I managed to laugh at that Captain N joke right through my bitter trauma at Simon Belmont being kicked out again. Good job on the humor, the characterization, and... well, the obvious other thing needed a little work, and I'd've laid off on trying to make Little Mac taller by cutting down the other folks (no pun intended), but the other bits carried it for me.
