Sora was sitting on the docks staring out at the sea. The blazing sun just setting. Ever since the chat that he had with Riku and Kairi, he had been wondering ‘Are there other worlds out there?’ Wooden boards creaked announcing the arrival of someone. Sora was still gazing at the sea when that someone shoved him. Sora fell off the docks into the water.

“You know Riku, a simple hello would do just fine,” Riku held his sides laughing. Sora jumped back up on the dock getting water on Riku. “It’s not funny! I’m all wet!”

“Aw come on! Lighten up a bit won’t cha?” Sora sniffed and jumped on Riku. Both boys came crashing down, Sora on top of Riku. Their faces were inches away. Riku’s eyes were wide open. Sora was just as shocked. The sun had fully set now. The stars twinkling merrily at the scene below.


‘God! Riku’s going to kill me! Why won’t he shove me off or something? Why won’t I get up?’ Sora noticed his knee was oh so close to Riku’s crotch. ‘I’m really going to die,’ He finally got his mind to wrok. Sora bolted up. “I’m s-sorry Riku,” Riku just sat there looking dazed.

“What is it Riku?” Sora’s face was full of concern.

“I need to tell you something…..alone,” Riku said looking at Kairi. Kairi stuck her tongue out at him.

“All right Riku,” Riku led Sora to a large Paopu tree. “So what did you wanna tell me?” Riku was quiet. He was gazing intently at Sora. Sora fidgeted. Riku sighed. He stepped closer to Riku. He raised his gloved hand and touched Sora’s cheek gently. “R-Riku?”

“Sora, I like you,” His voice was calm and cool.

“I know you like me Riku,” Riku’s heart leaped. “We are friends after all,” Riku dropped his hand. Sora stifled a whimper from the loss of the contact.

“No Sora, I mean I really like you as in this way,” Riku pulled Sora close. He dipped his head. His lips brushed against Sora’s. That single touch made electricity dance in Riku’s veins. Sora ducked out of Riku’s embrace.

“R-Riku, I like you like that way too, but don’t you think it’s a lil too fast for this to be happening?” A slight tinge of red graced Sora’s cheeks.

“Sure Sora, what ever you say,” Riku turned around and walked away, with a little smile on his lips.
