Lloyd? We haven't seen Zelos for almost a year!"

Okay, so Genis usually said more than a word but that was Genis for ya. Lloyd held his breath as Zelos' butler, Sabastian, led them to the main sitting room and called for Zelos. He nearly choked on his own saliva at the sight he saw next.

"Oh, hey you three, long time no see, heh heh heh..."

Zelos came casually waltzing down the stairs in nothing but a bathrobe, his hair pulled back in a wetly wrapped ponytail. It was obvious he didn't dry himself for Lloyd noted, guilty, that wet droplets still clung to his partially exposed chest and legs. When he realized he had been caught by the chosen himself staring, they then locked eyes for a brief moment and Lloyd immediately darted his gaze to the floor, embarrassed. Lucky for him, Genis broke the silence.

"Jeez, you haven't changed at all! It's no wonder Sheena didn't want to come with us! I mean, look at you! We haven't seen you for like a year and you come greet us like this?? Jeez!"

"Hey! Watch your mouth brat! I let you in my humble home, I can easily have Sabastian throw you out!"

With that Genis clamped it. It was then Colette's naiveness took over and spoke up.

"Why? What's wrong with the way Zelos greeted us? I mean, it's not he was being mean or anything. He was exactly like he always was."

Zelos gave her a smile and winked.

"My dear little Colette! You haven't changed at all have you?"

"I haven't? Oh? How's that?"

Before anyone, especially Zelos, could pursue this any further, Lloyd felt himself fatigued and felt the need to butt in.

"Umm...so where exactly are we suppose to Sleep, Zelos?"

"Huh? Oh ya right...You two down here, and Colette can share my bed with me."

He winked jokingly. This caused an uproar from the two of the boys. Genis speaking over Lloyd first.

"You've got to be kidding me!"

"You didn't really plan it that way...did you???"

Zelos laughed. "You two are still so gullible it's ridiculous. I have one room for her and another for you two...Why? You're not going to bed now, are you Lloyd?"

"Yeah, I think so...sorry guys."

"Sleep well, Lloyd."

"Yeah thanks Colette."

As Lloyd headed up the stair he heard a deep voice bellow behind him.

"Do you need anything before bed, Sir Bud?"

Lloyd gritted his teeth.

"My name's not Sir Bud, and no thanks I don't need anything!"
