_____

"Roxas~" Axel whined at the blonde, "I'm bored! Do we always have to hang out here in the library!" The redhead looked over the books he'd seen a hundred times before, "Can't we hang out some place more... private. Like your room or maybe mine."

Roxas glared at Axel briefly before going back to his book, "And do what?" He asked not really caring about the answer, "There's nothing in our room for us to do."

Axel walked over to Roxas and grabbed the book from his lap earning another glare, "Books are too boring. How can you stand reading them all the time? Let's go do something else." He examined the book Roxas had been reading, "Or if you don't want to do anything else we can at least go somewhere else."

Roxas stood up to grabbed the book but Axel lifted it up to where he couldn't reach it, damn he hated being short, "Bastard I was reading that..." He sighed knowing he wasn't going to win with the stubborn redhead, "Fine. We'll go to your room and I'll read there."

Axel grinned handing the book back, Roxas took it back with a huff never breaking his glare with the other. Axel just smirked

"You know Roxas, you're really cute like that..." He took a step closer, leaned in for a kiss but met with a book instead of lips.

"I told you not to do that in public! Keep this up and I won't be going to your bedroom. I'll just go to mine and lock you out."

He looked away from Axel to hid the slight blush on his cheeks, "Just because I let you kiss me once doesn't mean anything! If we're going to go, let's go now before you do anything else stupid."

Axel smiled, true he got to kiss Roxas once, for a very brief period of time before he got slapped from a very flustered blond, he laughed softly to himself. He wanted another kiss, hopefully this time without getting slapped. Axel followed the blond out of the library trying to keep up with his fast pace with out running. They continued down the hall to the room where doors to each of their rooms were located.

Roxas glanced at his door once he entered the room, he considered, again, of just running to his room and locking out Axel. He knew it was going to be a mistake to go into Axel's room, the older Nobody already made it clear that he wanted to be more than friends. Roxas sighed a bit frustrated, but followed Axel to his room anyway. The sight he saw when he entered the room didn't surprise him at all. There was things strewn through out the whole room, stuff that shouldn't even have been there. Where was he going to sit? He was sure he wouldn't be able to find a chair even if there was one, that only left the bed. Roxas frowned really wanting to leave.

"Sorry it's such a mess... I've forgotten how messy it was since I'm always with you and I just come in here to sleep... I suppose the bed is the only place to sit." He looked at Roxas, he could tell that the younger boy wanted to bolt. "Don't worry I won't bite you." Axel grabbed Roxas' hand before the boy could even make a move, "I swear I won't do anything you don't want to..." He wasn't lying, he wouldn't do anything to Roxas that the boy didn't agree to but how would the other know what he did or didn't want to do unless he experience it first.

Roxas looked around the floor as he was being dragged to the bed, there were all sorts of things that should not have been there. "Axel... I thought we weren't suppose to bring anything from the other worlds." He said wiggling his hand out of Axel's and sat on the corner of the bed, "If the others found out..."

Axel laughed, "I told you I'm always with you, everyone knows if they want to find me all they have to do is find you." He unzipped his coat and slipped it off his shoulders, "Ah, can't do this in the library.. that thing gets annoying sometimes, I really don't like the color black it's so... boring." He tossed the article of clothing on the floor and sat on the bed, keeping his distance for the moment.

Roxas eyed Axel wearily, he still didn't trust the redhead that much, he was already stripping! Okay so maybe he still had a shirt on but he already removed his coat. The blond scooted himself back against he wall but kept his distance from Axel and a straight shot to the door if the other tried something. Roxas opened the book and started searching for the place he was at before Axel had stolen the book from him in the library.

Axel laid back in his bed looking up at the blond, "I thought you had already read that one? Why are you so interested in books about Heartless? We have no control over them." Axel stated as he pulled off his gloves, "You should worry more about the Nobodies we can control."

Roxas rolled his eyes, "I have the Keyblade, well Keyblades, if you've forgotten that already Axel. They were made to destroy Heartless... and I want to know why Heartless exist even in the first place. Maybe find out why I have the Keyblades..." He sighed, looking over at Axel.

Axel sighed along with Roxas looking up at the ceiling of his room, "You know, Roxas, searching for our somebody is always a lost cause... In order for a Nobody to come into existence usually the Somebody dies... We've all looked, but there was nothing left. Once the Somebody becomes a Heartless they die..." Axel thought about Sora, he was still alive but did Roxas already know that Sora was his Somebody? He frowned thinking about it.

"He's still alive Axel. I feel him, his heart is calling me but I don't know where it is... it's a very weak feeling..." He knitted his eyebrows together at frown on Axel's face. He shut the book after carefully marking his place and reached over to poke Axel's cheek giving him a small smile, "Frowns don't suit you, you know?"

Axel looks over at Roxas and grins. He grabs the blond's hand and pull him down on top of him, causing Roxas to squeak when he wraps his arms around his chest, "Aww Roxas are you concerned about me? That's so sweet!"

"Hmph! Axel you ASS!" Roxas squirmed in the redhead's arms, he knew he should have never came in here. He tried pushing up to break the hold Axel had on him, "I already told you that just because I let you kiss me once didn't mean I was going to let you do it again or touch me like this!" He didn't bother answering Axel's foolish question, number VIII knew damn well they couldn't feel things like concern.

