This is a beautiful criticism of the way Nintendo is treating Samus right now; they made a mistake with Other M, I think, and are doubling down on it, tripling down on it, assassinating one of the best characters in gaming... it's frustrating to see, but fantastic inspiration for works like this one.
Your take on the character of Samus is spot on, I think, and I love the way she is aware of what's been done to her and her struggle to try and fight it. I love her small success followed by the forced unconscious responses of her body, love the namelessness of the Federation troopers that have taken her.
Her mind being intact gives Samus a terrible sense of helplessness, where she has to fight to do anything - to speak her mind or move without some pre-programmed response taking over, and I love that you've worked the character redesign from the latest Super Smash Bros. into your work.
Simply awesome. I hope there's more - I want to see where this story goes, what these troopers have in store for their mascot/pet/plaything, and how she copes and tries to escape from what's been done to her.
