Stolen Light
It was almost as if he couldn't help himself, he was so drawn to the light that was around the pretty blonde. Light that was denied to him after being raised in darkness. If he were to touch him would he be able to feel the light? If he were to kiss him would he be able to steal some of it from him? He took another step forward, out of the shadows and towards the pretty Bishop who was currently reading through one of his spell books. His hand reached out to grab hold of some of that sun gold hair when Lucius turned to look at him.
"Hmm? Jaffar? Are you in need of something?" He inquired.
Of course the assassin jerked back as if he had been doing something wrong and looked away that eternal glare on his features. The blonde blinked then tilted his head to the side wondering if he had done something wrong, had he somehow offended Jaffar? He wasn't sure how he could have done that in a single sentence but he figured that some were more sensitive then others. He turned his gaze from the assassin and back to his book once more. Though now he was having a far harder time reading the words on the pages.
Jaffar looked back at the young man for a moment then sighed, that had been to close but he could almost feel it even having only got within arms length of him. He was bathed in a light that Jaffar couldn't even hope to stand in after all he had done in his life.
It was an odd feeling that went through him. He knew that he couldn't have the light that Lucius did and that made something feral inside of him start to bubble to the surface. The more he stood there watching him, the more that he wanted to taint the pretty one. To make him unworthy of the light that he was bathed in. He took another step forward towards him and reached out. This time Lucius didn't turn and the assassin's hand tangle in his long hair.
A soft, surprised sound escaped the blonde's lips as his head was jerked back so that it was against Jaffar's leg. He starred up at him and then whimpered, "Jaffar?" He whispered, then cringed a little not liking the light that was in his eyes. It seemed somehow unholy and frightening. His hair was used like a leash as the assassin forced him up to his feet.
"Jaffar? Please. Tell me what I did, what I can do to make up for it." He whimpered as he found himself being backed up against a tree.
There was the hissing sound of a blade being drawn, its sharp tip being pressed against his throat, "I want the light." It was the most words that Lucius had heard the man speak before, he was normally so quiet. He opened his mouth to ask what light he was talking about when the man's mouth slammed down on his.
It was a feral mockery of a kiss and it wasn't long before Lucius could taste his own blood as his lips were bitten by the man. Jaffar jerked back looking into wide blue eyes, then down to Lucius's bloody mouth. The looked that entered his eyes made him look almost pleased. He reached up to run the knuckles of the hand that held his blade over them. Then lifted it up and licked the Bishop's blood from his knuckles. Then he released Lucius who sank down to his knees, "I want your light."
Lucius whimpered it sank in finally what he meant. Then he was scrambling on his hands and knees to get away from him. The light of St Elmine was not something he would willingly give up. It was his life! More so since his training allowed him ascension to being a Bishop. The assassin planted a foot on the hem of his robe and there was a flash of his blade that drew a soft sound of surprise from the blonde as his clothing fell away.
He sat up wrapping his arms around himself in a protective gesture but he felt himself freeze in fear at the gaze on his features, the way that Jaffar was looking at him, as if he meant to destroy him completely from the inside out, "You cannot do this Jaffar!" He cried lunging for his book, one spell and he was sure that he could knock the fool on his ass.
He was close, so very close. His fingertips brushed the bindings of the spell book before the man's hand was again entangled in his hair and was being cruelly yanked back against the man's body. Jaffar wrapped an arm around Lucius his knife pressing against his belly, "Move and I will gut you." He growled, then pressed it harder against him so that blood appeared. The Bishop gave a soft cry of pain pressing back more against Jaffar to escape the blade's bite.
The action drew more feral feelings from Jaffar and he lowered his head teeth sinking into Lucius's shoulder as if claiming the pretty one as his own. He tasted of purity, was warm with the holy light, and it only drove him that much more. He wanted him, desired him, wanted to touch, taste, take him. But over all, he wanted to taint him. Wanted to draw Lucius into darkness with him. The assassin's other hand untangled from his hair to cover his mouth and he started to drag him farther into the woods.