Axel laughed at Roxas' attempts to get out of his arms. "I'm not trying to kiss you again, I just like being close to you. It makes me feel good, actually it just makes me feel something. Do you want me to apologize for kissing you that time?"

Roxas stopped struggling to get out of Axel's grip, instead he looks down at him, "Sure Axel, go ahead and explain why you kissed me. I'd like to know why someone who doesn't have feelings wants to get close to someone."

Axel smiled, "Well I can't really explain it... you just looked so cute... so vulnerable. Something told me to just kiss you, maybe an echo of my Somebody still exists in me." He reached up and ran his fingers through Roxas' blond locks, "Kind of the way you do now... lost deep in though, just like you do when you're reading. You have no idea how hard it is to keep my hands off you when you're in the library."

Roxas tired to avoid Axel's touches, he really should have just gone to his room. He just knew that Axel had an ulterior motive to get him alone in a bedroom. "That's ridiculous, Axel, absolutely ridiculous. We don't have feelings! We can't just simply feel like doing something or want to." He sighed frustrated with the redhead already. He wanted to do nothing more than to take his book and leave.

"Roxas, we do feel things... anger, hate, curiosity... those are feelings... we just told each other we couldn't feel love or care. I know we can.. you don't need a heart to know you like or love someone." Axel ran his hand through Roxas' hair again, "I care about you. Why wouldn't I? You're my partner... we battle by each other's sides and do missions together. You are my friend. If you weren't beside me I would be lonely." Axel almost laughed at himself, he was probably going to get slapped again before the night was over.

Roxas stared at Axel, he was right. Damn it he hated when Axel proved him wrong, just when he thought he had this Nobody thing figured out Axel goes and does something like this. "Bastard." He huffed at the other and Axel smiled. That annoyed Roxas even more.

Axel's smile widened, "But you're still with me." He tightened his arm around Roxas' back and used the hand in his hair to pull the blond closer to him. I hope this goes better this time, he thought as he leaned up and pressed his lips against Roxas'.

Roxas looked into Axel's eyes wide-eyed, or he would but the redhead had them closed. He briefly though about how beautiful Axel looked with his eyes closed, maybe he should give him a bit of a break. Roxas moved his lips experimentally against Axel's
surprising not only the other but himself when he found he actually liked having a set of soft lips against his. Or maybe it was the fact that deep down he cared for Axel the same way.

Axel moaned against Roxas' lips, thoroughly enjoying that the blond was kissing him back. He silently cheered to himself and rubbed the back of the younger Nobody's head. He slowly inched his other hand down Roxas' side slowly so he wouldn't alarm the other one. He opened his mouth slightly and pressed his lips against Roxas' more, trying to deepen the kiss a bit.

Roxas slid his eyes shut tilting his head to the side, enjoying the feeling of being close to someone. He moved a hand up to Axel's cheek and set it there lightly, opening his mouth to mimic the redhead's movements. He had no idea how to kiss anyone, right now it was go with the flow, though, that probably wasn't the best thing to do with Axel around.

Axel smiled into the kiss, he stuck his tongue out and lightly ran it along Roxas' bottom lip making the boy squeak and pull back suddenly his face red with want and embarrassment. The sudden movement had caused the hand that Axel had on Roxas' side to move down to the blond's ass. Axel grinned and not wanting to miss an opportunity, he squeezed it gently. Roxas slapped him.

Axel smiled, trying to pull off an innocent look knowing Roxas wouldn't fall for something like that. "Ah... sorry Roxas." He rubbed his cheek where the blond had slapped him. "My hand slipped..."

"Hn!" the blond huffed at Axel, "I'm sure the squeezing was an accident." He scrambled out of Axel's loose grip on him and sat as far away on the bed as he could from the redhead and glared at him, "I told you just because you got a kiss doesn't mean anything..." He ran a hand through his hair trying to calm down. "I'm going to my room now." He reached for his book on Axel's bed but the other hand beat him to it.

Axel had placed a hand on the book before Roxas could reach it not wanting the blond to leave him just yet. He smiled up at Roxas' glare, he was used to this look, it was usually the only one he got from the younger Nobody. He sat up on his bed picking up the book and handing it to Roxas but didn't let go when the blond grabbed it, "I'm sorry I probably shouldn't have done that."

"That's right you shouldn't have!" Roxas yelled at Axel yanking the book from his hand, "You shouldn't have kissed me again either!" He felt himself getting flustered again, the kiss had been different this time. Maybe it was because of the conversation before, maybe Axel was right about being able to feel something. Roxas groaned it all this thinking about feelings was hurting his head, "I'm going now." He stood up, adjusting his coat.

Axel stood up, grabbed Roxas' elbow and pulled him into a tight hug. "Do you want me to walk you home?" Axel laughed running his hand through blonde hair knowing that Roxas would refuse.

Roxas hissed softly pushing against Axel's chest to loosen the redhead's grip on him, "Why? So you can somehow get me to let you into my room and molest me there? I don't think so! I can walk to my room perfectly fine on my own."

Axel pouted, "Aw but what if something happened to you while you were walking to your room?" He loosed his grip on Roxas, he already pissed the blond off enough and didn't want to deal with any more of the blond's wrath. "How about a good-night kiss?" He leaned in only half-joking.

Roxas put his hand on Axel's face when he saw the other leaning in "You don't get another kiss either so don't even try!" He gave Axel a hard shove making him land on the bed, "Good night." Roxas said as he left the room slamming the door shut.
