This is the start of a story as written by three roommates. We will be adding to this soon...

We still have not chosen our names, this is an addition that will come later. I am posting
what we currently have now, so that this post does not get deleted.

The Rogue - Entry 1

This is the first of what I hope will be many journal
entries I shall keep in this little leather bound
book. Huntress has been keeping me busy of late, but
I will strive to record the events of my life herein.
I do not know what lays before me, and death may come
at any turn and at any time. I feel it is best to
keep a record for this book may be all that is left of
me someday.

I am what is known as a rogue in the common tongue.
My life is spent in shadow, plotting the theft or
assassination of my mark. It is not a glamorous life
by any means, but it is the only way I know. I could
go back and record the story of my childhood, and how
I came to the human lands, but to be honest with
myself, I hardly remember most of it. Life before
Huntress was survival, nothing more nothing less.
Years spent working as an errand-runner, pickpocket,
and occasionally whore are probably best forgotten
anyway.

So I will begin with the Faire. The world famous
Darkmoon faire had finally reached the outskirts of
Goldshire and Huntress was in a rare mood. We visited
the Dwarven city and bought the finest silken
garments, cleaned up in a local inn, and proceeded the
trip to the small hamlet. I must say that she was in
rare form. Her beauty rivals that of the cascading
waterfalls in Ashenvale, and having dropped the heavy
mail she favors for an azure tunic, she was
breathtaking. I myself chose a black silk dress. I
will admit that the material felt wonderful against my
skin compared to the leather I normally wear in the
field. Though it did little to hide my embarrassment.
I am an assassin of some notoriety, and being seen
trolloping around in a dress wasn't my idea of a good
time. However, in travelling with Huntress I have
learned to make certain concessions. One of which
being my pride.

We spent the afternoon drinking Darkmoon Special
Reserve and taking in the sites. I mainly watched
her, as I always do. She has never given me any sign
that she understands my affection toward her. I have
resigned myself to watch her from afar, and if the
moment ever comes I will sieze it. At least that's
what I had always planned. Then he came. The smartly
dressed human warrior. I do not know his name , but I
know that rage built in my heart when i saw the way
she looked at him. From the way he took us in, his
gaze lingering a bit too long over the both of us, I
knew he was trouble. Huntress and I have travelled
together for some time now. We rarely if ever have
accepted another companion outside of her faithful
pet. She has on occasion flirted with men, but they
were all quickly dismissed within a day or two. He
was different. They danced together for hours,
sharing whispers and drinks like longtime lovers. I
spent the rest of the night in the filthy inn filled
with unseasoned adventurers and drunken barmaids
sharpening my blades and concocting a very lethal
poison should the need arise. I grow weary for the
night, perhaps I will write more tomorrow.
